That was surprising. I ended up with a niche of "helping moms start & grow their business". That was something that never came to my mind before but it resonated with me the most during the exercise. And even more I realised that I don't care about so many niches that I have already served! 😮

I like that one! Noted ;) I want to encourage you to watch my video "High value skills to learn as a freelance Web Designer". It touches on that topic.
that's an awesome technique thank you so much ! It ended with skincare for me. Soooo, let's do it :) also it was fun because every time I paused the video to pick some niches, there was you behind looking at me like "come on you need to find 20 now"
Hey Adrian, thank you so much for your knowledge. 1. Do you think it’s necessary to take one niche or can there be several of them and they don’t necessarily have to be related? For example, if we exclude considerations of revenue and niche demand, in my portfolio I have two online stores - one specializing in musical instruments and the other in clothing. Additionally, there is a promotional website for an artist, an indie online publication covering science, and a website dedicated to cars. Moreover, I sought feedback from an award-winning designer and agency owner to review my profile and resume for improvement. Interestingly, he noted that I possess a distinctive style, particularly resembling that of the fashion industry. He suggested considering this direction and even recommended incorporating animation into my skill set. 2. As a result, what niche or what would you advise me to upgrade? In general, I work in a studio, handling a diverse range of projects. My primary focus areas include healthcare, finance, real estate, and startups. I specialize in creating websites, mobile applications, and web applications for these sectors.
I’ve been doing websites for about 4-5 years and have some nice portfolio examples in various niches that are rarely connected. I’m now trying to build an agency and am completely lost with a niche. What would you suggest? Maybe it’s possible to get some of your time on a paid call? In any case I’m currently considering something in health/wellness and also home services industries. But really can’t figure this out haha

Glad you like them! Like I mention on the video, my niche is freelance Web Designers. I've applied this strategy for BONT which is my consulting business :)
The one thing that stops me niching down - how do you market to those niches? So for example I want to create high end digital experiences for fashion brands and designers. But how to reach designers? How to reach designers that actually have money to invest? That must be a close knit group to break into their circle.
Hey Micheal! I think you need to talk with them like I mention in this video, and do your research to really find out if they NEED a website, and what type of budget would be realistic for those institutions to invest in your services. Without having done any research, I wouldn't build my business on helping ONGs because in general they won't have much money to invest. I would rather work for businesses who have revenue to invest, and then use that profit to help ONGs for free. But hey, you might find churches or religious institutions that have the money and want to invest it in your services. That's up to you to find out by doing the research step I outline in this video. That's really the goal of that step.
If you did the exercises, share your niche here! 👇

Hi Adrian, I want to focus on the Interior designers niche, is it a good niche for Web designers?
I answered that in this video thoroughly :) Watch it again!

Love the videos! What is your niche? From what I've gathered from your content, it seems like you design for multiple niches. Is that correct?
Glad you like them! Like I mention on the video, my niche is freelance Web Designers. I've applied this strategy for BONT which is my consulting business :)
The one thing that stops me niching down - how do you market to those niches? So for example I want to create high end digital experiences for fashion brands and designers. If you find it's too hard to get into a niche, it might not be the best one for you. That's also good feedback you will get from doing the research!
Hey Bont, what do you think of churches and other religious institutions?
Hey Micheal! I think you need to talk with them like I mention in this video, and do your research to really find out if they NEED a website, and what type of budget would be realistic for those institutions to invest in your services. Without having done any research, I wouldn't build my business on helping ONGs because in general they won't have much money to invest. I have never in my life trying to find website church before i go to them. So i believe it's not a good niche.
Am always drawn to finance and education, I never like e-commerce
You're close to your final choice then!
