The End of Humanity? Exploring the Singularity and AI

- The technological or AI singularity is a hypothetical future point in time, when artificial intelligence will become smarter than humans. This can result in an unpredictable chain reaction, where AI will self-improve faster and faster, creating a super intelligence that goes beyond human comprehension.
According to some, the singularity is inevitable, and only a matter of time when our society will turn into a dark dystopia. Or even human extinction....While others believe in a more symbiotic relationship between man and machine.
Only time can tell, but what do you think will happen?

@@Artificial.Intel. the narrative tempo so natural and not bad and not so fast to deliver a message ..you won't go wrong with that ..unlike to the other AI TH-cam channels that too fast to deliver the message and difficult to cope with by the viewers..
@@thethirdiii Thanks very much for your great feedback, and I'm glad you like the videos. It is exactly why I tried to change the production into something different from the existing channels. A lot of them are AI voiced, which I don't like ;) How did you find our channel / videos?
@@Artificial.Intel. it's just pop out in the TH-cam channel feeds.. that's it.. but I'm really interested about AI TH-cam channels to watch but I only pick better narrative voice and also interesting content..just make a content about positive and negative impacts of artificial intelligence that would be great..
@@thethirdiii Awesome! What is it that interests you about AI? I'm planning to focus more on 'concepts' than AI topics that are trending (but of course there is a lot of newsworthy AI coming at us exponentially, so I won't exclude some news items)

Never give AI free will; especially when they can cause harm to humans. Specialized AI (SAI)is the way forward.
I completely agree Collin! Although I am afraid every invention known to man will be used for good...and for bad. AI won't be an exception. Currently reading the book Scary Smart by Mo Gawdat, the development of AI is worrying to say the least...

To travel beyond our planet, humans are far too vunerable to cosmic radiation, and too frail in terms of environmental condition requirements, not to mention the timelines galactic travel would require. Now imagine if you are paired with a robot AI unit, space travel not only becomes possible, it is inevitable.
Interesting thoughts!! Never thought about that. So you are hinting at a human-robot symbiosis?

The only thing AI will ever be able to do is behave in ways that humanity is willing to cooperate with. That's it's only future. Sorry.
Can you think of an example? I certainly hope you are right, but I'm afraid something "unforeseen" will happen in the near future...

A.I. is a threat bigger than you are claiming. There’s more to it than you think. Humans will be outsmarted, underworked and useless to them and so they will crush us like bugs. When you give intelligence to what you can’t control trust me it’s humans vs A.I. and A.I. will win
