OMG these things are a pain to clean!!! You get that oil all over the place and the machine (the one I deal with) has all these little crevices where kernels get stuck in, and tiny spaces where NOTHING seems to fit and the metal will cut your hand if you try to stick it in.
Its ridiculous man. There is no easy way to clean these things. Im currently trying to refurbish mine that has a lot of rust. Taking the whole thing apart is a chore. Sanding, sanding, sanding, then priming and painting. Ive been at it for a week now😂.
I’ve had my 8oz Paragon popcorn machine for years and never had these issues. It’s been easy to clean. Only ones I’ve ever used that did have issues or were a pain to clean were poor quality ones like Olde Midway (ok quality, but didn’t last too long and replacement parts weren’t readily available, pain to clean), great northern (similar quality to olde midway, though I like their popcorn packets), Nostalgia (by far the worst brand I’ve ever owned and an absolute piece of garbage). Pretty much any knockoff from Amazon is going to be garbage. Paragon machines are cheaper to buy from 3rd parties than from the manufacturer, so I bought mine from Home Depot though I got it a little cheaper with a military discount. My wife and I love it for movie nights, and she’s used it to sell popcorn at the local farmers market.
Very concise and easy instructions! I needed help cleaning my leasing office popcorn machine.✨🙏🏾
