@@Goovdluck687 how exactly do you know that? Miraculous isn’t exactly one of those shows that straight up begins having lots of plot and emotion. What makes it great is that these elements are slowly incorporated over time and elevate the show slowly. The problem isn’t whether or not the writers will explore more of these really powerful concepts - they’ve already done that on a smaller scale at this point. The issue is when they’ll do it. The pacing has always been a problem in the show, not the plot itself.
@@smartcookie1806 because thomas tends to push away fanfiction ideas. Once someone asked if Marinette would be akumatized and he replied rather rudely saying thats a dumb idea it would never happen. He also favours Marinette over other characters.
Thomas isn't open to adding ideas he don't want. That's why the show sucks and fanfiction is better.
@@Goovdluck687 While Thomas is obviously way too dismissive of fans, it’s pretty clear that he has a story plan that is being built up and carefully crafted. You can’t just say because he doesn’t use a certain idea that that means the show sucks. First of all, when we say a show sucks, at least in the case of series like Miraculous, it doesn’t make sense for that to apply to every element. While the show is mediocre at its pacing and character development, its plot development and mysteries (as well as the lore and romance) are poignantly built and constantly keeping you interested (at least for me). And that’s not just some little element of a show that doesn’t matter - that’s a petty big aspect of a show without which a series cannot continue. Marinette getting akumatized is a great concept, but what y’all fail to remember is that a concept can’t just be randomly inserted into the show. You can’t just watch or read an animatic or comic and say that they’re better than the actual show without taking into account that maybe the writers want their plot points to make sense and have proper buildup, meaning, and payoff. Again, it’s about the surrounding conditions. Of course there are some fan creations that probably are more interesting than the show (like aus), but a lot of them just take concepts that could easily appear in the show at certain points and give it to us immediately. Because some people hate the show’s pacing, they perceive that as an example of the fandom doing things that the show can’t, when that isn’t really the case.
P.S. Marinette being the center is pretty annoying a lot of the time, but that again falls into what Miraculous’s main problem is imo - character development. But again, one element being lackluster doesn’t make the show terrible. It just makes it imperfect.

All of these animatics I loved, but I saw youth a like a week ago and watched it over 15 times no joke i absolutely love it, the song choice, the story, and the art, all of it could not possibly be more beautiful.

When you’ve seen all the animations, you know you’re obsessed. Though I personally have only seen 3 out of the 5, but they are all very good.

My theory on Gabriel Agreste: I think he's A) either going to get a redemption, which I would not like to see. I'm done with villain redemptions done wrong. Or B) Someone else is going to steal his miraculous and this other person would become the new Hawkmoth, because we've seen in that one episode where Bunnix appears that the villain was from another Hawkmoth. This second option would be veeeery interesting to watch, though I can't see anyone becoming Hawkmoth instead, besides Lila or maybe Natalie.
It'd be ironic if he did get a redemption, since Austruc said Chloe is irredeemable and Gabe is much, much worse than her

8:34 but if you have that ending, then the whole series would have been kind of pointless since the main objective has always been to stop hawkmoth to using the wish, so the wish must have really bad consequences to justify all the destruction and caos caused to stop Hawkmoth from reviving one person.
