3 things - 1. 03:01 Its prohibited in Islam to k*ill the pows if they have surrendered. Not only that you cant torture them, have to feed them, clothe them the same things as you do. And this was introduced 1500 years ago by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) by the will of ALLAH SWT and this is why many historians call the Prophet (PBUH) the first human being to establish human rights for the POWs. 2. 08:57 Its absolutely prohibited for Muslims to marry idol worshippers. So if Akbar was Muslim and if this thing really happened then he committed a grievous sin. The man who was sent to Pilgrimage to Mecca.. Was Bairam Khan, actually the real ruler till the Akbar became abled.. To rule.. Actual story in short.. He was a recruit in Babar's army (grand father of Akbar) he became most trust worthy in Humayun's ( father of Akbar) and actually ruled and took imp decision for Mughals.. As Akbar was just 14 and crowned as Emperor when Humayun died unexpectedly.. And capital was taken over by Hindu king Hemu, later Mughals won back the region.. Bairam Khan did some wrongs under mis-under standings and Akbar was under bad influence of Maham-Anga who hated and feared Bairam Khan.. After a lot yes - no, here & there.. Akbar finally forgave him as Bairam Khan never meant harm to the Emperor or the Empire And Bairam Khan chose to go Mecca.. But later on the way.. He was killed by the Afghans.. So he never actually reached Mecca.
Jodha’s dilemma is apt. Muslims rulers haven’t been very liberal while ruling their non-muslim subjects. Many jowhars, rapes and murders have been comitted before the era of Akbar. Though Akbar was comparatively liberal than other mughal rulers, his rule was still very harsh on non-muslims!
The story is biased, Akbar was a good king compared to other Mughals, but he never looked like Hrithik.. The turko-mughal rulers rather looked like more chinese, the story of the film is very inaccurate from historical point of view (as these Mughal invaders were tyrants and mass-murderers), still the songs are very good , A R Rahman did magic ❤️

This movie is for entertainment purposes only. The most historically accurate thing about this is that the Rajputs loved to fight each other and their women would commit johar to not become "spoils of war". There was no unity among the Indian rulers, that's why conquerers (Indian or foreign) found it easy to conquer so much of the land
These Turkish and Uzbek invaders known as Mughals are the reason we lost from British and lost so many lives and wealth. Our Indian warriors and kings had to keep fighting these foreign invading monsters and did not get chance to work on innovation and technology. By the time British came we were so much behind. By the time we defeated Auragazeb the last Mughal, we were using swords against British modern guns.🇮🇳
In Islam idol worshipping is strictly prohibited . Jodha intentionally put that condition so that Jalal himself calls off the marriage . Nobody had the slightest idea that Jalal would agree to keep Shri Krishna's idol in his palace. Edit: according to some written documents Emperor Akbar with his Hindu queens used to celebrate hindu festivals like Holi , Deepavali . He often performed Yagnas ( Hindi holy rituals) . He was illiterate, but valued the knowledge of all the existing religions. 'Akbar' means ' the greatest' and so was he .
Actually mughals weren't the first ones to unite India. The term "Bharata" was used for the whole Indian Subcontinent during the vedic times mentioned in (RAMAYANA roughly 5000 BCE) It was also Mauryans under ASHOKA (304 - 232 BCE) spaning from afghanistan to mayanmar.

3 things -
1. 03:01 Its prohibited in Islam to k*ill the pows if they have surrendered.
And if we go by the historical accounts then Akbar was out of Islam for many things he did and ALLAH SWT knows best.
3. Its a pre m0di (pre fac*ist) India movie. so enjoy.

So he never actually reached Mecca.
the main theme and cultural aspects of this movie are going over your heads and we can tell lmao.
Such a big movie on Akbar but his biggest competitor Maharana Pratap is not even mentioned 😝 ..
