    Haha, I knew you moved the mirror adjuster to get it to dip but the preset was miles to low and wide. I’ve just adjusted mine after watching your video. Much better! 🍻🍻

    Thx. I'm setting my Born with same procedure. It was totally off.
    Stupid have to use mirror R selection every time.

    Eh? This is so complicated that by the time I'd get it working I would have forgotten why I wanted to reverse in the first place.

      You.. Set it once?

    I have id.3 and it doesn't have memory seats, but I can also set this. And you don't need to shut-off the car after setting it.

    Thanks for The tip.
    However, after doing this process the side mirror does not go down automatically when car is in reverse - I still need to put the button in R every time I reverse in order for the mirror to go down…!?

    • @EV.Furkan
      @EV.Furkan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup... Downside of the digital knob. It resets to nothing. Manual stays at R.

    Thanks for this tip. I’ve just noticed the birds eye view (1:40) of your car while in reverse. Is this option available in the US? Can you do demonstrate how to turn this feature on?

    How about left mirror

    • @EV.Furkan
      @EV.Furkan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      only for right hand drive... or use OBD11, there is a setting somewhere to enable this for both mirrors

  • @KasperCDK
    @KasperCDK 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Its not correct that you have to do all that. Just did it again to test.
    1. Put into reverse.
    2. Turn nop to Right Mirror and adjust where you want the mirror angle.
    3. Turn the nop to left mirror and start driving forward.
    Next time you set the car to reverse, turn nop to right mirror the mirror will turn to the disired angle from before.

    • @EV.Furkan

      Your way it does save to your normal view, but wont dip when reversing.what I showed is the exact steps whats told in the manual.

    • @kasperolsen-lai6228
      @kasperolsen-lai6228 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But you still have to turn the nub to the R position every time you go in reverse - no way to make the mirror go down when in reverse as default … sucks

      It’s not that hard and you only do it once. Most of the setting are preset to what you need, you just adjust the mirror to what you want to see when reversing.

      try this
      From the manual
      Storing and activating front passenger exterior mirror settings for reversing
      Unlock the vehicle with the vehicle key to which the settings should be assigned.
      Select reverse gear.
      Adjust the front passenger exterior mirror so that you can see the kerb area, for example.
      Put the gearbox in neutral position.
      Switch off the ignition.
      The settings for the mirror position will be saved and assigned to the vehicle key.
      Activating the front passenger exterior mirror setting for reversing:
      Turn the rotary knob for the exterior mirrors to position L.
      Select reverse gear while the ignition is switched on. The right exterior mirror will now adjust itself to the stored position.
      The front passenger exterior mirror will move out of the position saved for reversing when the vehicle is driven forwards faster than approximately 15 km/h (9 mph) or when the rotary knob is moved out of position to another position.
