Carisoprodol 300 mg/5 mL
Flavor concentrate 7-8 gtts
Artificial Sweetener 100 mg
Methylcellulose 2% gel qs 60mL
Disp 2 oz
Procedure
1.Calibrate the 2 oz amber bottle with water.
2.Weight out 3.6 g of carisoprodol and place in a mortar.
3.Weigh out 100 mg of sweetener and add to the carisoprodol powder. Add powdered food color and triturate the mixture
4.Add 30-40 mL of methyl cellulose 2% solution and flavor to the contents of the mortar and triturate until uniform in color and consistency.
5.Use rubber spatula to remove the mixture from mortar and place it in a 60 mL bottle, qs to final volume using 2% methyl cellulose solution.
6.Label your product.
