Is goggle eye the actual name of the fish? I always tell people we catch tons of goggle eye and they have no idea what I’m talking about

That’s what we call them in the Ozarks! Also called rock bass but if you look them up on the MO conservation site they are listed as Goggle Eye first, then (Rock Bass) and finally Warmouth. I have never heard them referred to as Warmouth around here.
