I've heard from a few Walmart drivers that they babysit you to much. Don't allow you to talk on the phone for more then so much. They got driver cameras . Etc etc . Could a been disgruntled drivers tho

Yes it is still 30 months experience. Keep checking one of those DC's will start hiring eventually.

Yes they do. I believe we have quite a few guys in that situation.
I felt like this was a video for new drivers, but Walmart doesn't hire new drivers. I've been out here for 4.5 years (not with Walmart) and while you do get to take in the scenery, it's not exactly as great as you made it sound in the video. Also note that if you do take your time, you won't make as much money as you would if you keep the door closed--that is the tradeoff. As with most of everything in life, it is about perspective.
Well that's really the point I'm kind of making on the video. I've worked for other companies and if you're not moving you're not making money but with Walmart there is time to check things out and because we get paid so much it doesn't affect your pay that much at all within reason of course. At all the other jobs I had this would be an impossibility you would literally go broke trying to stop and check things out. This also holds true with the schedule I decide to have here at Walmart. I work a 5 days on 5 days off and still make $100,000 a year with that schedule of working 50% of the time. Pretty much an absolute impossibility with any other jobs when it comes to driving a truck.
