Amazing video! - I must say watching the KLM 744 parking close up on T3 really made my day!

Thanks! Same, it was probably one of the biggest highlights of the tour.

Lucky you!! That KLM 744 was breathtakingly filmed. Question: where exactly is the "bird's nest" for RWY 23?

Thanks! Hate that name lol, I'd rather call it the Parking Garage. It's just up the road from the Petro Canada.

This is a great video!! I have a quick question. Would you recommend the time 5-7pm or 6-8pm? Would the Emirates still be parked for the 5-7pm tour?

Thanks a lot! Both times work. And yes, 5-7pm Emirates would still be there.

omg I would so much want to do that......it must have given you a buzz on a tour like that. I think the tour is only for Canadians and not tourists so I won't be able to go on that tour :(-

Anyone regardless of nationality can come on the tour. All you need is a passport as an ID. Though it fills up very quickly so you need to book it months in advance.

I know this is an old video, BUT my dad knows the tour guide (ross) and the Driver (Doug). My dad worked in the tower (apron controller) at pearson. I did the tour back in 2014 and it was alot like this video (except I got to go into the fire station ;) )

I wouldn't say old, its still taken this year haha. Yeah, I know the tour guide too, his name is Russ actually, been working at Pearson for a while. I've run into Doug a few times too. Oh nice! Yeah, that's one place I still have to go to is the Apron Tower, I've already been in the main tower. And yes, this tour was the first one I've been on where the fire hall was avoided so we did the de-icing stuff instead.

Cool, Doug was my dads supervisor (i think) in the tower. I've seen pictures of inside the apron tower, it's pretty cool. My dad was the one who actually took me to pearson when i was 3 and got me into spotting/planes etc. He knew all the service roads etc so i got the up front experience.

Sorry to hear that, but sometimes, yes, different tours have different things at different times usually.
