Actually, this movie does not fully show the extent of torture by police who at one stage made the main accused have intercourse with his own mother in front of them. Waiting for part 3 jaby and achara. This movie is based on real events. Most of the actors were the people from the village who got imprisoned and tortured by the police officers without reason. The scenes in this film is 30% exact replica of what those people suffered. The real story is much worse than what we saw in this film. A well sensed human know that the brutality had done by some police for money and not for any religious outcast. It happened in the year of late 90’s where the communist people helped this poor to get the justice. Not even the RULING PARTY did. This movie based on true case conducted by the lawyer namely CHANDRU in the High court ,Madras, Tamilnadu,India. Later this lawyer elevated to the Madras High Court Judge and retired. The lawyer helped this poor woman without charging fees in this case.

Purely fictional, funny but then on the other hand, it does subtly unravel the role of religious farce that some exploit in our societies no matter what the religion is! Fun to watch as well as great deal to learn. I wish you could/can watch it with sub-titles.
