When people just randomly make these videos, they have no clue that they are helping single moms, young families, teens, the elderly, the bored, the willing to learn, so thank you. Love it!
Made these with my 8- & 6 -year-old grandchildren. They wanted to add shredded sweet coconut to our filling. We made topping with cream cheese, powdered sugar (no butter) and a bit of French Vanilla coffee creamer. . They were AMAZING!!!
Just gotta do what you gotta do. 😁. You should check out my video of me making my homemade cinnamon rolls. It kind of ties into this one and explains alot more. Thanks for watching 😊
I like how you admit being impatient, distracted, burning or cutting yourself. I do all these things but I can still throw down in the kitchen when I want to! ❤️ My husband has passed and my kids are grown so this is less and less but every so often I get the urge.
I absolutely love that your husband asks you to make things! My husband is the same. The looks of love when they get their requests 😉 These were delicious! Thank you!
I tried this recipe, it's absolutely delicious. This recipe is definitely going down in my recipe book and being passed down to other family members and friends. I used 1/2 pkg cream cheese, a little whole cream, 2 pk stevia and 1 T. honey and a tsp of vanilla for sweetening for the icing. And I used almost a whole stick of real butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and some pumpkin pie spice on the filling in the rolls. Half cinnamon and half pumpkin pie spice 😋 so, when I sliced them up, they were about half and half with the filling. And I ended up with about 16 rolls just like you did. I used the Pillsbury Grands biscuits, and real butter and let me tell you they melted in my mouth. I served them to friends and family with coffee and they were a hit! Many of my guests really liked the pumpkin pie spice flavored rolls with their coffee ☕ 😃
@Barbara Kamis when your husband sees an idea on Pinteresnt that he wants you to try and asks you nicely, it's ok to oblige because you love him. That's exactly what I did. It's called a labor of love. Thanks for watching
@@keeperofthehomeat4dfarms I think she was addressing the above comment, but I understand your perspective as well as I would do the same for my husband.

I just pull the rolls apart, halfway down, spread the filling on the bottoms, put the tops back on, bake, then cover in icing. Learned this from a local restaurant here in southeast VA, called Bubba's! So much quicker and easier.

Be very careful using sugar substitutes some use high frutose corn syrup, some say zero sugar but have sugar alcohols which is worse than plain cane sugar.

@@keeperofthehomeat4dfarms This recipe looks really simple. I don't always have the energy to do everything from scratch. I live on a farm, also, so lots of work. I am in a wheelchair after an auto accident. I like to have something for my neighbors when they stop by.
Pretty clever. I don't like baking much, this will help. Thanks. The only thing I always do that is different is that I never ever open the oven when I bake because the air that goes in when open the door can deflate or flatten what is baking, I always turn light on to peak.
Actually this was not our home. We were out of town at the time this video was made. Hence, the reason for not having a rolling pin. My oven at home has an oven light. I explain more in the details in the description box below the video. Thanks for watching ☺️
We need waaay more videos from you!! I so enjoyed this…totally never considered using biscuits! I make them from scratch but when we’re in our camper these would be soooo much easier! Thank you for this!

5 spice middle eastern spice has corriander- Asian 5 spice, crystalized ginger, dried fruits like figs, dates, currants, cherries, cranberries. Sugared fruits like oranges, lemons. Sweetners- Nutella, nut butters, simple syrups reduced using liquors such as Fangelica, brandies, and even rum. Natural sweeteners- Succanant, Monk fruit, Agave, Honey, Blackstrap molasses,Maple syrup and there are sugar free options. Fresh fruits and canned pie fillings- jams. Nuts- pitaschios, and pine nuts, of course pecans, walnuts, macadamia, hazelnuts etc.
I use the crescent rolls and you don’t have to roll out or pinch them together. I always spread soft butter no matter which flavor I use. For cinnamon rolls I use less sugar and cinnamon, sometimes add nuts or raisins. I also spoon my favorite jam or marmalade like either boysenberry or blood orange marmalade. I also will use mini chocolate chips…don’t forget the butter…makes everything better.
Is it possible to take the 8 raw biscuits and combine them together, then roll out as one rectangle like regular cinnamon rolls? (Faster and nice to have all one piece.)
I tried that one time but the biscuits are not like regular dough made with flour. The texture and layers of the biscuits keep them from combining together for some reason. If you try them that way, please let me know how they turn out for you. Thanks for watching
@Judy Vallas I hope they turn out delicious. I also noticed if I wet my fingertips, they held together good when pinching the seams together. Just wet fingertips slightly enough to make the seams stick better. Hope this helps and they turn out delicious.

This looks like a good recipe for those who do not have experience in baking. I have only used cheap canned biscuits to make donuts for my kids when they were growing up. They were 10 cents a can back in the old days. I happened to notice them at the grocery last week and was shocked at the price!!
Yes, things have gone up over the years especially the last few months. I will also buy flaky layer biscuits when they go on sale and bring them home and open each one and flash freeze them. Then I will repackage them into a ziploc bag and then just get out what I want to thaw a little and then bake only what I need. Saves money. Ok. So I’ve been reading comments and watched both videos of yours and subscribed instantly. But I’m a bit off put at how you go back and forth with the people with negative comments but yet you say that the naysayers don’t bother you. That leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I would suggest that you do the same. If you don’t like a comment people say to you, just keep scrolling or just simply thank them for watching. You seem like you’re doing a lot of tit for tat. Just like you correcting the spelling in Gladys’ comment. I’ve read a lot of your comments where you misspelled words as well. If you want your channel to continue to grow, you’ll have to honestly do as you say and not let the naysayers get to you. Just my advice to you. Nonetheless, I’ve enjoyed both videos but your comment responses don’t match your sweet disposition you display in your videos. Keep up that part, and you’ll be fine, I’m sure. Blessings!
Just another hint, slice the rolls thinner and lay them on your rollin board, roll them together and make a pie crust. this can be used for Apple, cherry, Strawberry Rhubarb, and Pecan Pies. The flavors are what ever your personal taste and needs are. Yum, Yum Yum.

@Anne Van Sickle no mam. When cooking or baking with Brown sugar and butter, they crystallize and caramelize. When you add a dark color spice to that, it gets even darker and discolors what ever it is cooked or baked with. The biscuits were perfectly baked not burned.
I am so glad you had such good success. You can always tweek it and play around with it. Good job

I just pull the rolls apart, halfway down, spread the filling on the bottoms, put the tops back on, bake, then cover in icing. Learned this from a local restaurant here in southeast VA, called Bubba's! So much quicker and easier.
I like that swirl effect though. That way you're getting ewwy gooey goodness through the whole thing. Thanks for watching all the way from VA.

Be very careful using sugar substitutes some use high frutose corn syrup, some say zero sugar but have sugar alcohols which is worse than plain cane sugar.

@@ladyann1952 well, when your husband sees it and wants you to try it, you usually do because you love them. Thanks for watching 😊
Thanks for the ideas.
Great! I need to try these!
@Judy Vallas I hope they turn out delicious. I also noticed if I wet my fingertips, they held together good when pinching the seams together. Just wet fingertips slightly enough to make the seams stick better. Hope this helps and they turn out delicious.

Lol loved your rolling pin I used a tall glass to make tortillas for years till I upgraded to a pvc pipe that I still use till this day lol
That IA a great idea. I usually make mine from scratch and have all my essentials but we were not at home at the time this video was made so I had to use what I could find. Any thing I make that says spread whatever on it, I use a spoon and use the back of it. Works great. I've tried off set spatulas, and regular butter knives. But for better coverage just use the back of a spoon. Keep up the great ideas.
Oh yes, that works like a charm. Thanks for watching 😊
Your presentation today was awesome. I sometimes just often spread butter on top of the biscuts sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mixture on top. After it is done put frosting on and go to town. They are delicious as well. Keep up the good work. I loved your presentation. Thumbs up.😁

Watching this was inspiring. I’m thinking 2 cans. Also when rolling them out I bet setting them up next to each other then roll them out that way they form together better and seemlessly. And I noticed they wanted to unroll them selfs. So I will try a lil moisture to seal the edges. Thank you
Thank you. Let me know how they work out for you. Thanks for watching
To keep your pastry/cutting board from shifting around, place a damp dish cloth onto the counter top then place your pastry board on top and shouldn’t shiftaround
Thanks for the tip. Thanks for watching
I use dark brown sugar in my baking. It gives everything a deeper, richer flavor. Especially my cranberry orange cookies! And if I’m making anything with nuts I always toast them first.
Sometimes I grab dark brown sugar too. Thanks for watching 😊
Add a tablespoon to a pitcher of tea. Amazing.
Great suggestions! I do the brown sugar thing also. Using maple flavoring instead of vanilla is also good.
Mmmmmm! Cranberry orange! And I looove cookies! Toasting the nuts first sounds yummy I'm going to do that the next time! Thanks!
Used to, I would’ve used molasses and vanilla. 🤤😋
This is the first time ever seeiyyou.
But you brought back memories. Only I made the dough myself. You made these for my husband. He loves my rolls, so now I can make these more often than before.
You made it really easy for me to make them more often. He's going to love these. Sliced apples, sliced almonds ,pecans, walnuts raisins just a variety of things you can add on to make his day. Lol ok thanks to you
You are very welcome and I hope he enjoys everyone. Thanks for watching 😊
Girl…I haven’t tried the cinnamon rolls yet, been trying to find an easy recipe, but I’m going too. I just wanted to tell you that you’re a scream lol. Love your recipe, your ideas, humor, and your voice. May God keep you all safe and from harm. I’ll let you know when I try them. Take care!
Thank you and God Bless. Thanks for watching 😊
Well, I just found you and have subscribed! These look amazing and I cannot wait to make them! I love something sweet at night too! Gotta love your laugh and your sound effects! For me I love either apply pie spice or pumpkin spice. There is also Asian cinnamon and my favorite Vietnamese cinnamon which is the strongest....and I love raisins in my cinnamon roll too....
Thank you and thanks for the tips. Thanks for watching
Looks burned on the bottom
@Anne Van Sickle no mam. When cooking or baking with Brown sugar and butter, they crystallize and caramelize. When you add a dark color spice to that, it gets even darker and discolors what ever it is cooked or baked with. The biscuits were perfectly baked not burned. It did however give them a candy crunch that was yummy. If they had been burnt my husband and I would not have ate on them for three days.
Thanks for watching. 😊
Yummy, simple and delicious. Thanks for sharing.

I LOVED the way you made those Cinnamon Rolls that was totally awesome. Thank YOU bigly as they say. This is the first time I have seen one of your video's and girl you got it going on for sure. You are quite the character and had me laughing quite a few times. I love that southern drawl and the kind ways you spoke. When I was a very young girl about 4 years old my dad was in the military and was transferred to Georgia and well I picked up that southern twang and still to this day it still comes out and up north here they look at me so funny and say: where did that come from? Well I just say: that was when I was a "Georgia Peach" LOLOL

They look delicious. I’m going to try them with maple syrup and raisins, and pecans. Thanks for the recipe.
Oh my gosh that sounds good let me know how they turn out. Thanks for watching
Would you add the raisins and pecans on top of the butter or brown sugar with the spices or top before you back them??
@Aviana Hindman you can add them on top of the brown sugar and cinnamon. Thanks for watching
IAM a 76 senior and cooking, baking is a Hassel for me. Your idea of using canned biscuits is easy peady. Thanks😀

I let mine cool a bit so the icing doesn't melt and run away. Also parchment paper would prevent the burning of the filling on the bottom of pan
Thanks for the tip. Thanks for watching
If you wipe of butter stick paper and let dry works great

@@keeperofthehomeat4dfarms Thank you i will. I have an old recipe for home made cinnamon rolls that I use. But I will check yours out.
I remember my mother would make these huge cinnamon rolls, best in the world. We didn't get them often,I guess that's what made them so good.
I know what you mean. There is nothing like good childhood memories. Thanks for watching
Ive made these using crescent rolls too. Added chopped pecans.
@@sandyclark9233 sounds good. Thanks for watching 😊
My grandmother would make a roll similar to this. She would then butter the dish and load it with brown sugar and chopped pecans, add the rolls and flip the while thing after baking. What would happen if I put the cream cheese mixture in the roll ... 🤔
I need a few ingredients and I will have these for dessert tonight!
I bet orange zest would be great in the topping. Yum 😋
That sounds good. Thanks for watching
