    Summary:
    1. Cold Showers (try to hit forhead)
    2. Limit bright/blue light exposure throughout day
    3. Intermittent Fasting (frequency being situational)
    4. Quality Sleep (blue light blockers before bed, blackout room, raise head of bed, don't use bright/blue lights if you get up)
    5. Gratitude
    Like so others can recap!

      Thank you!
Been doing all of these 5 things for 6 weeks, truly feel like a new person!
As an extension, I would like to add the following:
      1. Sauna + cold showers 3 times a week. And, a cold bath, for as long as you can, once a week.
      2. Prolonged fasting (48 to 72 hour fast, with salt water). Search Cole Robinson, Snake diet (don't be put off by his crazy style if talking).
      3. Get rid of coffee. Period.
      4. Apple cider vinegar, 2 tsp, im water, at least once a day. Curbs those goddamn sugar cravings.
      5. Eliminate sugar.
      6. Robin Sharma's morning routine. ( google it! 😊)
      7. Wake up and sleep at same time, if possible.
      8. Visualize your goals being achieved and feel grateful for them NOW, rather than feeling shite about not having them now.
      9. Do something to push you out of your comfort zone.
      10. Detox from your phone. Do some intermittent fasting with your phone/social media. I dont touch my social media until 5 to 7pm everyday.
      11. Exercise... like, go for a walk... even if its raining.
I know, obvious info... but these things really helped me. And I learnt about these things from watching tons of TH-cam videos. I just thought I'd save you the time. Hope that helps. Please add more below! 😊👍

Mr Andrew K Fletcher is the British man who DISCOVERED INCLINED BED THERAPY...He has many interviews here on youtube and deserves full credit for his great work...his story is fascinating of how he has been trying to get this information out via the education and health systems..he explains how he discovered the benefits of inclining your bed, his experiments and what he learned and he is full of anecdotal testimonies..he is a hero and deserves to be credited.

My STRONG suggestions: 1. daily light/sound electronic meditation sessions (ala Kasina device) for a reset of the parasympathetic nervous system. 2. liposomal vit C. 3. Vit D: cod liver oil 4. daily journal: (Ive kept one since 10 years old) start each day w a fresh sheet: capture key points from the day before, and next day w overlist list of ideas for the day: w additional pages 'further' ... etc. 5. daily neti-pot nasal irrigation w salt/sodium bicarbonate packets : clears out congestion and enables clearest breathing 6. sesame oil nasal drops 7. dark cherry syrup in hot water before sleep: ala Apothecherrry: stimulates natural melatonin for deep sleep and also helps to removes uric acid from the body/joints. 8. carnivore diet: healthy beef! 9. CBD in various ways. 10. yoga, excercise. KEY: "inhale gratitude, exhale compassion"

Now Dave Assprey sounds extremely effeminate and looks like he is a cancer patient. Speaking of cancer, Intake of exogenous amounts of estrogen from these pregnant bovine animals increases your risk of prostate, colerectal, breast tissue cancers plus more!

I dig the part of raising the bed... I did this with a big pillow under my mattress so it wasn’t too extreme, before seeing this video, but bricks under the frame would probably effect more than just my upper torso. And be more even for my joints.
This is similar to the belief that (depending on which pole, north or south, you live closest to) if you sleep with your head pointing in that direction, the magnetism of that pole will pull the iron in your blood to a degree in the direction of your head... that would make it harder for the brain to “drain” as Asprey is putting it - but sleeping with your head towards the pole (or towards north for most people) is commonly associated with worse sleep and bad dreams.

Take a cold shower, and limit light basically. Try the habits and see what happens before you go say anything. Having followed Dave since his first days of the bulletproof podcast I feel I've seen his transformation..all has been good. But I saw a extremely well lit vid and the corner of his eye lids have turned a bruised looking color. I asked about it mostly because I've notice a bit of the same out of my left eye..now this lighting may be the issue and I hope it is. I love everything Dave has done/shared but his mannerism, vibe, speech or something has been off. And now that I'm seeing a lot of comments aware of the same. I just want to send him prayers he's all good. Y'all should do the same and have some more empathy.

Based on our sleep cycles, theyve determine the best amount of time to sleep is....7.5 hours. 8 hours risks you diving into the next deep phase and thus being groggy. And then the next best time is 9 hours. But thats the limit. Never sleep more than 9.

Plz do more research about what intermittent fasting is and what can break a fast. Also, be more specific about the timing of eating/fasting. "Skipping breakfast" does not mean you are intermittent fasting. Especially if you consome bulletproof coffee during your fast. Actually, bulletproof coffee is one of the most efficient foods to break a fast if you replace your first meal with it. It will make you feel full but keep your body is a closer state of ketosis due to lack of carbohydrates. Thomas Delour is a youtuber who talks about fasting and ketosis. I would stop by his channel and watch a few videos. They're super insightful with credible sources and science to demonstrate how the body functions during everything. Otherwise, thanks for sharing! Wow, the comments are really funny! Let's mention CONTEXT. How many have kids? A wife? (or husband?) A LIFE? A true leader makes himself vulnerable. If this isn't the definition of vulnerability then tell me what is; he's got the power to delete this and all the funny comments but here we are. All of your comments just confirmed that I'm following just another dude, another mensch; which means I can relate to him. Learn what one can, discard the rest. Hasn't your mommy taught you not to judge a book by its cover? Ha! Cheers. Keep rolling, Dave!

    • @realnoid
      @realnoid 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Robert Joost, you got it right. Deliberate vulnerability is what he’s doing. In an earlier video he talks about being annoyed at his kids elementary school teachers talking in high pitched voices. He learned they were doing it deliberately. Just like Asprey is doing here. Would I do it if I had my company and sales on the line? Maybe, if I had that much confidence in myself & my product. That level of reality manipulation is beyond me.

So many things. I'm going to start with just skipping breakfast and using the coffee to see how that works for me. Actually, just today I learned about the grass-fed butter and coffee. I can add other things later.

Butter isn't grass fed, the animal is. Grass fed only makes a tiny difference if you're eating the actual meat. The fat is the exact same. It's carcinogenic animal fat and cholestoral. All causes health issues and chronic disease.
