    Hey Jo,
I love everything about your workouts: your positivity, the beginner-friendly exercises and moves. 🎉
I'm suffering from knee pains and at the moment I have a broken wrist, but still enjoying your workouts and the good sweat. 😂
    THANK YOU!!!

I have just broken my hand/wrist and after the hospital discharge , i needed more help.
I saw the Utube and their was a welsh, Scottish. Person who just sat and went thru the steps.
I was still having pain comminuted break .
I woke up this morning and the pain had totally gone , I did not have to wear my wrist // hand at all.
I was so startled that I nearly fell over.!
The voice and sound is not good BUT she is fantastic.
    Thanks so much

Hi, thanks for posting. I have broken wrist both radius and ulna.
Now 1 week now after cast removed. First day ver soar and after a few days it felt better and I just did exercises like yours by myself.
I see PT doctor in two weeks time . ( after 3 weeks cast removal as there is a queue !)
My questions, the wrist sometimes feel warm heat up on the two ends of wrists but no pain.,is it normal?
Also the doctor only saw the x-ray and said ok, cast can be removed and in the other room, nurse just took the cast off and after that not seen by anyone and got sent me home.
The wrist is little crooked, is ok?

    • @they_luv_benji3831
      @they_luv_benji3831 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

If it looks a little crooked it is fine just try to exercise it so it resets itself, yes the heat is normal it is just your body resetting mostly but it could also be fighting infection, if that the case just take antibiotics

@@Georgi_Slavov hi George. This says my comment was a year ago, but my injury was 4/8/21 So it's actually been closer to two years.
I have full function of my thumb, no stiffness. The other 4 fingers in my hand are stiff. There's a pull when stretch my fingers out.
I've lost the backward flex in the last joint of my fingers.
My index finger had been the most stubborn. I've got it to the point where I can just alllmost curl the tip of my index finger to my palm. But it's not easy and requires concentration... It's very stiff!
I can't bend my four fingers backwards all at once at a right angle. This is something i notice whenever I'm getting up off the ground The best I can do is 45°.

@@laurieparis2203 i managed to fracture my left distal r. exactly 3 months ago.Surgery, titanium plate, but it still hurts like hell, have some 70 % flexibility, i d say.I find it interesting how physiotherapy is advertised here, since it clearly does not work at all,and costs a lot of money (if you don't do it at home). Most people report there is no effect at all,i consider trying cortisone shots now.

    • @laurieparis2203

@@Georgi_Slavov hi Georgi. First off, just wanted to say I'm so sorry you're having to go thru all this. It's such a scary thing, our hands are so important to us. My dominant hand was broken too, which meant I had to learn how to write (badly) with my no dominant hand while my right healed, learn how do stuff like open cans, brush hair and teeth, get into and out of clothes, man, it was a challenge! To top it off, I'm an artist, so my hands, and fine muscle control are extremely important to me. I got the titanium plate, too, they also did a carpel tunnel release.
My advice is don't give up! The more you work your hands, the better your outcome. Nutrition is important, too. No drinking, smoking, get your sleep. Make sure you get enough protein. B vitamins for your nerve healing
If you can't afford physical therapy, you can use the TH-cam for ideas. An exercise that is really helpful for starters, is picking up marbles ( or beans) several at a time and putting them into a jar. Buy some therapy putty online and practice squeezing it into different shapes. Massage your fingers and palm with your good hand. Open your fingers really strait and wide, make them into a fist. You can do this any time all during the day.
Take care, and don't give up! 🫂
