The car is good as it is. I would just go with new sticky tires and enjoy the car. Also you might want to add damper pulley shield due to the age of the car. The rubber can come off the pulley and hit the timing belt cover.
I would replace the wheel hubs, shocks/springs, and 4 new tires with alignment. As preventative maintenance. Awesome car!
Hearing the dealer tech just reinforced why I never take my NSX or any other cars to dealers. They are dumb, and charge way too much for basic shit.
Scammed? At the price you paid? It drives and you got a legit title. What more could you ask for?
