Elden Ring - MAX LVL Nagakiba vs All Required Bosses (NG+7)

- A bit of a longer video this time. Using Nagakiba against all required Elden Ring bosses at NG+7 max level 713 (including Radahn and a bonus Mohg fight).
Let me know if you enjoyed, and let me know what other weapons you want to see in a video like this.
I'm a bit rusty with some of these fights. While I've had time in the arena with all of them, I've only deliberately practiced Margit and Morgott, and some Maliketh, so this video definitely helped me get a bit better / used to some timings and positions.
Stats / items showed at the end of the video. Using mouse and keyboard, because that's how I play these games.
When I was playing DS3 I liked to watch TH-camr @DSelizabeth 's videos for using a specific weapon against all bosses, and have wanted to do a similar thing for Elden Ring for a while, so here it is! Also check out their channel, great DS3 videos, and many for other souls games as well including Elden Ring.

@@protivnyykotOptimized builds do so much DMG that it's more of a treat for bosses to have so much health. Only issue in NG+7 is how much DMG the bosses do, which doesn't matter if u don't get hit :)
@@temphy Yep, exactly, you can definitely deal a lot more damage to these bosses in NG+7 if you wanted to, but yes they deal a ton of damage themselves, especially the end game bosses

Also, not sure if this was on purpose, but at 28:54 doing Golden Vow so its visual effect is in the center of that epic Golden Order looking attack from the Elden Beast was so cool. Immaculate timing and very well thought out
Ha, glad you noticed! It was intentional. I like to look at the visuals, scenery, and everything else the game provides, and there's nothing to do during that wind up anyway. Good time to buff and enjoy the view. Glad you enjoyed!

Wow, that was a joy to watch. I was killed mercilessly many times by all and rage quit so many times, used mimic tears and others to aid me. Thank you for a video like this that proves with patience and understanding every bosses attacks and when to roll or dodge. I might take another crack at it again. 🙏
Glad you enjoyed! And absolutely, it's all about practice. My reaction speed in games isn't even that great, but that's what is cool about the souls games. Every boss teaches you something different about how to play, and getting better involves learning where to position yourself and what attacks you can expect based on that. The rest is all timings. @@para-noxis Yes! Absolutely. And I also didn't use jumping to dodge much at all during my first playthrough.
It can be really good for a few reasons, you have the stamina as you mentioned, and you can follow up with a jumping attack for good poise damage. The third and best benefit of jumping to dodge is actually the s that it gives you. While you don't have full body s, your lower half does, and it is much longer than what a roll provides. For Hoarah Loux's giant slam, for example, jumping it could be easier because of these extra frames.
Something even more interesting is that your arm hitboxes can be reduced by holding a greatsword two handed. This is pretty niche, but as an example, doing this makes it possible to jump over Malenia's first waterfowl flurry while running away, even on medium roll. If you one hand the greatsword, or hold something else that lowers your arms, this strat does not work. There's a really good video from Zullie The Witch titled "How safe is jumping?" that goes into this if you're interested
@@para-noxis Glad to hear it! And yes if you're looking to learn bosses there are tons of great resources online of course. I recommend Gino who you've probably heard of, and Jordien, who has a video showcasing all remembrances at RL1 +0 with text on screen explaining what is going on, very helpful

Thanks! The only answer here is that I wasn't really trying to maximize damage. I also could've gotten a lot more by using blue dancer and red feather. But you probably would get more damage by putting another affinity on for sure

Its very hard to see any player jumping attacks to avoid damage ! You are beyond most pro player sir.
Glad you enjoyed! Sometimes jumping boss attacks can be for fun, but jumping can also be a very useful way to dodge because it allows for good punishes and has longer s (only lower body) than a roll
Do Ranking every texture file against every boss no hit run
At that level do you use quality in your afinity?
I actually wasn't using any in this video, the damage could be a lot higher with better buffs / affinities.
At max level cold is the best AR (attack rating) wise, but you might want to switch it up depending on the boss. If they have higher frostbite resistance, maybe another affinity would be better

All purely for drip, probably makes the game harder because the cloak, when altered, gives you Shabriri's Woe which attracts enemies

Hey I'm currently playing at ng+6 and level 494. I just can't level up faster now. Is there anyway or can you tell how much did you farm and how? Because moghwyn is not giving much runes to farm..
I'm on PC so I just used TGA's cheat table to bring the game to NG7 and provide runes. I've played this game a lot so I don't go through entire playthroughs to level up. If you're on console though, that Mohgwyn Palace rune farm is definitely the best.
I think you can get levels very fast there, I'm sure there's some great videos showing out to do it most efficiently. I don't really know any faster way than just using gold scarab / gold fowl foot and using Sacred Relic Sword, but again I don't farm the runes so idk the best way.

@@mayankkumar1503 Thanks! And I specifically use "The Grand Archives" for Cheat Engine, if you go to their github page they have instructions on the download. Make sure to read it, including how to turn off anti cheat so you don't get banned.
In addition to this I use Elden Ring Tool "ERTool" as well, which makes practicing bosses a lot easier. I have a Discord link on my channel if you have any questions about it, I'd be happy to answer.
What war of ash is on your nagakiba please?
It's just the standard AOW, called unsheathe
Do you recommend keen or occult affinity?
If you’re max player level technically cold would be the highest AR, but it would depend on boss resistances. I didn’t put an affinity on the Nagakiba for this video, but keen or occult could definitely be good for a first playthrough

Not very optimized though, you could definitely get more damage by using red feathered branch sword or blue dancer

Can someone please tell me what NG+ (Number) means? I know NG is new game, but why the number
Your first playthrough is called "NG", which stands for "New Game". Once you beat the game, you can choose to go into NG+ (New Game Plus), which increases enemy / boss health and damage, but also increases the amount of runes you get. While your previous map is deleted, you get to keep all of your items and levels aside from key items and some other stuff.
Enemy / boss health and damage, as well as increased rune drops, will continue to increase until NG+7 (Your 8th playthrough), after that, there is no more increases in the game's difficulty. That is why you may see people say "NG+7", because in NG+7 the bosses and enemies have the highest health and deal the most damage

I don't really know to be honest, but I do know that it has more range. It's the longest Katana in the game, so that could be an argument for it being a bit better. I also believe it has better dex scaling but that may have to be double checked

That was right on the border of getting hit, I definitely did jump soon but not too soon apparently.
There’s a few close calls in this video since I haven’t had much practice with these bosses, but that doesn’t bother me because this isn’t a no hit run, just no hit boss fights, so these videos are essentially good practice themselves

How do you rune farm?
You can go to the standard place where at the first grace near Mohg's palace, but if I need runes I just spawn them in using TGA's table (make sure you have a script to go offline). I can't remember for sure but I think the runes I have here are from bosses, but they might not be. You get a ton in NG+7
at max lvl i think quality affinity would be the best with the dual B str dex scaling
Yeah I didn’t optimize this build at all, wasn’t really going for that. If you want to do some big damage, cold would do the most (depends on boss resistances though because of split damage). Also using red feathered branch sword and blue dancer would increase damage by a lot, as well as using better buffs like commander’s standard or bloodboil aromatic / howl instead of flame grant me strength.
Again though, I thought the dmg was pretty high so I didn’t want to continue buffing haha. Plus I didn’t really learn what buffs were good until some people told me in the comments

Yep! I'm just not really optimizing for damage too much here. I could also get a lot more by using red feathered branch sword and blue dancer, but again I wasn't trying to maximize damage all that much, just enough to make the fights long enough

what entchantment do you have on the nagakiba?
Just standard, I didn't add any AOW to it. You can definitely get more damage by changing the affinity on it

Fighting bosses in these videos I make lol, NG7 gives a lot of runes, if you check out the other vids they slowly add up each video haha. Not like there’s much to do with them on this character though
What are stats I should use cause your just max level
For Nagakiba I'd recommend dex being your main dmg based level. In a base NG playthrough by end game I'd recommend a good bit of health (45-60 Vigor based on your personal preference), some endurance based on your preference, and most other levels in dex.
For talismans I'd recommend Shard of Alexander if you are using Unsheathe, Winged/Rotten Winged Insignia/Millicent's Prosthesis if you like light attacking a lot, Ritual Sword Talisman, green turtle talisman or the axe talisman. Lots of other good options here
Change the affinity to blood/cold/sharp or whatever else to get some extra dmg if you'd like. You'll find this weapon is quite good no matter what level / NG you are in, especially if you use the unsheathe ability. When you run a good weapon you'll notice that most things in a build can be based on your personal preference. Even at RL1 it's a great choice, so you have a lot of flexibility here. This was kind of a text wall but hope this helps!

Yep. Worst boss in ER I think. He is easy on every playthrough including some challenge playthroughs, but if you're doing a RL1 +0 upgrades or any other long form challenge (like Gino's fists only), that boss is a nightmare just like Rennala

I read that ur not trying to optimize damage but why is that? Ur going for no hit anyways so running BDC and red feathered would be a fantastic idea. Could probably be dealing close to 3k dmg per unsheathe with a more optimized build.

Haha, great question. The main reason is because this isn't a no hit run, just no hit for individual bosses.
If this were a no hit run, then yeah you'd want to optimize everything as much as possible to reduce risk. This includes optimizing the boss fights themselves too, positioning yourself to take the lowest risk and highest reward, which is something I also don't do in this video since I'm opting for dodges that I find fun and probably look flashier.
Essentially, I don't mind if I get hit while practicing and fighting these bosses, all I have to do is reset the fight. But in a no hit run, you have to reset the run, so that's the difference. And while these fights aren't too long in this video, I also just like being in the arena longer, because it's fun and it showcases more of the boss movesets.

Haha, he can be pretty difficult. Which air attack? He probably didn't do it because I didn't spend that much time in the arena with him. Maybe I can extend the fight by not buffing, so I can showcase more of it
@HeyItsBlazeX It's that one attack where he goes into the air and does the two or three slashes from side to side and sweep attack after. The sweep one is always hard for me to dodge, man. Ugliest boss mechanics in the game for sure
@@dannyalexander2328 Oh yes! He does the shorter one at 20:39 but not the one with the big sweep at the end. It may be easier to parry if you wanted to try that, you just have to parry a bit early with that item but it leaves him very vulnerable

Try lvl 1 if you want to impress
Ha, I could, that would be fun! Surprisingly, the fights actually would be just as long in a RL1, and you could make them a lot shorter if you wanted to. RL1 difficulty comes primarily from the low health, but you can do a ton of damage if desired.
A huge challenge would be a RL1 +0 weapon upgrades. If you want to see some long fights, I highly recommend looking up TH-camrs that have done this, they are fun to watch. I streamed a RL1 on Twitch, doing a lot of side bosses and remembrances with the Zweihander, but haven't done a +0 weapon upgrades challenge

Ha, yeah you could extend these fights as long as you want for sure. A good way to make them long is to do a RL1 +0 weapons, because you can also kill bosses very fast at RL1
