Then there are characters like Nate who puts on a facade of being a big jock with the perfect life and the perfect family when in reality it’s far from the truth or Maddie who has this independent bad bitch vibe yet still is dependent on Nate in the way she keeps coming back to him no matter how toxic their relationship is. Here, it’s the outside world that doesn’t know their names, because they don’t know the truth or what’s really happening, way they’re crumbling beneath the facade that they’ve created.
Rue is battling between her demons of addictions and her need to change and find love Lexi feels like she's not loved and understand by others. Jules is confused about her identity and sexuality Fez is stuck as a '' gangster '' but in reality he does it only for money Cassie think sexuality is her only way to express herself and be loved and she's used by mens

This song makes me cry everytime I hear it. The fact that he’s talking for a lot of teenagers struggling in this generation... finding our sexuality, still trying to find ourselves. We know ourselves yet don’t know who we are and where we belong..
They did such a great job capturing the feelings we go through as kids in high school figuring ourselves out. The addiction, feelings, relationships just everything is captured and so well acted out in this show. Reminds me of being young! I can't believe how well done this show is. The scene with cassie dancing in the room with the balloons, fez shot lying on the ground screaming to ash, rue showing the highs and lows of addiction, being in love, just everything. It's so good and amazingly done! I can't wait for more!!

They did such a great job capturing the feelings we go through as kids in high school figuring ourselves out. The addiction, feelings, relationships just everything is captured and so well acted out in this show. Reminds me of being young! I can't believe how well done this show is. The scene with cassie dancing in the room with the balloons, fez shot lying on the ground screaming to ash, rue showing the highs and lows of addiction, being in love, just everything. It's so good and amazingly done! I can't wait for more!!
