- After the events of Onderon, Colonol Tobin returned to his master to relay Kreia's message of there being Jedi on Telos, hoping that his master can feed and take Onderon. Instead, Tobin joined the ranks of his zombie crew.

I love the words, "No, not Jedi, not Jedi at all." Across the game we're told there is no difference between the Jedi and Sith. But Tobin, who has experienced defeat by the Jedi and subjugation by the Sith knows there is one and the difference between the two spans a galaxy.
Also some of the people who see Jedi and Sith as being basically the same are well... a little bit skewed to say the least. Atton Rand doesn't really hold either the SIth or the Jedi in particularly high esteem, but he was also a ruthless killer who hunted down Jedi because he enjoyed it. So his perspective comes across as more than a little tainted by his past and worldview.
@@HellqueenRoz one thing me and Kreia agreed on was Atton being a fool.
@@HellqueenRoz even the supposed brute Mandalore knows there's a clear difference between Jedi and Sith. He even says a galaxy controlled by the Jedi is much better than if it were controlled by the Sith.

You can persuade Colonel Tobin to help the team, sacrificing himself by detonating the proton cores inside the Ravager.
I managed to do that on my second playthrough. It's ironic, his patriotism is what drove to do his deeds that led him here. Something that Kreia preaches throughout the game. Jedi and Sith being slaves to their principles, like Tobin here. And look where it got him. Not saying that this line of thinking is a bad thing, like being in service to others, but it felt good to free Tobin from this personal Hell for a bit.
If Star Wars has its own "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse", then Nihilus is definitely Famine.

Visitormassacre Dathka Graush would have to be death since he conquered all of his species and was obsessed with death and experimented on the dead.
Darth Nihilis = Famine
Darth Malgus = War
Darth Vader = Conquest
Darth Sidious = Death
Maybe Death would be Darth Vitiate or Darth Sidious
Darth Nihilis = Famine (Literally the lord of hunger, and he ate entire planets simply to fill his endless hunger. Enough said)
Darth Malgus = War (Grew on war, fought in war, knew only war, thrived for war, and was reborn for war.)
Darth Sidious = Pestilence (Infected the republic, crumbling it from the inside, and then infected the clone troopers to do his bidding when the time came. The man won by sickening his enemies until he could arise without issue.)
Lord Vitiate = Death (The man conquered death, multiple times, and in numerous ways. He actually killed an entire planet of powerful force wielders and when when thought killed numerous times, arose. He is DEATH.)
The Fact that Nihilus is holding the Ship together with The Force is insane.
Not to mention this ship probably uses a Hyperdrive, meaning he's holding it together during Hyperdrive Travel as well.
And even more insane when you realize he’s holding the ship when in hyperspace.
But you still needed to blow the ship up with explosives even after Nihilus is dead.
Not just the ship, but his entire fleet.
He's certainly no pushover when it comes to Force powers even without his signature drain.

Thats so acuratte It makes me sad, kotor 2 really is a intelectual masterpiece, at least when it comes to vídeo games in general

@@imperialwyvern the rule of 2 was established AGES ago, well before Disney, by Drew Karpyshan. Of course George Lucas basically stated it, just without the name in TPM, so don't blame disney for everything you dislike you sad child.

Colonel Tobin exists to show the player the consequences of being unable to turn away from power; he is a microcosm of the Jedi who turned to follow Revan at the end of the Mandalorian Wars.
The slaves were creepy as hell in this game.
Kotor 2 was a masterpiece unfinished

Every year I come back and watch videos from kotor but this is by far my favorite video. Just a masterclass game

I actually persuaded him to stay behind to make sure that the bombs activated. So I helped redeem Tobin. I played through my latest playthrough as a mastered light side jedi with minimal casualties. I didn't kill Vaklu, but aided Talia. So the legal process of Onderon will execute Vaklu. He did not die by my hands.

It's in the Microsoft Store for like 10 bucks and it doesn't take up much space either. I think KOTOR is 8gb? And this game is like 4 or 6GB. Happy Gaming, my dude.
I seem to remember Azkul being on board the Ravager, but I always encountered Tobin instead... was it the Mandela effect?
If you help Azkul on Dantooine he shows up on Citadel station, but never have I seen him on the Ravager.

I love your enthusiasm, and I'm doing the best I can. But there's several reason why can't do it more often. Sure, they are more difficult to make, but also more rewarding. But the game is finite and eventually I'm going to upload everything I can. So I have to diversify and upload videos on other games that I am a fan of. Also I am still a college student, and my thesis is moving slowly, but moving, kind of.

If only Nihilus was as powerful in-game as Tobin says. The fight against him is not difficult or grand enough.
I’m not even the type of gamer that likes crazy challenges, I just wish the battle against Nihilus was more satisfying.
Most of his power is sucking away life, he uses pawns and soldiers that are already dead. He’s a living echo. In hand to hand combat he’s mediocre considering most of his power holds that ship together.
You can’t beat nihilism persay, you just have to overcome it. The fact that you confront and end it is the point. But I agree it would have been more satisfying were he a bigger challenge in combat
He was that strong in Tobin's mind wasn't he. The mind is reality.
He is as powerful as Tobin says even in game, its just that he is pretty much like the exile himself. Both are wounds formed at Malachor V, since The Exile is already dead in the force, nihilius can not feed on him and it is that which makes the Exile his perfect counter. Also, Nihilius is pretty much what the exile would become without his own mental contraints.
Exile left the force completely at Malachor while Nihilius became too dependent on it
The fight was "easy" because Nihilus was just....NOT powerful.
Just because his insane subjects say something about him, that doesn't mean they speak the truth.
The power he projected was never his to begin with. The "power" left him the moment he tried to drain the Exile and what remained was only HIS power, and it wasn't much.

Darth Nihilus is the best sith

Nihilus was an interesting character yes, unbeatable? Oh no, he was weaker than top tiers to be honest.
I mean Nihilus did try to force drain the exile
@@CryonicCy Force drain is easy to evade if one is gifted with the force. His scariest ability is unstoppable against weak or moderate force users but not against master levels. Force absorption is there for that purpose. Sion was easy pie for him because Sion only knows how to duel, he is not very into force techs. Try Raven, he is really strong at both dueling and force techs. Than we will see how scary Nihilus really is.

Nihilus's Force drain isn't normal force drain. How would using the force against something that drains it work? It's like trying to protect yourself from a fire by pouring gasoline all over youself. The only reason the Exile resisted was because she was also a wound in the force. It was like a vampire trying to feed off a black hole.
