Exactly, you do get accused of buying one at 1kc. I do know a few who have bought one. You get a great sense of accomplishment from getting it yourself though.
Not sure why it's a surprise regarding the infernal capes. The amount of players I've seen in the past 3-4 months I've seen with infernal capes but have literally no other kc in any other bosses in game is unreal.
Some people just go for BIS cape and stick to PVP. Having KC in other bosses isn't a pre req to complete infernal. However, yes, there are a shit ton of bought capes.
I can confirm that it is possible to close/open the bank while doing another action, this counts for almost everything, the reason why the potion makes wasn't doing more actions per tick is that it's limited to 10 actions per tick
The mouse not being rendered on screen is no big deal. They just disabled it on start. The one you see later on in the center is the non client controlled mouse. Smart so no one can see the in game inputs and mimic the script.
Agreed lost cause because they have no incentive to fix it none of these addicts are quitting RuneScape anytime soon they won’t lose the thousands of hours they invested into 1’s and 0’s on a computer screen.
Damn bro the 3d printer minimg bot got out. I used mine on a burner phone, i programmed mine to mine for a variable run that would go for 50min-80min then log out, a cooldown cycle and then log back in and repeat, did it while at work, hit 99 in like a month?
Jagex REALLY needs to step their account security game up. They have their hands full of unban requests due to bad account security. Not being able to use uppercase letters in a password is just a tiny example. If less people get hacked, they can to spend less time going through the massive unban requests, or spend the same amount of time for fewer accounts, which results in better reviews of the ban (appeal)/infraction. I don't know why they're still sleeping on this.

That private server thing with lvl 3 accounts would be very interesting if you could make different bosses fight each other. Which bosses can KQ defeat? Can Nex be beaten by the other teamed up GWD bosses? How many Moles does it take to kill Corp? Would be very cool
Script is the set of actions a bot client follows. Most bot clients have a range of different scripts they accept that are generally exclusive to one bot client.
So that's why barbarian fishing people were debating whether they prefer having foreskins or not. I always wondered how bored people had to be to get to that level of conversation.
I'd be curious to see an episode that breaks down the overall RS economy. I have a suspicion that Jagex has not 100% been honest about their bot-busting approach with the player base. It is very possible that the amount of botting in this game is required to support the normal player base's use of consumables. There are some instances where bots force an in-flow of rare gear (which is why Jagex has had to implement various gold sink mechanics to fight price de-flation), but I wonder if the flip is true for consumable items. Would sharks / logs / potions / runes cost several multiples more than they do today if the bots were all nuked simultaneously? Would a player base even survive if consumable prices increased 3-5x? Not at all defending mass bot farms, just an interesting thought exercise.
@@lilguthix7784 That's not how it works. Everything is a function of supply and demand. The truth of the matter is over time items will continue to come into the game and be (Generally) devalued. Think of it this way... if there were 100 players in total, once 100 twisted bows or masori sets entered the game there would (in theory) no longer be a demand for those items and prices would naturally begin to fall. That's not quite the same for consumable supplies, and BiS gear is always priced on a supply / demand curve based mostly on the item's overall utility, NOT the amount of supplies it requires to farm. The average expert TOA run requires like 4 restores and 2-3 brews. A price fluctuation in brews will not cause a shift in TOA loot prices or overall profitability. Does it mean bosses that drop primarily consumable supplies (Vork, Zulrah, etc.) might become more profitable? Maybe. I'm more curious to see if the VOLUME of supply removed from the bots can even remotely be offset by only normal players. My bet is on "no"
If they did that then farming those things would become more profitable and more people would do it, imo it would just make a more diverse economy where not every crafting recipe that gives skill xp makes a loss.
@@cameronbreeze4029 that's not how an economy works. it's supply vs demand. for example if an average player takes 10 sharks into combat and you multiply this by 1000, then you need 10k sharks, imagine sharks aren't on a drop table and need to be farmed from actually fishing, either minnows or actual shark fishing. so each trip takes around 1 minute (an what if) that means that if 1000 players would do this every minute, that'll be 600k sharks consumed AN HOUR, you think legit players would even make close to that amount of sharks in 1 hour time? eventually the supply chain will dry up, once that happens and sharks become more of a commodity, that'll mean that instead of paying 1k GP per shark, you'll pay 5k GP per shark, that means people will find alternative methods of food, but then the same will happen for that food and the cycle continues. sure it'll become more profitable early on, but many won't even bother with it anymore, that's why they generally just inflate drop tables with alchables. but let's put it into perspective, the botters were basically adding so much supply that the demand was met at all times and a giant sur plus, once that supply dwindles down without the botters, the demand can't be met anymore, which means the price of said item goes up, people still earn the same amount of GP/H through bossing/raids. sure you can go "but people will make up the difference!" will they? as taken with our example, if a bot farm can perfectly get these supplies and go over the actual demand required, how can humans meet this demand? according to the wiki, through minnows you can expect 325 sharks an hour if you don't mess up, to make the demand for sharks in our example, which is overkill, but it's not entire false concidering there can be 10k bots easily on 1 specific thing. but 600k sharks divided by 325 sharks an hour = atleast 1847 active players doing minnows perfectly to make that bare minimum supply, which isn't impossible, but are you sure that it's feasible? there are a lot more supplies that'll suffer, coal, gold, mithril, any type of logs, karambwans, a good portion of the "active player count" is botters, which keep the game playable for the normal folk, wether or not you like that fact, botters are a neccesary evil to meet demand vs supply chains. imagine if for example coal becomes inaccessable unless YOU go get it yourself like an ironman, howmany people would go out and go to MLM and get coal, or go mine coal yourself, or boss to get the coal, many would either just quit the game, or not do it at all, which means they won't meet certain skill requirements, which means they'll quit the game regardless. you need to increase the actual player count by a lot in order to match atleast 1 botter, a bot doesn't need a break, humans do, a bot plays perfectly, a human literally can't.
@@DarkDyllon I don't think many people are eating 10 sharks a minute lol. But my whole point is that if sharks become more expensive some % of the people doing other activities (combat included) will switch to doing more fishing due to the increased profits, that or people will switch to a cheaper food source.
Jagex has incentive to not ban bots. They pay memberships. If they let them bot long enough to make a little cash before banning its incentive to keep making more accounts and buying more membership.
@dziewiatkom bonds are still purchased with real money. The botter might not directly buy membership, but they are indirectly if they buy a bond. It's no different then asking a friend to buy you membership for a month and you'll just send them 5m in game.
@@tylerweatherbee9180 you can just grind a shit ton of igc, in game currency, gold, and buy a bond wtf are you saying? In what world would a conversation go “hey buddy, can you buy a bond for my account? It’s cool I’ll send you the cost for a bond with in game money, like 7-8m gold but can you just give me your card info or just log into my account and buy a bond please?” That’s so pointless, bonds can be purchased with in game money, so lifetime membership can be held for forever once initially obtained with gold in game. I don’t understand your point. Bots ruin the economy, jagex doesn’t really care if the economy is bad because it ultimately is not in a “its god awful super fucked up” state, it’s just bad, and bad for new f2p players in particular. Therefore, there’s more reason to cave and buy a membership, that’s jagex’s goal I believe.
@anthonylombardo1261 you missed my point entirely, which is okay it might have been poorly explained. There are probably tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of bots with membership. Regardless of how the membership was obtained, that is millions of dollars in jagex pocket each year. Jagex has no incentive to permenatly introduce a true anti cheat team or get rid of bots entirely because of the revenue they produce each year. If you think eliminating botting completely would entice enough new memberships to replace that revenue for jagex, you're wrong. Jagex will manage bots to keep the player base happy enough that the player base feels like jagex listens when they talk. Sir, puggers videos are a prime example he exposes huge bot farms, but let's be real. Jagex already knows about them, but let's them bot just enough to make their bot farm profitable enough to continue making and buying memberships once they're banned. They'll essentially let a bot be profitable before banning, so the better has incentive to make another account and buy another membership. It's all a business they don't care about anything except bottom dollar. If you think im wrong, go download a free bot and run it 24/7. You'll be banned almost instantly. Now, do the same thing with a membership account. Your bot will last long enough to make a profit.
5:30 these "what if" scenarios are pretty fun but i was always curious about bosses fighting each other or being able to control a boss like jad and going around falador killing guards or whatever.
"How bad would the giant mole rampaging falador ACTUALLY be?" type videos would be fun. Maybe some ground rules: Non named npcs respawn infinitely. Named NPCs dont respond. "hero" type named npcs respawn based on their achievements, the more legendary the hero, the more they respawn. Could the NPC's of fally actually stop the giant mole?
The inferno is meant to be OSRS's hardest PvM challenge in the game. Botting/scripting it is just sad honestly, there's no accomplishment in it and you put your account at risk, like... just why?
90% of people wont say no to free money, blame humanity. And also blame jagex for not making a good anticheat, oh oopsies ! they can't because they are also making money out of it. Conclusion Jagex is not different from those botters, that's the sad reality, and that's why i stopped playing once i realized it longtime ago.
It’s true. My hypothesis is recognising that Vanilla RuneScape was about minimalistic clicking and short-term goal setting. With gaming communities going further into the higher-end content pool and developers combating drought in gameplay many of the average folk cannot keep up. As a result a larger reliance has been placed on people such as “scripters” to help alleviate the bridge that is continuing to wider the gap of the casual and hardcore fan. For the casual fan to not miss out they then buy scripts to level the field. Essentially it’s like black market pay to win. I think it’s just as much as a developer issue as it is a scripting issue
Seems like we’ve been hearing this “we are aware and working on the bot problem” for years now and still nothing has been done. Seems like Jagex has the most incompetent anti cheat team in the industry
God you brought back some old memories. Back in the days rs forums were we had all the communities. There was one for making up stories. One of those stories was about a high level player picking on low levels in the wildy, when he angered enough of them an army attacked him. Zeros everywhere but he would still be hit by ones enough. Eventually he was killed by an army of level 3s.
@@SirPugger Why has an inferno bot been so hard up until now? Is it because of the way that, if you don't path correctly very quickly, you can get hit by multiple combat styles in the same tick? We've seen packet manip and ppl perfect-flicking graardor, are there just too many qualitative decisions to make at once in the inferno for less advanced bots to be useable? For instance, triple jads and the zuk fight seem like super simple things to script compared to the earlier waves.
I may have found a bot farm on world 531, suspicious amount of no strength on runelite lookup players running past black salamander location. Please investigate if you can
This is exactly why the game has lost all of it's fun. Jagex just keeps coming with more and more time consuming and intense focus content, while bots farm those effortlessly. There's no reason to do anything, because it's not worth the time. There are still bots around with tons of boss/raids kc, which means if jagex doesn't care enough, why should I? Seasonal content is the only thing I tune in for nowadays.

Everyone was winning and their was no gp generated, the fact they banned it only shows how out of touch the dev team is considering of all the actual bots bringing in gp into the game.
Corporeal Beast has a rapid HP regen buff when there are more than (7?) accounts in the room at once. A 15 minute fight against 1000 accounts is to the boss' advantage.
I love how botters have stopped trying to emulate human play because that is what jagex is looking for, and has instead starting doing things that humans could never do and thus the likely hood of their being an active detective system for it... basically zelch... frekn genious.
My mate that has a bot acc got perm banned, somehow he was still able to appeal it and his appeal msg was "fuck you i will never stop botting" and it gpt unbanned lmao
I would say it is a much bigger problem that jagex decline appeals when appealed for botting when not using any bots. Happened to me and seen more people having same problem! No way to appeal it again when declined, such a bad system
Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my thoughts on the Inferno Bot in RuneScape, and I have to say, it's an absolute game-changer when it comes to obtaining the prestigious Infernal Cape. Here's why I think it's a fantastic idea: Accessibility for All Players: The Inferno minigame is notoriously challenging and requires exceptional skill and dedication to complete. However, not all players have the time or ability to invest in mastering the complex mechanics. With the Inferno Bot, even players who struggle with the minigame can have a chance to obtain the Infernal Cape and enjoy its benefits. It levels the playing field and allows more players to experience the content that was previously out of their reach. Time Efficiency: Completing the Inferno minigame manually can be an extremely time-consuming process. It often takes countless attempts and numerous hours of gameplay to succeed. The Inferno Bot provides a way to bypass the frustration and repetition by automating the process. This allows players to save time and focus on other aspects of the game or real-life commitments while still achieving their goal of obtaining the Infernal Cape. Economic Balance: The Infernal Cape is a highly sought-after item in RuneScape, often commanding a high price on the Grand Exchange. By introducing the Inferno Bot, the supply of Infernal Capes would increase, bringing down the prices and making it more affordable for players who previously couldn't afford one. This helps to maintain a healthier economic balance within the game and ensures that the cape is more accessible to a wider range of players. Reduced Frustration: Let's face it, the Inferno minigame can be incredibly frustrating. Countless failed attempts and the fear of losing valuable items can take a toll on players' enjoyment. The Inferno Bot eliminates the stress and anxiety associated with the minigame, allowing players to relax and focus on other enjoyable aspects of the game. It offers a way to experience the rewards and benefits of the Infernal Cape without the emotional toll of repeated failures. Player Retention: RuneScape is a vast game with a diverse player base. However, some players may become discouraged or lose interest due to the immense difficulty of certain challenges. By introducing the Inferno Bot, more players would be able to achieve their goals and experience the satisfaction of obtaining the Infernal Cape. This, in turn, would lead to increased player retention as more individuals stay engaged with the game, creating a healthier and more vibrant community. In conclusion, the Inferno Bot is a game-changer when it comes to obtaining the Infernal Cape in RuneScape. It makes the cape more accessible to players who struggle with the minigame, saves time, balances the game's economy, reduces frustration, and promotes player retention. It's a fantastic addition that opens up new possibilities for players and ensures that everyone has a chance to experience the rewards and benefits of the Infernal Cape. chatgpt btw

they're adding EP to BH. Its gonna get bot farmed. Your profit/hr shows how it WAS with just the tradeable shop stuff. Now you can generate EP and generate GP per kill, which means bot farms will be manipulating that 1000%.
also that inferno script is the most nothing footage ever. lots of very basic and almost pointless information displays (the tiles during triples? lol). And the mouse hovering on screen proves nothing.. they could record a recording without mouse, and then record them looking at that recording with their mouse on screen. Need less of these no proof bot scripts. its just clickbait nonsense.
The bots getting unbanned is actively annoying for me. My HCIM got false banned and jagex refused my appeal, yet actual OBVIOUS bots get unbanned 5 times?...
Someone worked hard on that Inferno bot. I wonder if they have an offline version that allows going to any wave immediately or if they just added a wave or two at a time and had the bot do the entire thing up until whatever wave was being tested every time.

Ive seen that its 200 usd for 6 hours for that inferno thing, pretty sure you can get capes for about 30usd now, botting it is actually more expensive if that price is true 😳
does jagex use any sort of xp per hour counter to determine cheating? I mean for that serum 207 example, I think the fastest humanly possible herb xp an hour is closer to like 900k. couldn't they just add 30% to that number and then auto ban anyone doing more than that? and if a new legitimate method is discovered, they could unban them.
I don't think they have anything like that. Rendi once showed a bug that allowed stalling and getting the xp reward from Tourist Trap multiple times and the account didn't get banned in the weeks following it gaining >10M exp in one tick. There's also a chance they could accidentally end up banning legitimate players when implementing a feature like that if they forget about some random thing like Brimhaven Agility Arena tickets where you can "store" a bunch of xp.
Commented on another video. I'm not sure if this would be too oppressive for the real players, but... why not put in an in game capcha "are you are robot?" Thing? Where you have to click the yellow bus. And only require this for certain mini games like LMS or lava caves etccc....
Tbh just an idea but if they added rewards to be able to use the untradeables outside the bh creaters got a certain amount of time before needing to be recharged with bh points it might keep the mini game alive

about the 3:24 yeah thats possible, i played one day some private server, got bored with it and wanted to get banned so i downloaded bot that somebody had made for the server. and one of the absurd scripts in that was the farming script. while the rsps had actual real time growth timer, this bot planted seed and instantly harvested said plant, even though it should been harvestable only after like 30 minutes. the script was clicking hidden harvest button to harvest the herbs instantly. ofc i kept dumping those to that servers ge for same price as seeds for herbs and just absolutely crashed the herblore costs. it helped that server auto turned those to notes. so hundreds of herbs in few minutes. kept doing it for 2 days! and didn't somehow get banned even though i was miles away in the farm lb of the server. switched to something that i knew was more botted, the script even warned me that it would get banned quickly and sure enough, ring of recoil buyer got banned just 5 minutes after it was running with reason: ring of recoil bot. nothing suspicous that the account had prestigated 50x in farming lb while 2nd had only prestigated 3x. and each time it prestigated the farm gave +1 drop. so each pick was 1 then 2 then 3 then 4 eventually 50x. hundreds of thousands herbs didn't get banned. but bought few ring of recoils? thats a ban.
bit late to the party but not as late as you, wasnt the lvl 3 rush done way back in 08? or at least thats when i started playing & had friends talking about it.

Jagex accounts have had their security system revamped. this includes passwords which accept uppercase letters as well as symbols.

I think I’ve seen the ChatGPT bot before.
Not at all defending mass bot farms, just an interesting thought exercise.
sounds like a flippingoldschool X Sir puggers collab
@@DarkDyllon
I don't think many people are eating 10 sharks a minute lol. But my whole point is that if sharks become more expensive some % of the people doing other activities (combat included) will switch to doing more fishing due to the increased profits, that or people will switch to a cheaper food source.
They updated bh before you were even able to upload. They are dropping crates with supplies in them now?
Jagex has incentive to not ban bots. They pay memberships. If they let them bot long enough to make a little cash before banning its incentive to keep making more accounts and buying more membership.
What about buying bonds with ingame currency? Wouldn't it be better for a botter to just buy loads of bonds instead?
@dziewiatkom bonds are still purchased with real money. The botter might not directly buy membership, but they are indirectly if they buy a bond. It's no different then asking a friend to buy you membership for a month and you'll just send them 5m in game.
@@tylerweatherbee9180 you can just grind a shit ton of igc, in game currency, gold, and buy a bond wtf are you saying? In what world would a conversation go “hey buddy, can you buy a bond for my account? It’s cool I’ll send you the cost for a bond with in game money, like 7-8m gold but can you just give me your card info or just log into my account and buy a bond please?”
That’s so pointless, bonds can be purchased with in game money, so lifetime membership can be held for forever once initially obtained with gold in game.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my thoughts on the Inferno Bot in RuneScape, and I have to say, it's an absolute game-changer when it comes to obtaining the prestigious Infernal Cape. Here's why I think it's a fantastic idea:
Accessibility for All Players: The Inferno minigame is notoriously challenging and requires exceptional skill and dedication to complete.
It's a fantastic addition that opens up new possibilities for players and ensures that everyone has a chance to experience the rewards and benefits of the Infernal Cape. chatgpt btw

about the 3:24 yeah thats possible, i played one day some private server, got bored with it and wanted to get banned so i downloaded bot that somebody had made for the server. and one of the absurd scripts in that was the farming script. while the rsps had actual real time growth timer, this bot planted seed and instantly harvested said plant, even though it should been harvestable only after like 30 minutes. the script was clicking hidden harvest button to harvest the herbs instantly. ofc i kept dumping those to that servers ge for same price as seeds for herbs and just absolutely crashed the herblore costs. it helped that server auto turned those to notes. so hundreds of herbs in few minutes. kept doing it for 2 days! and didn't somehow get banned even though i was miles away in the farm lb of the server. switched to something that i knew was more botted, the script even warned me that it would get banned quickly and sure enough, ring of recoil buyer got banned just 5 minutes after it was running with reason: ring of recoil bot. nothing suspicous that the account had prestigated 50x in farming lb while 2nd had only prestigated 3x. and each time it prestigated the farm gave +1 drop. so each pick was 1 then 2 then 3 then 4 eventually 50x. hundreds of thousands herbs didn't get banned. but bought few ring of recoils? thats a ban.
No idea if you'll read this but there's like bots in every world almost atm at the lesser demon in the wizards tower
bit late to the party but not as late as you, wasnt the lvl 3 rush done way back in 08? or at least thats when i started playing & had friends talking about it.
