Hi mate, I am sure you figured this out by now, but you actually fitted the accelerator pump diaphragm upside down. The shaft faces outwards towards the pump actuating lever.
Hey Adam, yeah I did once I realised the lever was hanging and flopping around. Didn’t know how to rectify the error after having published the video. I’ll add it in the description so people are aware.
Thanks Legend. Hope you saw my note about the accelerator pump diaphragm and put it the right way around :) Good carbie and good one to do a rebuild on as it's fairly straight forward.
@@Adz093 i just heard they are pressed from other side at factory so they dont unscrew while driving.. someone grinds the screws flat and then they come off easier.. btw, where do i get only the screws? because i might do seal replacements only and dont need full rebuild kit
@ do you need to remove your screws? I left mine on as they were in ok condition and yeah it’s a pain to remove. I bought mine for my 40mm DCOEs from a Weber parts supplier in Melbourne. They have everything from the kits and carbs right down to individual bolts etc. Where are you located?
I believe so but it's hard for me to answer accurately. My A15 came with that weber on it already, so I don't have the baseline carbie to compare. I cleaned up the weber and rebuilt it in the video and since then it has revved harder and cleaner, is more responsive and feels stronger than pre rebuild. I also love the sound it makes when the second choke opens. I believe you could also play around more with the jets and chokes for a little more power. But not sure the numbers.

Did you verify the float level?
Thanks so much for video ... exactly what I needed .... subscribed 🤣

@@Adz093 yeah... Shyte happens to even the best of us 🤣🤣
@@tonymatthew9659 it sure does haha.
I have question... how do i get the screws off from throttle axles? They are so soft metal that they get shitted very easily =/
@@MrBanaanipommi yeah they are hard to not damage. I got new ones for the ones I damaged.

@@Adz093 im from finland, and i was about to tear my carb(s) fully down and replace the shaft bushings or even put bearings on them.
@@MrBanaanipommimust be somewhere around there or nearby with Weber parts.
Does the 32/36 weber make a difference in terms of performance?
