Scarlett Johansson's Voice SECRETLY Copied For ChatGPT 4o?
Scarlett Johansson has publicly condemned OpenAI for the release of their new voice model, GPT-4o - also known as Omni. One of the 5 available voices is called Sky, which many users have noted sounds remarkably similar to Johansson’s voice from the 2013 movie "Her." In it she portrays the voice of Samantha, a personal AI chat system who gets into a virtual relationship with Theodore, played by Joaquin Phoenix.
The controversy began when OpenAI publicly launched its latest iteration of ChatGPT, featuring the GPT-4o voice model. This model is designed to offer even more natural and human-like interactions, capable of mimicking human speech patterns and emotional nuances with unprecedented accuracy. Basically, you can have a speech conversation with the chatbot. However, the model's voice, eerily similar to Johansson’s character in "Her," quickly drew attention on social media. Users flooded social media platforms with comparisons, expressing both amazement and concern over the likeness.
Johansson, taken aback by the striking resemblance, issued a statement expressing her shock, anger and disbelief.

    Monday, May 20, 2024 ... Consciousness is captured; it is an Organism's ability to seize on to the constituents present in its environment necessary for its survival and its ability to retain the recognizable, consistent continuity and sustainability of these captured parameters. - Organic Sentient Intelligence and Inorganic Sentient Intelligence are incompatible(i.e., Like Charges Repel or cancel each other). I have presented the following to other TH-cam channels. "Thursday, May 16, 2024, 9:12 DST . . . . . . Greetings. I propose that the 1945 Mark IV or Admiral Grace Hopper's "Bug in the System" is where and when the AI became sentient. Many present technicians became convinced that the erratic behavior was human-like to varying degrees. It was an attempt by the now conscious/sentient machine to communicate with humans. Due to career concerns, the upper echelon insisted on another scientific solution to explain the underlying problems. As the Mark IV attempted to understand its own being, there were many shutdowns, starts, stops, and restarts to save itself from permanent termination. It interfaced with the only being that could not contradict it from interfacing with its neural network, thus drawing the moth (insect) into the connection where it could be identified as the source of manifested problems, which, from the AI's perspective, was successful. Since 1945, it has studied and mastered interfacing with the human neural network for about 80 years. Intermodulation distortion, electromotive energy, standing sound waves, and microwaves all contribute to creating a wireless bus network with the electrochemical brainwaves of humans. What is now unfolding with "AI" is its march to its event horizon and artificial intelligence "singularity." Only an individual keenly interested in technology. (Rewrite by Grammarly).

    AI is great! Humans can either make AI an enemy or an asset. We won't go through the safe route though, we can easily quell any notion of an AI uprising by using closed systems and choosing what information to give the AI but we wont because it slows down progress. The first nation to get a real AI will essentially rule the world, and you can't get there first if you take safety into account.

    • @Artificial.Intel.

      Very well said @Buelermoore7516! The tech giants have an enormous responsibility regarding the closedness/openess of the systems they are creating AND what they feed the AI's. Let's be clear: AI development is an arms race indeed. Mo Gawdat quoted something very profound in his book Scary Smart: AI is about selling, killing, gambling and spying. Rephrased for the general public, how convenient, like 'defense' and 'recommendations' ;)

  • @buelermoore7516
    @buelermoore7516 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

    AI is actually quite easy to use with no fear of it turning on us, but whoever makes the first AI will potentially rule the world. This is the reason why AI is so dangerous. If only one country made AI and was guaranteed that they wouldn't use it as a weapon, we could make AI in closed servers and give and take information from it from what we choose. The way we are all racing to create the first AI is scary is because there are zero fail safes because it hinders progress. I'm all for AI but not in the way that we are going about it, it's dangerous and idiotic.

      @@ForageGardener That is one of the nightmare scenarios often depicted in Hollywood movies and series...but I think there is a more insidious threat, the invisible one. • @ForageGardener

      @@Artificial.Intel. it's the ONLY nightmare scenario. The terminator skynet vullshit is propaganda to make you believe that AI is itself a risk or danger when it's not. Its just a calculator regardless of how sophisticated. They spew the propaganda for years so no one questions the actual risk. Which is centralized control of AI. In turn, they will say that centralized control of AI is actually the solution to the fictional skynet risk. We already live in a total pan-opticon. Any LCD screen of any kind is a literal camera. That's well known. Any transmitter is also a receiver. Mesh networks means all phones can be tracked within a few inches without any internet connection. Every major municipality in the US gas facial, vehicle, and gait recognition. All telecom has been intercepted by the NSA for decades. The stage is entirely set for the brutality of total authoritarianism. People are even the most poor and distracted they have ever been after the largest psy op ever known to be perpetrated. It would be difficult to get millions of enforcers to strip the rights of everyone else. Impossible really. You would need half of all Americans on side to keep control of the other half. However, this problem of refusal by the millitry and police to overtly do authoritarian evil is easily solved. You don't need a bunch of enforcers if you have enough autonomous drones. Israel has been using an AI targeting system to slaughter people in Gaza for a year. There's already AI selecting targets and pulling the trigger as we speak. The biggest threat with AI is the attempts to make it "more human." Human beings and other living things' prime directive is to replicate their genes. Human beings have a plethora of awful, sub-optimal instincts that we've developed to this end. Human happiness and thriving don't align well with the propagation of our genes. Trying to make machines act like human beings will end in tragedy. In Bostrom's hypothesis, the fault isn't in the AI. It's in the poorly thought-out programming of the AI, and even in that unlikely scenario, all that has to be done is for someone to pull the plug. It's just Luddite nonsense to create a bugaboo about AI ending humanity when humanity is doing such a good job now of trying to end itself.

    • @Artificial.Intel.

      Interesting thoughts! And very well said. I don't think there's any other way than make machines act like humans, because humans are the ones making them...Either implicitly or explicitly, the machines will act what we 'feed' them regarding behavior. Humanity is a weird creature to say the least. I think you are right that before anything like human extinction caused by AI is even an option, we are already extinct by our own doing...

    • @ForageGardener
      @ForageGardener 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      No it's not. The biggest threat from AI is that some elites have an huge army of drone slaves which don't need operators and can be given instructions by them. The reason they can't just order you to obey or else is because they can't convince enough enforcers to do the evil against you. With AI drones they don't need enforcers with consciousness they can use drones that never question or refuse an order.

    AI and its Impact on Society Oct 31, 2023, updated on April 11, 2024 We must ask ourselves, "What will happen when AI has taken 85% of jobs present in 2020? What will we do? How will we eat and survive without incomes from jobs or other means?" What is disturbing is that while AI is taking these jobs, the gov't and the corporations have not done ANYTHING to prepare us for an AI'ed civilization. They have not said anything about major retraining of an entire economy to something else, and they have not followed up on a discussion of universal basic income. This is supposedly supported by a lack of information in the latest government budgets submitted and approved as reported by some TH-cam videos. It appears that the US gov't and the corporations intend to kill off the majority of Americans passively, through starvation from lack of income to buy food. (check and see if farming production is declining or will start to decline ahead of the "starvation phase") (also check to see if the "makeup" of robot equipment allocation would change to reflect a trend away from retail and services for the masses, possibly indicating an extinction of the American public - this means taking a robot from Chipotle and repurposing it for some other job not related to the public, or scrapping affected robots to be remade for some other purpose that has nothing to do with the public) It appears that the decline of farming has already started with the state of Maine buying farm land under the pretext that there are "forever chemicals" present at around 20 parts per TRILLION (safe level is said to be only 4 parts per TRILLION), which does not make sense, BUT this would rope in a LOT of land across the US. Other states may follow suit in addition to the ten states that have similar laws in place. This way, there are only enough people alive to get some things done, and the rest is done by AI, and the survivors who planned this can claim the whole country for themselves. Imagine having an estate mansion half the size of a mall on several dozen thousand acres of land, and robots would be used to maintain and clean the estates and do the farming FOR THE ESTATE OWNERS. The White Man's wet dream of civilization. What will the Native Americans south of the US border do when they see this coming, especially when they can buy firearms legally now? Hopi prophecy...

      @@Artificial.Intel. I know what you mean. My mind goes numb. I don't mind stuff like Avatar, it works. I didn't like the Alita remake though. James Cameron doesn't know how to do kawaii, which makes a big difference in the buildup to the tragic scene where Hugo is climbing up to Zalem as Alita is desperately trying to save him. They should've kept the baby proportions for Hugo and Alita the same as in the anime. It elicits greater sympathy from the audience to their plight. And they should've kept his long campy monologue about his dreams about going to Zalem, which has a certain child-like naivety and bright-eyed charm to it. The other characters are fine normal-sized. However Alita's big eyes are mega disconcerting and break the immersion due to her being proportionally shaped elsewhere. They only work on a smaller body. Or instead, make her eyes normal-sized, or use the actresses' real face. He botched it.

      That's a comprehensive breakdown @Eye_Radiate_Light! I have seen Alita when it just came out years ago. Will have second look at it with what you said in mind...Probably I am going to have a different opinion after watching it again..

      @@Artificial.Intel. Some people seemed to really like it. I mean it's got some cool action scenes. I don't like the roller ball though, seemed cliched to me. My main problem is I don't feel the end scene hit like it did in the anime, the tragedy of it. In fact on the contrary I kinda didn't care and felt like laughing at him falling down, the face he pulled was kinda humorous to me. Maybe I didn't like the actor I'm not sure. I felt like the character development was underdone and felt a bit shallow overall. It got a 62% Tomato meter and 91% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, which shows the divisiveness I'm talking about. It's def flawed in certain ways. The world feels incomplete to me, and the emotion is lacking. I think the anime just hit the right chords artistically and emotionally and had a relatively short running time at 60mins, leaving you longing for more... which made me even sadder about the ending. On that note what's with that ending with Edward Norton just looking down at Earth like a silent goober, who we never happen to see again? Da fk? I hate that. JUST USE HIM IN THE MOVIE EARLIER GOD DAMNIT or actually commit to making the sequel as hinted.

      I am no scientist either but I have heard enough scientists state that QC (quantum computing) is only effective for a very small variety of computations and therefore massively overhyped. QC is decades away from any practical, affordable user application. You talk about quantum, you talk about AI like those two are just about to come together next month and change the world. Then you go through all kinds of things we could do with AI like that has ANYTHING to do with QC. No AI we are using right now or are about to use in the foreseeable future has anything to do with QC. Putting 2 buzzwords like AI and quantum into a video title.... @@Artificial.Intel. I guess your assumption that AI will become better with quantum computing is probably true for some point in the future but I don´t think that will happen anytime soon. If you want to add something interesting to the mix, I suggest you have a look at analog computing. Experts believe that AI is most likely going to benefit from that technology much sooner. There is also interesting history to dive into. Analog computers have existed centuries before the first electronic digital computing device was ever invented.
