Been using summit climbers for the past few years. Flip the backpack straps around, makes a world of difference. I also add stabilizer straps to connect the top section to the bottom
Because we know for a FACT Summit can't do a modern TH-cam marketing video...Dear me great stands but their Marketing division needs help and brought up to date
gotta love summit. i bought a viper SD last year and used it all 2021 season and i absolutely love it. super comfortable i could sit all day. might have to grab me one of these too 😂
Love The improvements they made, I'm a big fan of the Summit Viper, but.... (oh no!!) Back in 2009, I was in my Summit viper when I heard clicking & clanking in my woods- no one but me should have been in there, I climbed down & walked towards the noise which I could here getting louder- a trespasser was in another summit viper & was running away, he left his stand at the base of the tree, didn't have time to remove before I got there, now it's mine. The point is, I was 170 yards away & my hearing isn't great, I heard him climbing in his stand & he heard me climbing down in mine. I know improvements have been made, dead metal, it's the steel cables moving inside the tubes & tubular aluminum scraping on the bark. I went to the Lone Wolf Sit & Climb - expensive, but trust me, it's a game changer- in my humble opinion, it's all I use now. I still like the summit viper, still a great climber for evening hunts, I put in an aftermarket "hazemore" hammock style seat on all my climbers. XOP makes a knock off of the Lone Wolf, for half the price, It's almost as good, Lone Wolf is better. Great review brother, good luck this season!
Hey Underdog Outdoors! Thanks for the information! I remember you talking about this on one of my Summit Viper SD videos! I guess if you had to have a trespasser on your property, getting a Summit Viper out of the deal is a nice outcome. I’ll have to check out a Lone Wolf. They are definitely on my list to look into. Thanks again and best of luck this season 👍🏻
That stand is super nice! I bought a normal summit viper SD last year, but this one is even nicer! I love the features they added! Good luck hunting this year! 👍
Hey cmill28! Good to hear from you! I love the Viper SD and have used it for years myself 👍🏻 Summit really stepped up their game with the Viper Pro. Best of luck this season!
where I hunt, the summit self climber i use has to be packed in miles at a time, So i pack as light as possible, Usually set the stand up the previous day, then use it the following day. I dont need all the accessories.
I have a summit viper that has to be 20years old and still use it today. I want to order those climbing stirrups, seems a lot easier. Mine has a strap that can be a pain to get feet in and out with big rubber boots on. There all aluminum so other then replacing seat and cables should last forever right? What I like is I wanna say I paid $300 for it 20 years ago brand new and that's about what they go for today, counting inflation or whatnot they newer ones have gone down in price over the years or atleast stayed the same. Recently got a saddle setup but can't bring myself to get rid of the climber .
Hey Chad, thanks for checking out my channel! Summits are the best! Yeah the rapidclimb stirrups are a nice feature. They definitely help with the climb. Thanks for your input and best of luck this season 👍🏻
Hey Emanuel, thanks for checking out my channel! Check this video out and let me know if you have any questions th-cam.com/video/FWR5P0-9w6g/w-d-xo.html
I just ordered this stand. I usually hunt from the ground, I want to have this as an option. The whole "clamp into place to strengthen welds" is a load of crap and that weld looked like it had too much heat. Pretty much all manufacturers use fixturing to reduce distortion during the weld process. Thanks for the info! I subscribed
Hey Brian, thanks for checking out my channel! The Pro SD is super comfortable. Plus it’s nice having those FasTrack accessories! Which Lone Wolf have you used?
Love everything EXCEPT the phone holder. Do you hear how LOUD, it is when adjusted? Not very well thought out by Summit. Deer could hear that hundreds of yards...
I own a summit climber. I disagree with the fact that it climbs quietly. I could hear you climbing. But it is very comfortable. But bulky to carry unless you're a bigger guy.
Hey Erik! If you nest the stand together like I do in the following video, it actually creates a comfortable cushion for your lower back. Thanks for watching 👍🏻 th-cam.com/video/5Ti7HuXUK90/w-d-xo.html

Hey The great outdoors! Absolutely! I’m a huge fan of Summit too and am pumped to see what they’re coming out with next. 👍🏻
Great video. I really like the fast track features. Seems like a game changer on an already epic climbing stand
Hey thanks for the positive feedback Zach! I agree 100%. Best of luck this season 👍🏻

Hey CorE, what a great gift! You’re going to love it! Best of luck this season 👍🏻

Hey Doe Whisperer, thanks so much for subscribing and for the feedback! Best of luck this season 👍🏻
Sitting in my pro sd this morning for the first time. Love the comfort hate the weight compared to lone wolf lol
Hey Brian, thanks for checking out my channel! The Pro SD is super comfortable. Plus it’s nice having those FasTrack accessories! Which Lone Wolf have you used?
@@mountainbuck the sit and climb 2. This new seat is better than the original viper as I think
@@briancheatham2436 ok thanks. I’ll have to check it out
Does the fastrack rail go all the way around
Hey thanks for watching! It’s available in the front and on the sides as well. Best of luck this season 🦌👍🏻
Can you keep the books and gun holder accessories on all the time or do they have to come off every time you pack it up?
Hey Brian! Thanks for checking out my channel! I take them off. I’m not sure if the stand would nest properly if you left them on (haven’t tried it).
That thing is rattling and clanking all the way up the tree !
Hey Joe Schmo! Thanks for checking out my channel. Ha… I’m guessing you’re a lone wolf guy.
Looks good.ive used a summit for 20 + years.would never use anything else.no other stand comes close.
Hey ninja Godzilla, thanks for checking out my channel! Summit is the best! Best of luck this season 👍🏻
Love everything EXCEPT the phone holder. Do you hear how LOUD, it is when adjusted? Not very well thought out by Summit. Deer could hear that hundreds of yards...
Hey thanks for watching! Yeah I make it a point not to mess with it once in place. Best of luck out there! 🦌👍🏻

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I should focus more of climbing quietly in these videos. So much to think about haha. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
The back looks very uncomfortable with the bars in the lower back.

Too bad these don't work on the goliath. Wish they mentioned that before I bought them 🙅♂️
Hey Bulldog! I’m hoping they come out with the PRO series for the Goliath sometime soon. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
You forgot your bow
So, you can watch Netflix while hunting while keeping your hands free to shoot 🤣🤣🤣
Haha exactly 🤣🤣
Easier to sit on the shooting rail and lift your bottom plate rather than using all arms and abs that’s just me tho
You are 100% correct haha. Thanks for watching 🦌👍🏻
