Sheesh! The caravan is much bigger than I thought. I guess I could never appreciate the full scale of it through playing in flight simulators growing up hahah
Thank you for sharing your warm trip there. It is always beautiful and warm down there. They only thing about this winter here in Chicago is that we have had light snow and still cold air.😄😄 I laugh at videos like this where it is warm there in places like this than in Chicago.😄😄 I am trying to figure out where to retire to.😄😄
You had all the fun and then were lucky you could split before you had to fresh water wash the Caravan to remove all the salt water from floats, gear, and aircraft skin to prevent it from corroding. 💦
Wow, super cool video. I’m so excited I just received a grant to pay for my pilot school and I hope I can do a good job. I’m a little nervous but I’m going for it.
Great trip! Staniel Cay is awesome. Pretty solid crosswinds (reported at 30kts) on that runway when I was there a few years ago. Looks like that is what happened to the busted airplane on the ramp🌴🌴
Haha been there, done that…. No more boats for me :) better to have friends with boats… I guess you could say the same for planes too… You know the saying, if it floats, flys, or ****’s… rent it. 😹
I wish my seaplane could make it all the way to the Bahamas! A Caravan is a dream for me, but your first comment about the insurance requirements... and cost of insurance make me doubt that'll happen
Great trip for this time of year. I loved to see the plane land beside the Cruiseships in Miami. I hope to see you swim with the pigs on an other video. Great plane, but huge. Love to see more of it. Ä
Flew in the right seat on a Cessna Caravan twice now. Once in and out of The Grand Canyon Airport and the other on The Loch Lomond Seaplane. That was amazing, best experience ever
@@gear_downone of your channel milestones should be to spend a day learning from you like a mini mentorship for a day or something. I would love to learn about more of the behind the scenes logistics that come with managing so many different aircraft.
I bet KSLC is like your second residence! haha! I work pretty close to where P M lives. Beautiful area in the mountains! I'm working towards becoming a private jet pilot myself and just came along your awesome channel, which is perfect! Ceeeeeeya!
you'll get to 100k subscribers in no time if you keep it up. great content, please make more of it. get more cameras and make the videos a little longer.
I’ve been all over the Bahamas and it’s another world over there. Next time you’re here should try Cat Cay. Enjoy the videos man keep them coming. Be good!!
Man she reminds me of the Kodiak I got lucky enough to fly a handful of times. Noice video once again my man. I couldn't begin to fathom landing next to those ships in Port of Miami
For me, this was way too much to do with activities and experiences outside aviation. While that is totally cool, it's like a lifestyle thing, I just wish it was more of a vlog style format. Specifically talking more about the plane, more about acquiring it, more from your buddy who was flying it, etc. Don't get me wrong, Love the content, here and on insta., but this was a rare miss. Much love.
Such an awesome video! I'm just wondering... What would it take to get a ride in your Caravan? I know you probably get this question all the time, but I have to ask. I'm a 230 hour PPL based in Central FL, starting instrument soon. Just trying to meet more people in the industry and would love to hop in with you guys if you ever have a spare seat... Hope you have a great weekend! Thanks for sharing
Love the videos brother. I'm transitioning out of the military soon and i'm wanting to pursue aviation and i'm interested in doing pilot contracting jobs. Would you be willing to do a video on how to get into contracting flying?
Awesome video! I love the caravan such an easy and reliable plane, what’s your opinion on flying the caravan on floats in the saltwater like that? Clean off well with freshwater after and that’s it?
why does the size of the plane determine whether it is allowed to fly with only one pilot vs. two? Usually, exeptions of rules happen when risks can be mitigated in another way. Now, smaller planes must be far more dangerous? Help me understand thanks :D
Just out if curiosity, where did you guys fly out of originally? I swear i seen a sea plane just like this one fly in & out of the airport close to me.
Another great video. This one I have to say so far is my favorite. I really enjoyed seeing the view from above in the Caravan. What a beast that plane is. It’s been awhile since I’ve been there. Wondering how long did it take to fly to the Bahamas?
Although I am seaplane current in our current seaplane I am not currently current on our insurance. They must know I have built time up and am current on the current, in, our current seaplane.
Sick video! Keeping my motivation during flight training high. Awesome to see the other side. 🙏🏼
Thanks, keep moving forward!
Looked like a rad day! where the heck were the piggies? lol

Pretty cool! I have worked on 208s for years and actually did a pre buy on a 208 floatplane that Jimmy Buffet bought.
Super cool!
