- ZLRC Beast SG906 Pro 2 is a WiFi FPV GPS smart drone that is equipped with a 4K Camera on a dual axis stabilized gimbal. This Drone offers attractive GPS and aerial filming features which I am going to test in this complete video review. Most of the features work very well. Few features as advertised do not work properly. 2 axis camera gimbal does the job but camera still records lots of shakes. All in all it is a good drone with many cool features that work very well. But it needs much refinement before it can become a competitive aerial filming drone. Enjoy the video. And decision is all yours.

Pro2 has a 3-axis gimbal, not a 2-axis gimbal, from what you can see in your video, you have the Pro version, not the Pro2
i thought the same and using older battery not the 7.6 version it has the 2 axis wobble
@@gooddaysdroningmattgoode4353 Despite having 3 axis, the SG906 pro 2 still wobbles side to side a lot. Its gimbal is not very effective.

@@JohnWick-tc1xy the gimbal kinda sucks f11 4k pro's gimbal is better but no optical flow sensor but the video pro 2 and pro quite decent for the price and they do have optical flow sensor so if you're a pro then get the f11 4k pro but if you still a beginer then get the sg906 pro 2
@@nicholasoas9282 the f11 4k pro does have EIS. That means we don't know how good the gimbal of the F11 is without EIS.
Personally I find the F11 4k Pro better for Videos and the SG906 Pro2 better for photos.

The pro 2 should come with 3400mah batterys, the pro has 2800mah, you sure you got the pro2????

You have the 2800mA battery . It is for pro, not pro2.
This is the best most honest review of the sg906. I have this drone he described it perfect. I use the zLL rc that doesn't crash

Yup sounds like the Pro version ... it had the camera that shudders when raisng or lowering the camera .. they fixed that in the Pro 2 version and made the up and down camera pan smooth
I agree. You received and reviewed the SG906 Pro, not the Pro2. You were taken. They sent it in a Pro 2 box, where did you buy it? The Pro 2 has a 3 axis gimbal and a 7.6V 3400mAh battery.
congratulations my friend! for your video, I bought the second drone from Eachine ex4, I liked this one because it’s a 2-axis gimbal, but then I’ll buy an SG906 with a 3-axis gimbal. BRAZIL
get the SG908, its better than every version of the 906, much better range of 1.2kn.
On the beast pro, if you put Zoom just on, say 3 you can wipe up and down on the screen to get a smooth camera tilt. lots of things to try with this baby. The Sony front camera shoots 4k 9mp so it's the load speed into the SD card that needs to be souped up and we could then have a full 4k video platform. Some slight wobbles can be fixed up in post. Remember the value for money in this 3 axis gimbal drone. I've got a pro with a pro 2 on the way.

It's only around $150-175 dollars. A lot of features for pretty cheap. GPS Auto Take Off and Land, Alt Hold and enough sense to return when the battery says to.

For $150 I couldn't pass it up.
I have the Hubsan 507A with GPS, and the H107D I think. All GPS I think.
The SG700D is another great quad. No GPS, but it has Position Hold. They call it Optical Flow I believe. It uses the bottom camera to hold itin place. It really works well too.
Not a Pro 2 has only 2-axis gimbal battery should be 7.6V, this is a regular pro.
zlrc have very recentlt brought out the SG908.
3-axis gimbal, 1.2km control range and 800 metre wifi video range.

The first SG906 have better Position LED great to see them the PRO LEDs are not so good, little LEDs. The SD card slot in the PRO is very good.

Hi, I still have the a problem. What happens is that when I turn everything on, I calibrate it, etc ... It takes too long to collect the GPS satellites and go to mode 2 (I can spend up to 8 minutes sometimes waiting for it to take satellites and go to mode 2 and sometimes not it does). And I'm sure it's something on the drone because I previously had the MJX Bugs 2c, and almost a few seconds after the calibration, I had several GPS satellites.

Your drone is NOT. A sg906 Pro 2. Its the simple sg906 pro. Because the pro 2 has a 3 axis gimbal. Seems you were scamed

Hello .. I just want to know so far you have this drone, how is the quality battery?
Because I have drone JJRC X12 with the bad quality battery! The battery from jjrc , I keep in the room temperatur (77 F) the battery pack get swallowing so the battery cover come open slowly!
I buy the new battery , and the same , bad quality!!!
I won't go into it but I had to buy a new SG906 Pro2. I just went with the "drone only" option seeing as I had everything else from my first purchase.
Anyway, I turn drone on, turn remote on, turn wifi on, phone connects to drone wifi, I turn on app but when I hit calibration it says "please connect to device first". Everything seems to be working fine up until that point. Any ideas? This never happened with my first one.
P.S. the start up sound to the new one is slightly different.

when connected to WIFI, and it asked you to connect another way, do you say yes, I can only go 35meters high, and the camera stops working, cheer's
fyi after you calibrate the gyro you need also to calibrate the gimbal camera

Went through my usual sources to try to find an SG 906 Pro 2 as accurately shown on the printing on the box you show in review. Can't seem to find a source as yet. Not sure if YT will let you put source link here... but maybe a contact on FB under my name for source. Thanks. meanwhile trying to find a few moments to try to learn to fly a cheaper drone... but in Deep South Texas in Late Aug it is 105F during the day...and dusk the mosquitoes hurt more than being hit by a wayward drone...lol... Maybe when PRO2 comes in the weather will be better for learning to fly... Thanks.

This isn't the Pro 2 then. It's the Pro. The Pro 2 has a 3 Axis Gimbal. What turns me away from this drone is the APP. If the app isn't improved, why would anyone buy it?
I added 128GB mini SD card but the drone will NOT record to SD card. Is there a trick to make it save to SD? I seem to forget to stop the video before shutting off and it does not record. Is there anyway to update software on drone?
I think the maximum capacity is 32gb, although some people report 64gb working.

The pro 2 has a 3 axis gimbal not 2. Its sad it don't work well.

I subscribed. Great and thourough review just the wrong drone. This is the pro but not the pro 2. Almost the same in every aspects except the battery and the 3 axis gimble versus 2 on the pro. This was my first drone. For the price, you cannot beat this.

Your review is for the version with 2-axis gimbal, and it clearly shows problems with video shaking and to fast moves of cam. I wonder when ZLRC / ZLL will correct these mistakes. Obviously they did not manage to fix this in the new PRO 2 version either. Even with electric adjustment camera and Mechanical 3axis Gimbal the video is unstable from drone moves, camera positioning and motor vibrations. When will this be fixed ZLRC?
if these manufacturers can manage to resolve these issues, they will leave DJI behind hahaha. but DJI and FIMI are on top for a reason. Good highly experienced Programmers and engineers.

Turn your phones airplane mode on , then switch on Wifi, all phones will work you just have to know how 😉

drone is broadcasting 5g wifi while all mobilephones are usually capable of receiving 2.4ghz wifi. what is the solution ???

Hey guys just wanna let you know there is a different app called gps drone . Has a blue drone on it. It works way better than the Hfun pro app

Video Jello seems the same as the SG906 Pro . If this is really the Pro 2 , then video is not any better IMO.

@@bmc3024 I recently got a pro 2, and in addition to the 3 axis gimbal and 3400mah LiHV battery, only one of the antennas is fake. I think they've stopped making them though, as this seemed to be the last stock and was selling at a very low price for the 11/11 sale.
That is not the pro 2, that's the sg906 pro whit 2 axis gimbal. The box that you have is not the correct, the pro 2, has 3 Axis. The pro 2 Axis

i think you can get a used DJI mini drone cheaper than this and that will still be 200% better than this one

It's pro, not pro2 regardless of what the box says. Wrong battery and wrong gimbal. In addition it seems that you've decided that you didn't like it before you even started it. 'Gotta give it to it' ...
The gimbal should be more stable
The results not so good because you forgot to calibrate the gyroscope
Fimi A3 is the best GPS follow-me drone. My Aosenma CG035 is a disaster. Won't hold position. Haven't had the chance to try follow-me. Takes off bye bye.
you might have done the compass calibration wrong. plus you need to wait for Radio Controller GPS and Drone GPS to lock all satellites before doing calibration of compass and flying.
@@alishanmao I've tried several times. Legs are broken. The optical flow sensor broken, it smelled burned right form the start. I used the VAST software. But I'll gather more courage and try again. I will probably end up in the canal.

put youre phone in airplane mode so you do not get any interference..

Atención, que nadie compré el Dron Gs906 y Gs906 Pro. El desarrollador de la aplicación Hfun, ha inutilizado la aplicación en su última actualización V1.0.66, y lo peor es que no quiere solucionarlo, la imagen lleva un retrasó de casi un minuto, el wifi se desconecta constantemente y la aplicación se queda congelada. El desarrollador se lava las manos, no contesta a las quejas, el email es falso y la página Web tampoco da explicaciónes, no tiren su dinero.
just use any other WiFi GPS Drone app and it will work.
