- Technically speaking, yes.
However, farmland is VERY tightly controlled by the government (and laws).
You need to be a farmer to buy farmland and get the approval from the local agriculture board to change hands.
The process could be a nightmare.
Farmland in a rural area is very very cheap due to lack of demand and no real estate agent wants to deal with it.
(Agents are paid on a basis of the value of the land)
