When you think about how influential of a series Mario is, it's possible that this guy got into the game industry because of Mario. And now he gets to make a Mario game. That's gonna be my headcanon anyway.

I saw a leaked picture of the game a few days ago and had absolutely no interest in it. Then the Ubisoft Conference happened. This is now a must buy for me as soon as i get a Switch later this year. What a cool crossover idea.

I didn't think I would be at all interested in this, but they're basically making a slapstick X-COM. I'm absolutely down for that.
somehow, this alone made the Rabbids more classy.
This and Mario Odyssey in the same year. My inner child is most pleased.

This has been the greatest surprise of the show so far (pre Nintendo presentation). I first thought it was a terrible idea....and then I saw it in action. Lovely! Hope you can add more Nintendo characters to your army through amiibo. Samus' cannon is perfect in this instance.
Everything with Nintendo will make me happy, you reacting to it makes it all the much better. Where some people would make fun of something like this, you all laugh, get excited and sincerely enjoy what's going on. Love and Respect to all of you!

I didn't know I needed this game.... but I do... oh baby do I need it.
The game drew so much skepticism but surprised everyone with how good it is and now, we finally have that sequel.
Looks awesome and is releasing so soon, I like Nintendo's Insistence on showing 2017 games in e3, better than waiting two or three years after e3.

100% My potato of a laptop can barely run XCOM 2. So, I'll buy War of the Chosen and this.
My immediate thought was "Oh crap, Miyamoto's packing heat and he's DONE WITH THE CONSOLE WAR!"
I was like the one guy (hyperbole obvs) excited for this before the reveal and it even surpassed my expectations. That was amazing :D

I was one of the very few people that expected this game to be legittimately good since when they leaked that the gameplay was X-COM-like and I'm really happy that my hopes were met with quality gameplay

This game could get me to buy a switch. Wasn't expecting it. I also dreamt of a FFTactics 2 with those graphics and more thiings in the battlefield.

I can understand why the guys thought this conference was kind of lack luster, but I think we were really spoiled last year. There were so many crazy announcements of things we hadn't heard of yet, (God of War, Death Stranding, Spider-Man, RE7). I don't think they had anything up their sleeves that could come close to those announcements. I still prefer this style of conference over Microsoft style. We still have a bunch of great PS4 only games to look forward to in the future.
I love mario, I love Xcom, and as for Rabbids...well... the only Rabbids game I've ever played I put down after 5 minutes. So we'll see how this goes, definitely looks promising though!

This game looks really good and fresh ...
I just hope there's enough content in there, because it looks a bit linear and if you go after the leaked papers there are only 4 worlds and 4 Bosses ... hopefully it's not too short

I know they care about the game they're making but it makes NO SENSE to have Mario (Even more so with an XCOM style game w/guns) and Rabbids (Video Game version of Minions). What are you doing Nintendo? You're confusing the hell out of me. What are you doing to my heart?
A touch base device is a perfect game machine for turn based strategy game. However, this game is not the game that is going to make me buy the Switch as I am not a fan of Mario at all - actually I am close to having zero interest in anything related to Mario or Pokemon.
If the game is XCOM or Phoenix Point, I maybe a little bit tempted to get the Switch.
