I think this is for the Pro S version only and not Pro because I don't see this option in the Vehicle screen and when I saw the feature to close the mirrors, that's a Pro S feature only and not a Pro feature.

Thanks for your very in depth videos! Question…Why don’t I have the reverse mirror lowering and retractable mirror features in my Pro S? I’m confused. Did I purchase a 2023 Pro disguised as a Pro S?

I am not exaclty sure, but it could be the mirror motors, or sensors. This feature is not actually mentioned on the order guides or the trim comparisons unfortunately, so it is hard to know which model it came with, but you would definitely expect it on the Pro S. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful

Check your Monroney label. You probably received a credit because it wasn't included in your car even though your car technically should have had it.

Only one mirror or do you have to repeat it for the driver’s side? Which years?

In EU, this option is currently available only in cars with electric seats...

that's interesting, I wonder why, maybe the circuit is the same

Yes, I’m in the uk, my 2022 ID4 pro was made in the EU though - in Germany (so wish we hadn’t left 😢 but that’s another story) and it doesn’t have the electric seats either, so unfortunately not an option on mine. Wish it had though, looks a great feature, would be very useful to have available. I’ve got the ‘life’ trim so maybe that’s why. Thanks anyway.

@@Brandonsellscars525because reverse tilt down feature require memory module. Memory module also controls seat memory, so if your seat is manual then this module does not exist or is factory-disabled - that is my guess

So sad, I have a 23 model and just the left mirror I was able to setup it oO
The right just won’t work…. (Ireland model not sure of the driving position would change something, o did have this feature available on both mirrors on my old Tiguan 😢)

@@0ekintar0 I believe the driving position will change how it works, the function is for passenger side mirror only, because it is mostly useful when you want to check how close is your vehicle to the road side curb. And most of the time it doesn't help if you implement the same feature on the driver side mirror, because that would mean you are parking on the wrong side of the road
