Is there any long term care I need put into like extra fluid top off, bleeding or fluid replacing, extra maintenance or anything I need to tell a mechanic prior to installing this?

Nope, I want to say it came with instructions, but it's been a while since it was installed. The pump works the same just now its inside of the car and not outside being exposed to the elements.

@@Ligma7232 welcome. There's nothing special you need to do to get this done or anything. Just. Treat it like it was still outside of the car I guess. It is nice. Gets a little loud sometimes. Probably could get yourself some of those audio dampers that people use for podcasts that they hang on the wall. Just to muffle the sound of the pump. I don't hear it anymore, unsure why but maybe it's cause of the loud music I blast haha. You can certainly hear it during the cold winter months.

Hey, I didn't do this. The working at the dealer ship did this for me, I was just a dude behind the camera. But I hope this helps you.

Does getting this relocation kit permanently fix AYC pump failures?

I Just got in from work. Whelp, if your like me and live in the upper North East of The United States. I suggest you get one. Since the original location is underneath the right side back wheel. I suggest anyone get one of these if you live in a cold and snowy are of the world. Since the pump is exposed to the elements. The road salt doesn't help AT ALL. Since I had this installed last year. I haven't had a problem. I will be honest being here in CT, while in the colder months. You will see the TARMAC light blink but it will stop blinking once the car heats up. I believe that the cold has something to do with the fluid running through the lines, but I could be wrong. With the job I have, I deliver to golf courses in and through out CT, NJ all of Long Island, and parts of Upstate NY. So when it comes Decemeber it slows down and I get laid off. I drive south to Myrtle Beach, SC USA to my parents house till end of Feb. So the car doesn't see to much cold weather and or snow. But sometimes it still snows here in March. But other than that, the car hasn's seen much snow. While down in Myrtle Beach, SC USA. the tarmac light never blinked ONCE!! So I think it's the cold weather that keeps making this blink. I was given some of the fluid that is used for the pump. I've noticed that sometimes it goes below the line. It's wierd, there's no leak anywhere as well. So who knows what it could be that makes this blink, but I think it's just the COLD WEATHER!!
