These are just like the fried pies my grandma used to make! 🤗 Thank you so much for sharing this delicious treat! And the stroll down memory lane. Now, I can share it with my grandchildren. ❤
Grandmother always made me fresh fried pies, peach are my favorite fresh from her trees, then lemon and apple,, so good,, Thank you Kathy but there is no too big of a fried pie 🥰 OMG I see that book with Dothan on it, my hometown, born and raised, Go Tigers! we won't even talk about the changes..
omg, you sure created a lot of work for me!! I tried your recipe and my hubby LOVES them!! He now needs to have one for breakfast EVERY DAY!! LOL!!! they are delicious for sure, but now I'm frying pies every other day ha ha.
NOTICE!!! Never never try opening them on your husbands head. It doesn’t work and will instantly infuriate him. This is a proven fact. Years later it’s funny. Yea I’m the husband 62 years later and still married to her. She uses the counter top since then. Good thing she was a fast runner.
For those that don't want to eat all the oil from deep frying, these can also be baked in the oven for the same amount of time that are on the biscuit dough instructions. These are also great from the air fryer.
Am so glad I watch this cause I was thinking to do this after watching many videos on how to🤔 this one does it for me thanks for sharing I know what am going to do now 👍🤣 This Way🤣👍!
I heard you mention the air fryer but I wasn’t clear what I heard about when you used it. I was wondering if instead of frying in oil, if you could just use air fryer

Mom always made Dad chocolate pies, Bless His Heart ❤️

I've never tried these in an air fryer. I may do that soon!
Can you prep them, fry them, freeze them, and then heat them either in microwave or air fryer?
Sure!
Prepared dough, biscuits are High in sodium toomsalty ,not good for hbp
My Grandma made fried banana pies.
Absolutely delicious
Yum! Sweet memories ❤️
I can't get them rolled out thin enough. They draw up on me and end up being too thick.
Let them sit out a few minutes to get the chill off before rolling them
Could you use a tortilla press ??
I’m not sure about that. If you try it out let me know how it works out for you.
3:40 can I bake them. ?
You definitely can. But they’re going to have a different texture and taste. The oil does make a difference
