Great vid. Question, please -- Did you ever have a gap form between the lower linkage and the rear triangle, on the drive side of the bike? (I have a Nomad 3.) When I screw in the pivot axel bolt into the rear triangle, the tab the bolt screws into is pushed away from the linkage - leaving a 1-2 mm gap. It super tight/flush on the non-drive / bolt insertion side. If so, any solutions to fixing it? Thanks!

No, I never experienced that. Is everything normal where the linkage connects to the main triangle? It almost sounds as if the linkage is offset relative to the rear triangle- too tight on the non-drive side and not tight enough on the drive side.

@@leonardnick6019 It seems to be normal at the main triangle connection. Even spacing on both side of the linkage. When the bolt is not tightened down the linkage sits evenly between the two mounting tabs of the rear triangle.

@@dancing8595 That is odd, I was going to suggest making sure all the bearings are fully pressed in, but it sounds like they must be. Not sure what could be going on there.

@@leonardnick6019 Yeah, they are. Thanks for responses. I did make a video at th-cam.com/video/eWV_OIuhvmQ/w-d-xo.html of the problem.

Hello nice movie. When you replace link bearings,do you replace frame side of bearings at the same time? If you have movie for that please post.
    Thanks

Chiketyan Yes, I replace all of the bearings at the same time. There are 8 bearings total- 4 in the lower link and 4 in the upper link. The 4 in the lower link and 2 of the bearings in the upper link are all the same size, so I didn’t show installing all of them, but the process is the same.

Hi LN Really nice tools you have made up there, what material did you MC them out of, is it Phosphur Bronze? Are you a machinist?

Thanks. I'm not a machinist by trade, but I can use a mill/lathe well enough to make simple parts like these. They are 360 brass.
