Born and raised in Texas. 49 yrs. We've had a melting pot of diversity for as long as I remember. Once you visit Texas that stigma or stereotype goes away real quick lol. 4th largest metropolitan city in the country. Suburban surrounding areas of Houston are much nicer😊 Texas is huge, some parts are mountainous. Hopefully you'll come back to visit for BBQ. Austin, Dallas, and more. Thank you, I'm a fan .
Born and raised in TX. Wrong time to go, humidity 🥵. The devil called and he wants his weather back. BUT I LOVE MY TEXAS! Don't forget to buy your cowboy hat, Steve!... Review the BIG TEXAN in Amarillo, bro!
These comparisons are so cool to me, because as a Texan visiting Cali, I saw a lot of the Texas hill country in SF! There's always more to see though, so come back again and visit someplace new!
Hi Rockstar eater!!! Let's go to Texas & eat everything!!! We can go to my friend Franklin's BBQ for brisket!!! His brisket is amazing!!! 😁😍🖤😈🤘👊🍄🇺🇸🥩🍻🍺🥂🍷🥃🚬🔥🔥🔥
Dallas native since 2000 here , if your ever here you have to check out this bbq place in mesquite called “mesquite bbq” (i know its not a special name lol) but it is hands down the most iconic and delicious bbq in the city .
The way most people speak in Houston, my hometown, is pretty much what is considered the "standard" american accent around the world, found in pretty much all major cities across the US, unless you were raised in more rural areas, or the parents have an accent, most people in big cities will will have a pretty similar accent
Man, they had the accent. You just didn't notice it because of normal conversation. Go to some local dive bar and you'll hear words in places that don't make sense but it makes sense, and when we get animated it gets pretty egregious. Otherwise it's a slow and low
Houston is on the flood plains of Texas, so it is flat. Also you are near the Gulf of Mexico, So yeah, humidity. That said, the Houston food culture is underrated.

Coming from a Californian that moved to Texas 10 years ago, Texans hate people that say "I'm from California " or " In California we...".

Lovely 👍👍💛🧡
If you are in Houston, gotta go to Uchi. Great Japanese restaurant- not your typical Japanese food… gotta get the fried milk dessert.
Yum

"Salt Lick Burnt Ends", put it in your note!!
El Paso is VERY mountainous. It has a lot of Mexican influence like LA but not Tijuana lol

Houston 🙈not the best of Texas 🤫😎Rickster
High speeds in California 😂😂😂👎nope 😎Rickster. You didn’t see Texas at all probably just where all the California crowd is 🙈😩
Isn't the area around Ninfas kinda dangerous?
We new age Texans (1994 for me) have the ability to switch on/off the accent when needed
