XiaYan, Liang, XuZiyin and other C Group girls said the same thing. They can't chose the song they likes and suitable their vocal range, style. Mnet even control their hairstyle and colour of hair.
Yes and mnet also chooses the sequence of performance. If u saw xu ziyin's live 9:00 she said they had to film with 30hrs+ of no sleep and 12hrs of starvation so those that performed earlier had more advantage than those who performed later and were more lethargic. Btw xu zi yin performed 2nd last which may be why she didnt perform well.

6:51 No, it's not true. Someone asked Su Ruiqi to sing her own song which is "摘星", you can hear that she spoke the song's name after singing helicopter (7:11). So she was actually explaining that she didn't really remember the lyrics of her song "摘星" because she didn't listen to it that much. So it's not related to helicopter. 🙈
@@nodwragon8935 what happened was during ruiqi's live, a lot of people were asking her to sing songs (even songs that she didnt perform, like uml and shoot) and someone asked her to do helicopter :)
In case you didn't realize, the whole training system in korea has always been like this except the drama. I think aside from K-trainees having less drama, C-trainees is not as exposed to the culture like when they used the "age card" and such that's why they are easier target for editing. Meanwhile, J trainees are usually shy because of the impressions from the previous survival show that makes them almost invisible in the show.
Yes ofc different cultures might affect the editing outcome. From my experience (I went to high school & university that majority of my classmates are South Korean, Chinese and Japanese), my South Korean friends (age 15-24 through this period) in general are individualist, but they do have the the strict hierarchy about age and all, also some of them might have strong opinion, but most of them would choose not to speak it out in front of everyone right away (happened in the show a few times ). On the other hand, Chinese people (around my age) in general are pretty individualist too (my professor conducted a study on this, basically bc of the one child policy etc), they tend to have strong opinions AND have no problem saying it out loud and some people (like me lol) would feel somewhat intimidated sometimes. This is also why there's a lot of drama on the C-trainees. Lastly, from my observation, my Japanese friends are the most 'conservative'. They can be fun and all but they're like the quiet kid that just do their thing and won't bother anyone else (in comparison to my two other group of friends) . I rarely see them strongly say their opinion out loud to anyone. They prefer to talk it out calmly if they think it was too problematic. I was also told once by my friend that being loud make an impression that we're rude to them sometimes. Anyway, ofc there are different types of people in different places, not here to stereotyping, but watching the show I can't help but feel like it's so fascinating how much culture can shape the people.
@@sunshineinthesky2532 I'm learning Japanese and what you said is true that Japanese are usually quiet and more reserve. I think that's why I can pretty much be friends with Japanese. I had Chinese and Korean classmates to but due to awkwardness and cultural differences it's hard for me to be friends with them.
By choosing the songs for the preliminaries - which either showcased the participants' talents or became a stumbling block - MNET basically had indirect influence over how the initial votes would turn out. If they can show you struggling, then the chances of people voting for you can be reduced. Also, MNET basically took all the screentime meant for J-trainees, and used it to attack C-line so they can keep most of the K-line in the debut lineup. It's all over the entire series: Angel edits - K line Evil edits - C line Leftovers - J line
Fun fact: Doah was the main rapper for Rollin Rollin back in Produce 48! So no, she's definitely not a loser, the way GP999 was arranged just screwed her over. It's not her or any of the contestants fault the show and its system was so messed up.
I guess when you're trained in Korea as a kpop trainee, in one way or another, idols are trained to subconsciously "fear the system". They're afraid of doing this, eating that, saying this, being at a certain place, going out with another idol, make friends with the opposite gender, etc. For non-korean trainees that train outside of Korea, the culture will vary. So to see them open and honest, you can roughly tell that where they come from, it's ok to be open and honest and it's not a stigma to them. If it's just 1 or 2, then we can maybe say it's just their personalities. But if most, or all of them are open and honest, then it becomes more obvious its a industry culture thing.
Wth would you watched someone's live just to dissed them. Doah did handle that hate comment perfectly. And lmao I admire how the C group keeps on spilling tea about the show. Though its still limited cuz they might get sued idk. MNET did them dirty. Plus that Kotone dissing MNET will forever be iconic lol.🤷♀️
what uhm what i have watched her since that drama with arin from oh my girl and some fanatics performances, but i never thought she was that young and even younger than me what. actual woah thanks for letting us know omg
Kpop trainees nowadays are very young, even 11 or 12 years old kid can be trained to be idols. They even have survival shows for kids now (the show of MBC i don't remember the name) I think because of that they mature very early
Well some of the c groups said that out of all the staffs, only 2 or 3 staffs that are really nice to them, the c groups. All of the others are basically treat them bad and i wonder if what happend to Ziyin was because of that. I mean, i know that especially that 1st demo stage, it would take more than 15 hours to get everything finished recording. But its so bad that they cant even get a meal in between like BRUHH
Omg not sleep for 30 hours and not eat nor drink for 12hours?? That's worse.. It can lower their imune system. I barely felt like alive after not sleep for 24 hrs (my heart beating so fast too) so imagine her😢
The Doah 1, that blonk is so rude wth!!! Ziyin's reply at the end is so witty AHAHAH 'I learn that one can sing after 30 hours of no sleep with 12 hours of hunger & thirst'
The Su Ruiqi bit is completely wrong. She's literally talking about her own song "Zhai xin" that she never got to hear much after it was released. Has nothing to do with helicopter lmao
@7:11 Su Ruiqi was reading a comment that was requesting her to sing her solo song "Seize the Light". So she meant she forgot the lyrics to her own song due to not being able to hear it many times after it was released (since she joined g999 soon after)
Su Ruiqi said that "I didn't hear this song many times" was actually referring to another Chinese song "摘星", which was also shown in the subtitles before.
mnet used chinese trainees to build up drama for the show's ratings, and I fcking hate them for that. C-group deserves more. They even know mnet evil edited them, now I know why c-group care for each other that much, 'coz they know that they only have each other if things go unexpected.
i'm confused. Ruiqi's one has nothing to do with "the truth of Girls Planet 999" tho? she just forgetting lyrics, she even forgetting her own song lyrics LOL 07:11 she said 摘星(seize the light), that's her own song, later she said"我忘記歌詞了" "i forgot the lyrics" in chinese she covered few clc songs way before the show, hobgoblin and no oh oh.
Even master Tiffany said she gave lots of advices but only a few was aired, idk why mnet always love to do things in the hardest possible way, is it so hard to be normal and kind in life?
Just want to say this is also evil editing. I am not a fan of Ruiqi but as others have pointed out in the comments, Ruiqi did not say that she forgot the lyrics of Helicopter. She said she forgot the lyrics of a different song. There is no misunderstanding or misinterpretation by the interpreter here. The interpreter simply did not interpret the name of a Chinese song which she clearly said the name after singing Helicopter. The whole portion where Ruiqi sang part of this Chinese song was simply cut off from your edit. If you do not understand Chinese, please do not do such edits that combine the interpreter's interpretation out of context. Please at least fix this in your description if you are not going to re-edit your uploaded video to fix this error.

I really don't understand how kpop stans/fandoms work. There are a lot of them that are really toxic, just like some yujin stans that you mentioned. YES. I loved all the YWY seasons. They really know how to give fair screentime, encourage friendship, and show wholesome storylines. I rooted for and loved every single trainee from beginning to end. Unlike the weird and uncomfortable tension in all of Mnet's shows. Chinese licensed Produce 101 even suffers from this
Although many Group C players have been warned by MNET and even threatened to sue But if they don't say it, a push of idiots has no idea how bad MNET treats them
My first picks from each group was Wang Yale, Kamimoto Kotone, Kim Dayeon and Suh Jimin. Only Dayeon made it. I still want to see this girls and achieve their dreams so so so much
I haven't watched gp999. I don't know who is who?. But few days back i accidentally saw medusa performance. A long girl with a unique snakelike hairstyle caught my attention instantly. It was not just bcoz of hairstyle but also bcoz of her voice and her beauty and stage presence. So powerful. I didn know her name. I left it like that. Ignored it. Then accidentally this video came up. I watched it without much interest. Then a girl who sang helicopter caught my attention. I instantly liked her voice n face n attitude. Then i got to know that she is the same girl from the medusa performance. I just came to know of her name. Su ruiqi. My god. Its a loss. By losing her we lost. She has got some talent. Now i just hope she debut at some other company. She is unique. I don't know by what standard they are judging. Defenitely not by the standard of talent for music. She has got a beautiful voice, stage presence amazing, rapping top-notch, attitude the best.
I'm glad and sad for the eliminated girls if I could I would support them all but....I can't even keep up with the groups I Stan so and I wish the best for the set teams no one has to be under mnets horrible commands😆 happy they can't control the screentime anymore
You should make a second part with what Fu Yaning said about the Helicopter/We Go Up situation. Turns out it was also evil editing and they forced her to say that to Yujin.
Now here's the thing: there are professions where staying up with no sleep for a certain time can be justified and even important, like something that's essential to humanity, say nurses and doctors. I also imagine it's expected for soldiers on duty to be able to forego sleep for a while. Even so I think these should be super-well paid jobs. Foregoing food and sleep for days when you're a teen pretty much, heck even a young adult should not be normalized and I don't know what the fuck is wrong with this entire world for praising things like this. Especially not for an entertainment program. Let alone it not being healthy for these girls who are only mnet's cash cows at this point, but it also sends many disturbing messages to kids and young adults that they, too, should die to achieve their dreams. Noone should ever make you think you need to die to live.

Ma Yuling said that she was put into Twinkle for the audition, a vocal song, even tho she listed her best position as dance. Want Yale basically taught her how to sing well enough to perform the song a few days before
@@Evelyn-oy4ue ahn jeong min was also ex sm member. And also just looking at the helicopter performance was enough to tell that it was staged.
The fact that Mnet chose to evil edit Liang Jiao instead of showing how Kotone wrote her own rap lyrics in a language that wasn't her mother tongue? Damn msnake
Plot Twist: SRQ was paid to say “Mnet is the best” when they had a sports challenge with the other groups and C group won
LMAOO when she said that i was like "ruiqi did you get paid to say ?" HAHAHAHA
Lol sury did not said that msnake just translated Ment is the best.
@@wynnnai5628 omfg that’s so mnetty 😂
the fact that she didnt even say mnet is the best, she said "as expected from mnet" but they mistranslated it.
"as expected of mnet" could actually have more than 1 meaning. But mnet was desperate to beautify themselves
And I don't understand the context in this video, because Su Ruiqi performed Snapping on the show and not Helicopter.
Really makes me question the authenticity of these translations then👀
@@nodwragon8935 Yeah.. I think it's fine even if Su Ruiqi really didn't remember the lyrics of helicopter🤣🤣🤣
@@zzyz7751 ooh do you mean the translations in this video?
@@nodwragon8935 what happened was during ruiqi's live, a lot of people were asking her to sing songs (even songs that she didnt perform, like uml and shoot) and someone asked her to do helicopter :)
In case you didn't realize, the whole training system in korea has always been like this except the drama. I think aside from K-trainees having less drama, C-trainees is not as exposed to the culture like when they used the "age card" and such that's why they are easier target for editing. Meanwhile, J trainees are usually shy because of the impressions from the previous survival show that makes them almost invisible in the show.
Did you get paid by Mnet? How much to change your words? Mnet never change since produce series. So this is NOT new to us.
@@MA-pb5bc 🤫
I hope by that you mean the entire training system is toxic af??
By choosing the songs for the preliminaries - which either showcased the participants' talents or became a stumbling block - MNET basically had indirect influence over how the initial votes would turn out. If they can show you struggling, then the chances of people voting for you can be reduced. Also, MNET basically took all the screentime meant for J-trainees, and used it to attack C-line so they can keep most of the K-line in the debut lineup. It's all over the entire series:
Angel edits - K line
Evil edits - C line
Leftovers - J line
doah is such a queen please ive been stanning since pd48 she deserve a better company
I think the company is good they just don’t have much money
Saaaaammmeee. I'm still salty she got eliminated and didn't get the planet pass dkdosjsnxm.
@@niqueh2828 the company literally a worded them.
Fun fact: Doah was the main rapper for Rollin Rollin back in Produce 48! So no, she's definitely not a loser, the way GP999 was arranged just screwed her over. It's not her or any of the contestants fault the show and its system was so messed up.
Chinese trainee are so straight forward and honest
Once there back in China all Mnet can do is send letters that they cannot enforce
BUT I CANT STILL BELIEVE DOAH'S JUST 17 SHE SEEMS REALLY MATURE
what uhm what i have watched her since that drama with arin from oh my girl and some fanatics performances, but i never thought she was that young and even younger than me what. actual woah thanks for letting us know omg

Kpop trainees nowadays are very young, even 11 or 12 years old kid can be trained to be idols. They even have survival shows for kids now (the show of MBC i don't remember the name) I think because of that they mature very early
17...what?!

Kotone rap diss will be forever iconic😌valid no debat..Imagine diss mnet at mnet survival show..Only kotone can do that🤝
The Su Ruiqi bit is completely wrong. She's literally talking about her own song "Zhai xin" that she never got to hear much after it was released. Has nothing to do with helicopter lmao
@7:11 Su Ruiqi was reading a comment that was requesting her to sing her solo song "Seize the Light". So she meant she forgot the lyrics to her own song due to not being able to hear it many times after it was released (since she joined g999 soon after)
Yale remains me of weightlifting fairy Kim bok joo
the fact that most of the girls are from C Group, they're unfiltered that's why I like them.
Exactly Mnet targeted to c group the most for evil edit.
I'm waiting for queen Bing to spill the tea
the way ziyin was talking abt the conditions on survival shows is so awful
Cause MNET didn't treat C-trainees well
If the Idol School girls were outspoken as planet girls, that would be iconic
Some videos were made tho. The conditions on idol school were the worst, inhumane even.
Su Ruiqi said that "I didn't hear this song many times" was actually referring to another Chinese song "摘星", which was also shown in the subtitles before.
Xu Xiyin was participate in YWY2 she fully know how different they treat to trainnees.
mnet used chinese trainees to build up drama for the show's ratings, and I fcking hate them for that. C-group deserves more. They even know mnet evil edited them, now I know why c-group care for each other that much, 'coz they know that they only have each other if things go unexpected.
I click because Yale is in the thumbnail and I am even happier you used my vid and give credits. Thank you for uploading videos like this! :D
Mnet: You’re not allowed to talk about anything regarding the show
C group trainees: say sike
I am now actually so glad that Xu Ziyin left earlier! She literally had zero screen time despite working so hard! 😩
Notice how most of them are chinese. Bruh, they're built different💀that's why I love them
i'm confused. Ruiqi's one has nothing to do with "the truth of Girls Planet 999" tho?
she just forgetting lyrics, she even forgetting her own song lyrics LOL
07:11 she said 摘星(seize the light), that's her own song, later she said"我忘記歌詞了" "i forgot the lyrics" in chinese
she covered few clc songs way before the show, hobgoblin and no oh oh.
I really love Xu Ziyin's voice..it's so smooth deep and her speech is so polished.
I love Su Ruiqi so much. I dont wanna support mnet new debut girlgroup
other trainee: we have a limit to talk about gp 999 mnet might send us warning
liangqiao: they evil edited me!!!!!!!
Even master Tiffany said she gave lots of advices but only a few was aired, idk why mnet always love to do things in the hardest possible way, is it so hard to be normal and kind in life?
Wait am I the only who just now knowing that Doah can speak English very well
Just want to say this is also evil editing.
I remember Jiao saying “It’s been a while since I went to KTV, guess I’ll go Purely K next time.”

The rude comment to Kim Doah. He/she is comparing her to lalisa, why not comparing her to him/her? She can sing, dance, have fans, and brave to go to this shows. He/she is unknown, talent-less, behind the screen troll. Easy to judge others, even if they were better than you!
liang twins are so fearless i can't 😭
The fact that its already exposed that their first stage was selected by mnet, c trainees were evile edited and mistranslated but still some mnets loyal children especially yujin stans are still throwing hate on yaning' we go up thing and getting 1000 of likes. They should be grateful that yaning made your fav and the show relevant.
I really don't understand how kpop stans/fandoms work. There are a lot of them that are really toxic, just like some yujin stans that you mentioned. Donno why they hate yaning so much but yujin loves yaning and is very close friends with yaning (as can be seen on gp999 as well). So I really don't understand how they can hate yaning even if their stan (yujin) loves her, isn't that like going against your stan? Man I'm so confused 😕😕
that yujin yaning situation was in august and yet ppl are still talking about it? are they closeminded or what literally mnet do t for the promotion of the show (bad publicity is still publicity) and mnet did great with that. funny those haters think it is not scripted T^T
I wish all this girls can be very happy, and have a lot of good opportunities. I'm so sorry girls.
why does Yale looks like that one person who broke out of prison gosh i love her so much😭😭
Doah laughing her ass off with that comment is a mood im shaking
I honestly don't get why they couldn't chose their song for the demo stage, like, at least let them do that. That's why some of those stages were a little off because it wasn't a song they fell comfortable with... ugh I'm lowkey pissed
Xu ziyin poor girl 😭
well….y’all should watch youth with you 2 if you want an actual wholesome produce show 😭 I expect nothing better from mnet even with their other shows like SMTM
True. I cant help but compare YWY with these korean shows. It sucks. YWY is better in all aspects 😅
