I think main vocal is a position she could definitely have bcs even tho technically Chaehyun's better, Youngeun is the best at hitting high notes and usually that's what main vocals do.

And there shouldn't have been 18 left for the final round at all :/ but whats done is done. We can only hope for the best for the other girls. Maybe they will have something better coming their way rather than getting to debut in a temporary group with an ugly ass name.

Yes. For me, she's the best than others. The others just dancing strongly. But yeseo got the best dancing line. She basically kill all of the concept. The best ballad. But might be nobody notice that because she's too short to be a main dancer.
To those who are "in shock" with the ranking, I say that I expected it. I think many of you have missed two extremely important points. First: from the beginning of the program, the voting result was 50% Korean votes and 50% international votes, that is, the Koreans already had a certain advantage in relation to the final rankings. Second: the show is Korean, the TV station is Korean, the show is set in South Korea and the final group will be a K-pop group that will mostly promote in South Korea. k-pop group Koreans will want Koreans, I'm not saying that South Koreans are xenophobic, even if you look at the graphs from previous eliminations you will see that many Koreans voted and supported many foreigners. But then we come to the third point... The elimination we had this Friday, it wasn't any kind of elimination, it was the final of the reality show, whoever won would debut, and whoever lost would lose, game over... Despite all the love that everyone had for all the participants, in the end you were entitled to only one vote per day. You need to understand that the last vote also affects who is voting (the planet guardians), especially if there is someone from your country. Adding to the fact that the South Koreans are one of the most nationalist countries out there, of course last week they preferred to vote for the Koreans. Remember what I said up there? That 50% of the votes are from South Korea alone... 1+1= "Let's vote for our South Korean girls last week!". But it wasn't just the South Koreans who liked the South Koreans, a lot of "non-Korean" people also liked and supported them (I'm a case and maybe so are you...). And as it happens in many reality shows, many people have the erroneous thought: "My favorite is in a high position in the rankings, I will vote for others, since she is guaranteed". It was the case of Shen Xiao Ting, she was in first, many left her aside to vote for others and she was dropping in ranking, so much so that she was ranked 9th. What resulted with this ranking final: 6 Korean, 2 Japanese and 1 Chinese. P.S.: I'm sorry if your favorite didn't make debut, but will sticking hate on others change something? Will putting hate on 'x' participant will make that 'x' participant leave the final group so that yours will be in her place? Grow and learn to mature and know how to control your emotions! Thanks!
That's right, I've been thinking about the ratio of votes, I estimated that it might be 1 Korean Vote = 8~10 Global Votes. Moreover, since there are no benefits, it will also affect lot of C and J group votes, in short, their votes will drastically drop or change. So, I'm not really surprised about K - 6, J - 2 and C - 1. But yeah... It really hurts to see a lot of girls who had so much potential weren't able to join the debut team.
I like this. I’d like to add that with time I hope bahiyyih is able to showcase more power vocals and her dance skills. I feel like while we know and have seen most of the members theres still so much we can see from her. This is mainly because we never got much exposure and also because during the show she was a trainee with the least experience. She was barely ever praised by the masters and had no drama so she didn’t gain much attention except for her family name. I wish she was more proqctive but I understand She did have low confidence to take on main positions (ı don’t blame her if she made a single mistake she wouldv’ve gotten 1000 more hate than anyone on that show). Although, I think she showcased enough to show that she is a stable vocal and average dancer ( not main position worthy yet) and doesn’t drag the group because she sticks out like a sore thumb or is always making mistakes. So yeah I see so much potential for growth and hope she is given the opportunity to do so once the group debuts.

@@imanchann I think people are hating on her because there were so many contestants that could have replaced her with much more talent (Yurina, Bora, Ruiqi, Yaning, to name some). However, since the voting system changed drastically, these contestants were robbed and all the K-Group trainees flourished. If the system didn't change, pretty sure some of the current debut girls won't be there (which includes Bahiyyih). Thus, people are saying that Yurina, Bora, etc. were robbed and Bahiyyih is the person who gets all the hate since I guess she is seen as the weakest link?

"hate" gets overused, I certainly don't hate anybody; its a competition, and in that spirit, I didn't see Bahiyyih perform anywhere near top9 during GP999; you can blame evil editing or whatever you want, but that's what I saw. What I did see is top ability from Shana, Yurina, and Bora and they didn't make it. Congrats to Bahiyyih and the organized kgroup stans that ballot stuffed her in, that was the game and it was played well. I hope she improves, she'll need to or its going to be brutal.

After going through the grieving/salt process of Yurina not getting into the group, my mind has finally cleared and now, this group doesn't look as bad as I initially thought. Kep1er (still dislike the name A LOT) has a ton of all rounders. Hikaru, Xiao Ting, Dayeon, Young Eun, and potentially Mashiro, Yeseo, and Yujin. It's just absolutely perfect. I'm kinda excited to see their debut song (Hopefully it holds a candle to IZ*ONE's debut cause IZ*ONE was the first ever GG I actually stanned) Edit: I forgot to add Yeseo to the potential all rounder list :P

With no Shana, no Yurina and no Bora, the vocal ability of this group is damaged badly... Kep1er needed at least one of those three, if not two.

Yes. For me, she's the best than others. The others just dancing strongly. But yeseo got the best dancing line. She basically kill all of the concept. The best ballad. But might be nobody notice that because she's too short to be a main dancer.
To those who are "in shock" with the ranking, I say that I expected it. I think many of you have missed two extremely important points.
First: from the beginning of the program, the voting result was 50% Korean votes and 50% international votes, that is, the Koreans already had a certain advantage in relation to the final rankings.
Second: the show is Korean, the TV station is Korean, the show is set in South Korea and the final group will be a K-pop group that will mostly promote in South Korea. k-pop group Koreans will want Koreans, I'm not saying that South Koreans are xenophobic, even if you look at the graphs from previous eliminations you will see that many Koreans voted and supported many foreigners. But then we come to the third point...
The elimination we had this Friday, it wasn't any kind of elimination, it was the final of the reality show, whoever won would debut, and whoever lost would lose, game over...
Despite all the love that everyone had for all the participants, in the end you were entitled to only one vote per day. You need to understand that the last vote also affects who is voting (the planet guardians), especially if there is someone from your country. Adding to the fact that the South Koreans are one of the most nationalist countries out there, of course last week they preferred to vote for the Koreans.
Remember what I said up there? That 50% of the votes are from South Korea alone... 1+1= "Let's vote for our South Korean girls last week!". But it wasn't just the South Koreans who liked the South Koreans, a lot of "non-Korean" people also liked and supported them (I'm a case and maybe so are you...).
And as it happens in many reality shows, many people have the erroneous thought: "My favorite is in a high position in the rankings, I will vote for others, since she is guaranteed". It was the case of Shen Xiao Ting, she was in first, many left her aside to vote for others and she was dropping in ranking, so much so that she was ranked 9th.
What resulted with this ranking final: 6 Korean, 2 Japanese and 1 Chinese.
P.S.: I'm sorry if your favorite didn't make debut, but will sticking hate on others change something? Will putting hate on 'x' participant will make that 'x' participant leave the final group so that yours will be in her place? Grow and learn to mature and know how to control your emotions! Thanks!

That's right, I've been thinking about the ratio of votes, I estimated that it might be 1 Korean Vote = 8~10 Global Votes. Moreover, since there are no benefits, it will also affect lot of C and J group votes, in short, their votes will drastically drop or change. I like this. I’d like to add that with time I hope bahiyyih is able to showcase more power vocals and her dance skills. I feel like while we know and have seen most of the members theres still so much we can see from her. This is mainly because we never got much exposure and also because during the show she was a trainee with the least experience. She was barely ever praised by the masters and had no drama so she didn’t gain much attention except for her family name. I wish she was more proqctive but I understand She did have low confidence to take on main positions (ı don’t blame her if she made a single mistake she wouldv’ve gotten 1000 more hate than anyone on that show). Although, I think she showcased enough to show that she is a stable vocal and average dancer ( not main position worthy yet) and doesn’t drag the group because she sticks out like a sore thumb or is always making mistakes. So yeah I see so much potential for growth and hope she is given the opportunity to do so once the group debuts.
It's just sad that ppl hate her bcoz she is kai's sister. I really don't get it. It's not like kai is a hella big artist or what. They might say it's bcoz txt is one of the leading 4th gen group but even so the fandom is not as big as they think. They might be threatened bcoz of hybe? C'mon do you rlly think every hybe stan will download that app and spend each day voting for her? Oh hello no, i'm pretty sure they'll spend their energy on other things rather than voting. Most of them have their main groups to support (like svt and enha having cb rn). Other contestants are already in a group, have their own fandom and ppl are not nitpicking? So they hate bahiyyih for having an idol brother while aiming to be an idol herself? I know there are more talented trainees (my picks are even eliminated T_T) but still what do you want her to do? Give up her dreams? That's just unreasonably ridiculous and unfair. You are ruining a teenager's confidence here. Don't blame her for gaining a lot of votes coz her supporters are really loyal (from what i saw in the comments). This is a competition mostly depending on viewer's vote. If a lot of ppl supported her, that's out of our control then. Place yourselves in her shoes. Will you be restricted of your dream just bcoz you already have an idol brother?
Also, i get why some are confused. It's because we're not used to seeing her on screen. Mnet probably didn't like her tk be part of the group (which is alarming coz she might get mistreated) because she really had almost no screentime at all even at the final stage. She's treated just like the jtrainees even if she's a ktrainee. Even the company isn't in favor of her. So do you still think it's justifiable to send her hate? She's just like the other girls who dreamed of becoming an idol

However, since the voting system changed drastically, these contestants were robbed and all the K-Group trainees flourished. If the system didn't change, pretty sure some of the current debut girls won't be there (which includes Bahiyyih). Thus, people are saying that Yurina, Bora, etc. were robbed and Bahiyyih is the person who gets all the hate since I guess she is seen as the weakest link?

"hate" gets overused, I certainly don't hate anybody; its a competition, and in that spirit, I didn't see Bahiyyih perform anywhere near top9 during GP999; you can blame evil editing or whatever you want, but that's what I saw. What I did see is top ability from Shana, Yurina, and Bora and they didn't make it. Congrats to Bahiyyih and the organized kgroup stans that ballot stuffed her in, that was the game and it was played well. I hope she improves, she'll need to or its going to be brutal.

was about to watch this but your intro made me challenge not to cry :(( i was really devastated bc yurina didn't make it.. i was happy because almost all of the contestants who got in the top9 deserves the spot they got but at the same time i feel like there's a hole, there's is missing (i really hoped that there's a planet pass but sadly there's really none :((). my yxt heart :(( no more xiaorina crumbs, felt really sad for yurina
After going through the grieving/salt process of Yurina not getting into the group, my mind has finally cleared and now, this group doesn't look as bad as I initially thought.
Kep1er (still dislike the name A LOT) has a ton of all rounders. Hikaru, Xiao Ting, Dayeon, Young Eun, and potentially Mashiro, Yeseo, and Yujin. It's just absolutely perfect. I'm kinda excited to see their debut song (Hopefully it holds a candle to IZ*ONE's debut cause IZ*ONE was the first ever GG I actually stanned)

On early eps her cell not get picked for mission and the amount of hate she receives might drag her confidence down. It’s kinda hopeless to think that the hate will decrease bc we know how her antis are, but I hope bahiyyih wouldn’t pay attention to those roaches and there’s soo many people who love her. I hope in the future when she can start meeting fans through fancall or events, they can encouraged her to be confident and ignore the haters.

They shouldn't have invited that many foreigners if only 3 of them will survive at the very end. Not even 4 foreigners.. Xiaoting even barely got to survive

And if they like others members more, that's okay, then just concentrate on them and leave Hiyyih alone, let her breathe and give her some time. Imo she was already really good during the show but she barely got screentime, and we all know she will work hard and get even better when Kep1er debuts.
