try setting controller to 30" and loop. this speed fit for up to 5 rings. also add a timer before planter for finetuning. this pretty much eliminate duplicating. you can suck potatos directly into ammo crates and make it a selfreloading setup.

Thank you very much for your useful videos! Noob question: What is the purpose of the underground wooden connection between the water tank and the farm? I'm also surprised to see that no tubes are required to transport the water. Why are there tubes in the game then? Just for decoration?
underground wood is used to allow you to connect the water container and gun via the wiring tool. Pipes can be used to transport items between things with green ports, which in some cases includes the water containers, but is usually for moving items from chests to your craft bot or from refine bots to storage. In this case it is easier to connect the water using a wiring tool but you are unable to do that with other storage devices like chests.
heh yeah i tried a piston setup myself when i saw your first video but forgot each diameter require its own timing. it will never run right with a piston shifting rings. way too unstabile and complicated if you need it to change timing while it moves

Maby you noticed blocks on the map sometimes are nearly completly in the groud and sometimes stick high out of the groud when you place them on the ground on different parts of the map. This is what causes your problem, so try to build it somewere else. Depending on where you build it you will need to have more ore less blocks under the sensor to fit the hight of the terrain.
Really hard to follow the connections (far too quick). Also, how on earth is it possible to connect the switch to 2 different objects. Never been able to do this in my own survival play through.
Great idea. Made a two circle one in my game. Took some fine tuning to get it to fire right and not waste seeds but it ended up working great. How do you set up those logic gates though, my pistons are slow using a controller
i dont think he use a controller for the stomper.. think he just trigger them on/off with a timer sequence. i use that for spud setup. fire every 0.125 seconds if triggered. raids last about 5 seconds average :) all spuds share same firing sequence and have a sensor and a logic attached. then it fire if sensor and fire mechanism is both active. no wasted ammo and no misses.

its a great farm but not ideal when the farm bot with guns comes in the raid. They won't get close to your farm instead they will be shooting at your farm constantly from distance
You can have a max crop value of 10 if you dont want raids. With 9 plots you can only use crops of value 1 (9x1=9 so less than 10) if you for example plant potatoes (9x1.5=13.5 so more than 10) there will be a raid. so if you want to use this farm for potatoes you will have to make it for only 6 blocks. i have an idea - with big farm, u should add some sliders to the crushing plate frame. Pistons are wobble, sliders could help a little bit (m\b a lot)

underground wood is used to allow you to connect the water container and gun via the wiring tool. For me I doesn't work, I have checked everything and it's all right but it try's to plant seeds only on plants and not on an empty plot.

I have an issue when i build the big farm : the Sensors get activated by some of the soil plots because the Ground is to unstable.

It no longer works, it does not plant when the sensor does not detect anything. I imagine problem with the NAND gate

You can have a max crop value of 10 if you dont want raids. With 9 plots you can only use crops of value 1 (9x1=9 so less than 10) if you for example plant potatoes (9x1.5=13.5 so more than 10) there will be a raid. so if you want to use this farm for potatoes you will have to make it for only 6 blocks.
