    E-tune contact : youtube@bdalchemist.com in this video I go over a ruff estimate of what it cost to make a 1000 horse power evo, and some alternative cheaper options. I go over fuel system, turbo, clutch, drive train mods, ignition system needed. I also propose a alternative to this build which would get an evo to 1000hp +

      who cares about 4g63 anymore, those are granny engines, all about 4b11t now. So no video has to be made, customer bought, 900hp on 4b11t if done by reliable shop from stock your looking at 45-50k with built block and motec 150, 22k for boltons/turbokit(6466)/clutch/cmc/e85 with labor, 20k for engine including labor, 10k for motec 150.

    Great Video and break-down of parts, labor, and requirement to support the build. Also, people need to know that yearly maintenance is a requirement from season to season. A general video about what people will need to do to keep a high HP car running would also help some viewers. Thanks

    Thats actual quite reasonable as prices go. I know that supras and gtrs even tho they are known as the best tuner engines often cost 50-70k to get to 1000hp. Now i know they are probably more reliable and will be able to go past 1000hp quite a bit. But I think evos are some of the greatest cars to modify

    Man that’s a pretty penny. I wouldn’t want a 1000hp anyway. Maybe you should do a video on a 500-600hp evo, I’d be very interested in that! My favorite evo is Ozzie Perez’s white evo 8 that Matt Farrah reviewed. That thing was insane making like 650! But anyways this was a great and informative video, I was always curious about what it takes for these 1000hp power Evos. 🤘

    Good content brother! What aftermarket ecu do you use & recommend for your customers when they want to move away from stock? What is required to run R35 coils on stock ecu, dwell times only need adjusting or more? I'm contemplating them but my Denso Yaris cop kit is fine for up to 35psi but don't think much more though

    • @bdalchemist
      @bdalchemist  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I like haltech and aem. For gtr coils u need to wire them in and adjust dwell time/charge time

      @@bdalchemist hey mate, oh yeah, not many cars or tuners doin aem in Australia! Plenty Haltech though, the factory is 10mins from my house! So you'd go the Elite 1500? There's a set up available now I can buy used cheap.. You used Links g4+/x? Motec m130 or Emtron kv8 are other options but will cost a fair bit more! They have PNP & standalone options

    Hi. I have a stupid question...if i tune an evo with these parts but limiting the power to 500 hp...it will make it more reliable?It can have 1000...but i don.t want to use the full power

    • @bdalchemist
      @bdalchemist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes ur engine would be more reliable , but rest of the car is a other matter, the less complex u make a car's system the more reliable it becomes.

    Are head/block orings necessary? I am at 750whp with no orings but I will upgrade my turbo soon and thinking if I need them or not? I have 625 custom age head studs. Thanks

    • @bdalchemist
      @bdalchemist  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I feel it's not necessary below 1000hp. Even after some of our cars do not have them. Key is proper machining of matting surface, good gasket and really good studs

    • @DEATHWISHVQ
      @DEATHWISHVQ 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bdalchemist no it was a question. I always assumed just about every engine who tries to push past 1000 wheel DAILY use or 1000, not a dyno queen number, should opt for having rings. Then I thought maybe it depends on a certain PSI, ofc with 10 psi you’re in safe waters, 50 psi on a MLS imo sounds unsafe. Then again most cars make dyno numbers, probably blows up a motor and nothing is ever shared with the community, for example: 370Z G37 VHR engine can make 700 wheel on a stock block, and people will think “see it’s safe” bur reality it’s a time bomb.

    Couldn't you just put the regulator in the trunk and control the pressure from there

    • @bdalchemist
