Great idea! I love dill but have never put relish in my egg mixture (yep, a northerner 😆). As if that’s not enough of an insult, I’m also a vegetarian so no bacon in mine. But I am definitely looking for the Chik-Fil-A sauce. 👍
Yum! I love Deviled Eggs (Angel Eggs) any way they are prepared 💖 Everyone has a "secret" to how to peel boiled eggs.... here's my no fail way: Like you said .... week old eggs (not too fresh) put in pan, cover with cold water, bring to full rolling boil, cover with lid, turn burner to low simmer for 12 minutes. After 12 minutes rinse with cool water and cover eggs with ice cubes for another 12 minutes. I didn't invent that technique but somehow it works for me.
Just a thought from deviled eggs I made at Easter. I bought pasture raised eggs. The yolks were orange and a bit of a different texture. I would use pasture raised for everyday use, but buy regular for deviled eggs.
Dukes Mayo and French’s mustard is what’s used in the south and no Chick Fil A products. Salt, pepper and sprinkled with paprika. No need for hand mixer.
I add Duke's mayo, yellow mustard, white vinegar salt/pepper and dill pickles then paprika as the final touch. Just love the ole southern fashioned eggs 🥚...i have been seeing people change the mustard to djon and other types of mustard based but idk. I wouldn't mind trying it first b4 i make a whole bunch of them 4 myself or family.
I will do the traditional kind and these on Thanksgiving. Then ill find out which ones my family likes best. They all love chick fila. And dill pickles. And bacon. But some have said mama don't put no pickles in those eggs. Bc i love pickles in mine. And i did ask them once b4. B4 i made them for Thanksgiving or Christmas or some occasion we were having. If you do buy super fresh eggs, just put them in your instant pot on a trivet and pressure cook just 5 mins … then quick release and the shells FALL OFF 🐣😃
Why not go ahead and prepare your eggs and put a toothpick in each one (there are even cute seasonal toothpicks out there)? That way you can cover your eggs with plastic wrap and not have a mess and then everyone has a toothpick to pick the egg up and put it on their plate. Love your recipes. Also love how you coordinate your outfit to what you are preparing 😊
I actually do that when they’re in the fridge. But if I’m traveling with them, I find it easier to bring my serving tray and put them together right before we eat❤️
I really had a lot of respect for Mr Cathy because he stood firm on Bible but after he died his kids not so much. Their company has a DEI department. Enough said. I have not been to a Chic fil A since I found out. When you bow to the world you are not getting the money God provides to me.
I made these at Easter and they were killer! Then for a party I was asked to make egg salad sandwiches… I used a piece of crunchy bacon on each one !OMG! Everybody went crazy! Thanks so much for this recipe!

Try using a teaspoon of dried dill weed instead of the pickles. It gives the filling a soft creamy texture instead of the lumpy chunks of pickles.

If you set your eggs into boiling water ( I use a slotted spoon), cook for 13 minutes… put strait into an ice bath.. your eggs will not stick.
