  • David Whelan is a documentary filmmaker and writer who has for the last three years researched the assassination of John Lennon. David is back to discuss some areas in John Lennon's death such as the doorman Jose Perdomo and the taxi driver Richard Peterson. This episode will also discuss conflicting testimony of the first police officers who arrived after the shooting and the different documentation of evidence found in Mark Chapmans hotel room.

I was skeptical when I first came across David's work, but the more you go into the evidence of what he's saying, the more you realise something is seriously amiss. The questions he raises throw a disturbing light on an inexplicable tragedy. The whole thing absolutely reeks of a cover up.

Another great one with one of my favorite guests. If I'd have known what all there was to it when I was studying Lennon, I may not have gotten into Kennedy. And as stated earlier, thanks for referencing me at the end.

Thank you for all your hard work, David Whelan. I can't wait to read your book. I've watched all the podcasts he's been on. Very interesting stuff. It's very sad that John Lennon's death was treated in this shoddy manner. I am glad the truth is out now. Thanks again!!

Also, much thanks to Robbie for bringing us such a wonderful guest. You have a new subscriber. I am also into the JFK assassination and the RFK and MLK assassinations to a lesser extent, so I think I will definitely enjoy some of your other guests.
As far as assassinations go, Lennon hits me the hardest because I've been a devoted Beatlemaniac since I was 13 years old. That was a long time ago!
I haven't believed that Chapman was John's killer for many years now. I certainly believe that there had to be another gunman but I have learned so very much from this guest that I never knew.
Incidentally, I went to the two main bookstores in Manhattan today and neither carried the book. I guess I'll have to order from Amazon and be patient until it arrives.
