- If you’re a Web Designer and think you need a website for your portfolio, and it’s taking you FOREVER, the bottomline is that I think you’re just wasting your time, energy and money, and falling behind. In this video, I’ll tell you not 1, but 6 reasons why I think that, and I’ll give you my best portfolio tips to market yourself and attract new clients. We will also analyze an example of a PRO Web Design portfolio, and I’ll show you a bit of mine as well. My hope is that with this video you will be able to stop procrastinating and FINALLY get your portfolio done.

"Your published work is working for you" BAM!
Exactly!
Thank you so much for this video. Super helpful and well-presented. Your time and effort is most appreciated!
Thanks for the kind words Henry! Glad it was helpful :)
Love your work mate. Just a tip on framing people in videos. There is a lot of awkward black space above your head. You don’t need to have your head in the very centre of the shot it actually looks best when there is about the space of an apple from your head to the top of the frame. You can crop in a bit too and it will look much more comfortable. Try it out
Thanks for the feedback!
It's a great video and inspiration again and again. Thank you Adrian.
My pleasure man!
OMG... Very inspired to go back to web designing as my main career field and I was literally stuck at the portfolio part. Thank you for the info, I wished my uni actually went into depth about this.
Yeah, uni lack a lot of the practical knowledge of how to navigate your career. Go for it! All the best!
Obrigado por essa visão, Adrián.
Intriguing!! This is great content, thank you so much!🎈
You're so welcome!
Muchas gracias Adrian por este excelente video
Un gusto!
Thanks for the video ◡̈
simply I JUST NEED TO DO IT
That's right!
Thanks man for shearing ;)
My pleasure!
Clients go to behance? Really? I thought only designers go to behance for inspirations
I got my best and highest paying client from Behance. Since it's a niche community, it's much easier to find service providers in there than on Instagram for example.
Thank u ❤ bro
Buen contenido! Te descubri en linkedin :) saludos desde chubut!
Eyyy gracias Agostina! Saludos 🙌
Great video as usual ! Just to note that 10 000 hours is 1 year 1 month 3 weeks and 16 hours. I guess someone can't work all day 24/24 . Only 4 to 8 hours per day. Maybe with a bootcamp you may get better faster ... food for thought for a new video 🤓
Thanks man! I advocate for a good work life balance. And plus, it takes time to process ideas. The only way to shortcut the learning process is to focus on one thing 😉
amazing video as always!! I don't know how many versions of my portfolio I have in Figma haha
That makes two of us. Don't let that stop you from posting your work on social media my friend 💪
Gracias Adrián
De nada!
Sir make video how we can practice web design project. and i know you and belive you you can make video like great web designer. sir do it first plz is my humble request. and also i will meet you one day. what about image based website .
I am a junior UX designer and searchin a job, I've met opposite opinion. Someone doesn't care about your progress and just wants to see your best 'perfect' projects. I would like to share with employers how quick I can study, but nobody cares :(
Results speak louder than words, I think that's why. MHO
Inspiring. For the exercises, where do I get to practice and upload
Thanks! I talk about that in this video!
Is there a difference between front end developer and a web developer ?
I'm not a developer :)
What if you're web designer and developer? 🙂
I'm just a Web Designer myself, so I don’t know how Designer who are also devs promote their work 🤷♂️
Haha..it's been years..
