I've got a 2021 Ram 1500 crewcab, Towing package, 4x4 offroad package (gives it a factory 1" strut lift).
I'm thinking of going for the 2" level kit which should get me to a 3" total lift or so.
Then I'm going up from a 275/55/R20 (31.91"x10.83"x5.95") to a 295/65R20. (35.1"x11.61"x7.75")
I bent a rim on the freeway with the "low profile" sidewalls this last winter. I'm going for bigger tires an sidewalls to avoid that.
Nice job bro, some place cost $600+ for parts and labor. With this video I'm getting this part for $72 and install it myself. Thanks again.
BEAUTIFUL. TRUCK. JUST BEAUTIFUL
Nice job! Looks great!
No lock tight for the new nuts on the spacer?
Great Video! How was getting the upper control arms back on? Any issues with the upper control arms once installed? How does it drive? Thinking about with the same leveling kit on mine.
Took a little bit of prying, no sign of wear after 6 months now, drives better then stock. Anything over 3" level I would recommend new arms, but with this one does not have a lot of tension on the arms at all.
Anyone notice any MPG difference with them? I mean, I know it’s already not great. Just curious
Ain’t no way that 2.5 is perfectly level. Illl go either way the 2
Looks clean when it’s nice and even
thanks for the video im waiting to get mine delivered monday
Awesome! Definitely a must !
Do you have the 3.6L engine?
Update on the 2.5? I’m doing 2”. 2.5 may raise it to high? Idkno im getting mixed answers
Yea 2 is perfect
I havent had mine apart yet, is that upper arm plastic?
Yeah, don't hit the wife's washer and dryer, there will be hell to pay 😄
😂
Great video, are those the factory wheels .?
Yes factory. 20 inch ram wheels
What size are those wheels ?
Hows the level working out? Still good?
sold the truck, but it was great with no issues for the year I had it!
Have you had any problems with this? I want to do this but I don’t want to deal with headaches later down the road. Please get back to me nobody in other videos have been replying to me letting me know how it is holding ip
Hey Justin, I have had 0 issues or complains about this leveling kit. Had it for about 8 months now, love the handling, truck just feels better overall. Just make sure you do alignment after.
Truck bounces all the time damage ball joint and wheel hub bearing looks nice but after a year you’ll see the damages
@@mannyhate6666 I ended up finding a much more expensive spacer mount but it has the factory size holes on the top where the strut tower usually sits so there won’t be any bushings going in and out of that larger hole that comes with the cheap spacers hopefully that kills the problem we shall see down the road I haven’t had any problems and it’s been about four or five months now
U know if it’s same 2wd or 4wd I do a lot of side jobs and someone wants one done on a 2wd
4 wheel is different
Do you need to have an alignment after?
Yes, it is recommended because suspension parts were slightly adjusted.
Does it affect the suspension or the way it drives?
in my opinion made it better
Does your truck have off-road package?
yes it is
How are they holding up.. lots of people say they have problems down the road
Absolutely amazing. I haven’t heard anyone have issues. I put about 5k miles on it already. No regrets at all.
Does it waste more gas after the lift
Yes
Didn't`t notice a change
Thanks
In about 1yr you'll probably start to hear squeaking coming from the front.
Nope.
so far so good
Don’t use these…..the hole is too large and the strut will travel too far, the ride sucks and your truck will develop groans and squeaks….if you want proof I will email or text pictures of the spacer lift after two years. Waste of money and time. Buy a real leveling kit with the control arm
This is not my first leveling kit. Never had any issues. But that does suck.
Nope. I run the same kit. It's 3 years & 30k miles later. Rides as good as stock with 34.8 Ridge Grapplers.
These are not a good idea for lifting your vehicle, if anybody tells you that then don't listen to them.. after 10000 miles you'll be thanking me. get what you pay for.
It`s been over 20k still no issues, I also have done multiple leveling kits on various cars. If you know what you are doing and not over extending the control arms I do not see an issue with it.
@@tractiongarage it's a shitty way to level terrible ride quality and if you know what you're doing then you don't use pucks to level your 50k truck the way I see it is why spend 50k and use a 70$ level and not to mention yes uca not extended but you springs and shocks are taking a beating so are you upper and lower bjs happy trails though
@@--emt mine damaged ball joint and wheel hub bearing after about 10000 miles not mention terrible driving quality looks nice but would not recommend
@@--emt I used a 2.5" level kit on my Jeep GC with all stock components. 5 years 50k miles and zero issues. Off roaded on beach and never wore out anything. Rode completely like stock. I don't see a 2.5" kit causing any problems if properly installed.
Definitely the wrong way. Use a lift. Way to many issues down the road.
