That Freedom Rack Smith Machine is cool. I've never seen one like that before. Such a common sense fix to make the Smith Machine better. Great Video Jay. Very helpful to those of us who want to try to copy your routine.
My son (13) and I love the videos Jay. He gets all excited when I tell him about the few times I talked to you at the old Golds gym (flamingo/sandhill). What supplements do you recommend for a 47yr old guy trying to get back into the gym since now my son wants me to hit the iron and teach him a little bit.
That's a cool smith machine that moves horizontally. The fixed kind I find dangerous for squats and deadlifts since it doesn't allow for much natural movement. Great video Jay!

Correct me if im wrong jay. But doing more than 12- 15 reps starts to burn fat and not build muscle as much right.
You want the weight to be heavy enough that getting 8 to 12 reps is close, if not to failure. That's ideal for building muscle.
