We live in a culture that discourages the experience of pain and glorifies fun even at the cost of what we really need. So we end up addicted to all sorts of things that make us numb to pain. But of course the pain doesn't really go away, does it? Only temporarily.

And then, it got more intense when I first got a job, because straight away it was what some call "the dream job", the one you want to have. Also in that job and the university too, I think a lot has to do with some sobering realisations that nothing is like they told you during the childhood, in fact, it's more like the ultimate opposite to that. That it's not the best they desire and that if you study well and work hard, all will be good for you. No, you always come against a hard wall of some stupid shit, for which anybody that wants to do things right is dangerous and they try to take you down. And you have two choices - agree to their terms, or leave. Yet at the different place, it's the same allover again. Add to that some serious health issues and you feel like buying a ticket to get out of this world once for all. But I decided not to play that game anymore, I got through it, and I try to be as good and strong as I can so that I can fight my ilness in the future. Hey, but you're too young to be absolutely sure what to do in the future, you should just go on, wok on yourself, to look good, be kind, well and a sort of assertive in a healthy way, cause you need that in these times. Always speak your mind and always stand behind your words. And at once, you'll find something, anything that can be, which will require some level of responsibility and with that, the purpose of your life will find you. And well, the pandemic, it should go away, like the Spanish flu or the previous SARS. Or we'll just learn how to live with it, just like with the flu, and all restrictions should be gone, but well, that depends on the level of totality in any given goverement... P.S.: And it's good to have somebody to speak to and not be completely alone, unless you're 99,99% ok with being alone. It is good to have somebody around, but choose wisely.

I don't know this song makes me agree with another comment, I do believe this is one of the saddest song made, I don't know about everyone else but it feels like when time stops after the rush of a party, when you are in the cab and you feel empty inside, on when you are drunk and have that moment of sadness admist stranger, or when you get kissed by lips you don't remember, or when someone you knew very well leaves slowly from your life, a feeling of not pain nor sadness, emptyness. The feeling of deep sounds drowning you into a trench of sentient unconsciousness were you feel that not even the sweetest touch can save you, and for a second you are alone with your self and is honestly terryfing.
