Guys imagine that a luxurious but melancholic setting, a vintage car speeding down an empty, misty road at night, its headlights cutting through the darkness, while the girl gazes out of the window, lost in her own thoughts of love and loss! This song is like a dream!!!🖤
Idk this song scares me . I can feel the pressure, the fear, the sadness of it. The girl is transfixed and passionate and can't do nothing to change the bad attitude of her lover. And at the end, the deadly love of her bad boy kills her and him, holds her metaphorically dead body desperate and regretted.
hearing "i was so confused as a little child, tryna take what i could get scared that i couldn't find all the answers" at 12 years old resonated with me and much more so now at 24
I listened to her so many times when people would mention her and I literally remember watching this video and just not liking it. Well, that has certainly changed. I don’t really think I lived enough life or had the emotional maturity to understand/I didn’t have the appreciation for this type of thematic music

We live in a sad world where bad songs win Grammys but good songs don't.
I mean the Grammys don’t always give to everyone you like. Just because cardi won a Grammy doesn’t mean that she sticks
@@st7rlette ok but cardi b does stink tho lol
@@coffeeaddict7351 no she doesnt
@@st7rlette she makes fine songs, some of them are good, but it's all in the production, her actual talent isn't great tbh
@@st7rlette have you heard her lyrics? Shes not poet I can say that much.. a child could write better shit
0:12 money is the anthem god is so handsome
2011: Wow I’m impressed.
2019: Still impressed.
Same...
me too...
I poste the video of her singing it during the Norman Fucking Rockwell concert if u want lol

I'm forever in love with this song and video
I can't explain the feeling I get with this.
It's this kind of romatic melancholy with some sense of youth.
Same
She was aesthetic before aesthetic was a thing
she invented aestheticsm
aesthetic means style.
I'd say "her aesthetic was different at the time" since aesthetic means style. But yes, you're correct. She's an iconic!
I like that kinda comments
Aesthetic has been a thing forever
Guys imagine that a luxurious but melancholic setting, a vintage car speeding down an empty, misty road at night, its headlights cutting through the darkness, while the girl gazes out of the window, lost in her own thoughts of love and loss!
This song is like a dream!!!🖤
This does not feel like 9 years ago...
I know right? It’s almost a decade old...
Yet the lyrics will spark our souls for centuries to come
yeah it does
Facts...
I know, I just looked and honestly thought it was maybe six years old. I can't believe its nine years..
it doesn't sound outdated at all... timeless classic
"sometimes love is not enough" - possibly one of the saddest things you realize as an adult
Thanks for reminding me that :'(
That is so true sadly
What else do you need ?
Idk this song scares me . I can feel the pressure, the fear, the sadness of it. The girl is transfixed and passionate and can't do nothing to change the bad attitude of her lover. And at the end, the deadly love of her bad boy kills her and him, holds her metaphorically dead body desperate and regretted.
Searched for this song after a fight w my bf to cry, but this comment really hit me hard.
Ur right lol aha. Good perception.
It should scare u.
I MADE A VIDEO PLAYING THIS SONG ON THE PIANO, WATCH IN MY CHANNEL!
you can feel it bc it’s real. IT IS REAL. Not like that billie’s shit or lauv’s shit
hearing "i was so confused as a little child, tryna take what i could get scared that i couldn't find all the answers" at 12 years old resonated with me and much more so now at 24
Who else is going through Lana's old music and getting nostalgic. ❤️
Mani Singh i was blind and never found her music till now better late then never i guess
I've never seen someone try so hard to be someone she isn't. The future will be rough for her.
Tonight I am on a Lana del Rey marathon with a nice bottle of red wine and a bowl of grapes.
Literally same but I’m drinking white wine 😳🤯 weird
Me too, with white wine! Cheers!
Cheers guys enjoy the wine and the goddess Lana. :)
Thats me right now but replace the wine with a bone 💨
You're eating wine.
How tf cardi b has a Grammy and Lana doesn’t
Scammys*
That hit hard 💀
it's all about popularity and how well you play into the industry's politics.
Right?
The people who decide have as good a grasp of the English language as you do?
I love Lana Del Rey and you will see me in each of her videos and albums 🤍
Me: *loves life

crazy how a song that used to mean nothing to you can shake you to your core later in life
what happened?
That was deep
same, my father used to play this and listening to this a decade later at 17 suddenly hits
I listened to her so many times when people would mention her and I literally remember watching this video and just not liking it. Well, that has certainly changed. I don’t really think I lived enough life or had the emotional maturity to understand/I didn’t have the appreciation for this type of thematic music
You took the words right out of my mouth 😔
How does this not have a billion views yet?
My mother is fucking addicted to Lana since she heard one of her songs i was listening to. She took all of my Lana albums and plays them on repeat in her car every days...
alien soup lmao 😂 my dad too
She is rather wonderful
id hope my mom were like yours , when she hears the music i like she says is weird and depressive 😂

People who haven't discovered her yet is missing a whole *GENRE*

I'm not the biggest fan, but what Genre would you consider her? Her vocals are amazing. I think she could easily become a chameleon artist and just fit wherever vibe she's feeling.
@@candeezymarie9827 I'd consider Electro-Goth. LOL
Wrong Lana del Rey will never die. She is immortal
TRUE!
