i used to have a 93 NSX. man, I know Comptech is no longer around, but I had forgotten about SOS. I wish i still had my NSX, can't afford one now, they went up in value a lot. Also, priorities change as I've gotten older. Maybe one day i'll have another one. For now, I plan on supercharging my 2011 Honda Pilot.
Great Choice. Out of all the JDM’s of the late 90’s (2JZ,RB2.6, FD Rotary, 300ZTT; this car was always the best of them all. Honda reliability, NA VTec, best driving/handling for a daily driver and mostly: the legendary styling. A friend in my town has a 05 t/top with Comptech SC and the rest of the catalog in that rare OEM orange. He got offered to swap for a 2017 in that year and was tempted to trade....until he realized what he had in a 6-spd manual, last year edition with a rare colour. Lucky guy got it for 50K Canadian from a Honda dealership in stock condition before the priced went through the roof. A keeper/collectors car for sure. I wouldn’t sell it either, even though I still bug him to sell it to me every 6 months lol. The Gen 2 is good, but the 6-spd t-tops are GREAT 👍!!!
I've been waiting in anticipation for this supercharger kit. Would like to know more about the tuning package if its part of the kit. The older CT kits didn't have very good engine management. I'm down for a weekend DIY warrior bolt on kit that includes everything to make it work.
The ScienceofSpeed TVS 1900 stage 2 kit includes programmable engine management, which requires tuning. Check out the details here: www.scienceofspeed.com/index.php/nsx/scienceofspeed-tvs-supercharger-nsx-1991-05.html. In the future, a pre-configured option, that does not require tuning, producing about 80 WHP will be available.
As the chassis was tuned to the engine bro as much as the engine and chassis product was made as a package by the one true god Senna what does the massive power increase do to the very track focused chassis ? Love the NSX always have always will and a great bolt on peer boost which looks very worthy of mr Senna
This is DEFINITELY on my bucket list now!
Same
Looking at the price tag and the exchange rate of the ruble against the dollar, I want to cry.
A much needed mod!

Fantastic Chris! Congrats to the SOS Team. 🙌🏾
Looks like I’ll be making another trip to Phoenix someday
Wonder what this could do with the 3.5 then... 🤔😍
I can’t wait for mine Chris! Excellent work!
Awesome! Thank you!

how do you like your supercharger pal?
Outstanding Chris & SoS Team! 👍🏾
I’m thinking of getting it, does it come with instructions
I would definitely add this super charger if i have an NSX 🥲. How engine reliability with this?
Man I can only dream....let alone just to have an NSX... hopefully someday...hehe

Is there a Stage 2/3?
How do I convince a wife that my car needs this air compressor to function, without getting a divorce. 😁😂
I had a 91 nsx I love the car but a little more power would have been fantastic

This particular car is on AEM infinity and a flex fuel tune.

@@ScienceofSpeedLLC will it be cali legal?
@@thefuzzypickle8277 who cares 😅
how did the kit work out for you
Where can I get my hands on 1
would be nice if the top part was design so you could transplant the original logo plate
That is bad ass!!!
Need a drive video please.
damn I need a kit like this for k24 rwd
Checkout merc racing, they make twin screw supercharger kits for fwd and rwd conversion k series
I want it!
Let’s see some pulls on the street where most people’s car lives.
Discontinue yet?
S2000 supercharger possibly next??
🙏😭
S2000 supercharger kit available now: www.scienceofspeed.com/index.php/s2000/enpp/supercharger-turbocharger-components.html
the digital dashboard looks sick, whats it called?
S2000 cluster
there should be more detail on the car used... headers... exhaust.. ecu... etc to achieve the whp...
Which exhaust is the car running? Sounds great! Congrats!
Pride V2 forced induction spec (2.5”) in full titanium, Pride resonated test pipes and CT headers.
🔥🔥🔥
If only I can afford a NSX
Apply for Carb certification so we can get in cali.
cool
What was the compression ratio and boost?
9.5:1 compression at 13lbs of boost
13.2 PSI. Engine static compresson is 9.5:1.
Any any plans for a 15 psi pulley?
@@CarsandBikes Smaller pulleys are available for engines that can support the additional power.
Make this for J series
Lol surely there is a mad man out there willing to chuck a turbo on as well.
man ol man

So basically keep my distance from that NSX if I see it on the road
I think those twin screws of yours might be able to make it fun!
Adamlz $15k he said it himself.
Awesome!! Hubby is super excited to get her back :) @ky_larkins (IG)
