Harsha was my teacher in 1995 at PIM Sri Jayawardenepure. He taught us Financial Management as a visiting lecturer while working as the Treasurer at DFCC. His knowledge and experience in Finance is a far cry from that of the so-called experts in the Gota regime. May he become the finance minister of our country very soon. The last statement he made in this video is very patriotic. Wish him success.

Dr Harsha De Silva, your a well educated and experienced person indeed and no doubt about it! We trusted you during the last govt and we expected so much from you as a good economist and one of the best initiatives you did to Sri Lanka was 1990 Suwa Seriya which helped millions of people during the pandemic, hence here we're at a stage where we need such a leadership to rebuild Sri Lanka from where we are. However I must say, during the last govt, your hard work was torn apart due to all the corruption happend with the UNP leadership, hence if the same thing happens to continue, you would fail just like the current leadership and the reason why, you need trustworthy, well educated and experienced talent within Sri Lanka to rally around you to support your vision. Wishing you all the best and please help Sri lanka to atleast reach where countries like Vietnam, Kenya and Bangladesh are and create a remarkable and a responsible leadership which we could be proud of. Unfortunately, our country has never used these educated people. They are our own most educated people. But whole world utilizes their valuable knowledge. Sooooo sad!!! He is soooo knowledgeable but just a parliament member.
