literally same. i’m autistic and sensory stimulation is a big thing for me, there’s a lot of sensory input i cannot stand but the feeling of snakes wrapped around me is so great.
@@foxxiangel6384 I'm not autistic as far as I know (I'm currently being assessed), but I do have ADHD and have sensory issues as a result. I tootally agree with you on loving how snakes feel, it's kinda like an adorable, moving weighted blanket. I wish I could get one but they only allow native reptiles as pets where I live and all our native snakes are really venomous, so unfortunately I can't.

My daughter actually just got her Make A Wish granted. She wanted a bunny. His name is Donut & he is the sweetest thing! She takes such great care of him! Organizations like Make A Wish & Wishes & More make our kiddos so happy! My daughter has had a life of heart surgeries, procedures, pokes & prods, & her Donut has made her the happiest kid! Us parents are so incredibly grateful & thankful! To Emily, my Emma loves your channel! My kiddos now want reptiles galore! 🤣🤣
That was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. It touches my heart knowing that children that were conned like that (IE; Genetics, disease, etc.) are able to see their dreams come true before they take that trip to heaven. It is truly amazing how people can do so much for certain people (Ones with terminal illness, mental illness, etc.) Even though this was not enough to fully restore my faith in humanity (In fact, i outright despise it due to the bad people who ruin it for everyone), but it was more than enough to warm my cold heart. at the Walmart in my town you can get a lindor variety pack that has the regular dark chocolate truffles, 60% extra dark and then 70% extra dark for about $10! 60% is definitely my favorite, I think it's the perfect balance.

It's hard reading older people's handwriting when they give us notes at work (usually a work order or complaint (and sometimes the blessed note of moving out in a month)) because it's all in cursive. I stare at some words for solid minutes at a time until I hand it off to my older boss who can read it with ease. XD
As a person who has a BP and is on the spectrum, I love having my BP on me. I love the feeling of him holding onto me. I really do want a bigger snake. Boyfriend says not right now. Which is understandable.

I'm amazed on how many people went to see the snakes and carry them. I see so many people who are afraid of them and won't even dare to look at them. This is amazing. I'm glad Maddie got her wish and it warmed my heart to know that the lady faced her fears for a moment just to please this sweet little girl 😊
Karla was so sweet. You could tell she was uncomfortable but she stuck it out for Maddie. Poor gal. lol Also, I can relate to that woman about the sensory stuff SO much. I use a weighted blanket and if I'm stressed, I'll hold my ball pythons. It's like the perfect hug. Hoping to get a boa someday. They seem like the perfect snake for me so far.

Ed, from a (retired) pro to another: Carry a roll of gaffer's tape. So many uses in production and it leaves no residue on practically all surfaces. If in only had a dollar for every time someone needed something gaffer taped.

I grew up with a 4 and 5 foot snake, my dad was a huge reptile fan and totally loved them and babied them, so I grew up learning how to handle and respect reptiles, I love your channel and everything that you guys work towards, thank you so much for sharing, I really hope that your zoo/business/ classrooms, work out, you guys are amazing and so knowledgeable and I hope tons of people are able to learn from you guys! I am smiling so hard my freakin' FACE hurts! That was so good of y'all to do that; it was truly amazing. I kept seeing myself in those little girls; the very first snake I ever held was an extremely nice ball python that the local snake zoo, the Panama City Beach Snakeatorium, brought to our gradeschool when I was in first grade. I was the first kid to ask to hold one that day and if I could've kept that python I would have! Now I have three of my own, plus other reptiles; but I've never forgotten the weight and soft, smooth feeling of that beautiful snake. Thank you for giving that experience to others (and for waking a few adults up too!)
Awwwwww!!!!! That little.girl's reaction was priceless!!! 😄 And that fairy godmother was a fairy ANGEL!! What a TROOPER!! If she didn't like.snakes, I can only assume that means she probably didn't handle them on a daily basis or EVER for that matter! She opened that basket and plunged in as if she were doing nothing scarier than....kneading Doughboy something!! My hats is off to her!! And then she played it off for several minutes and managed to mask her discomfort with humor. Not one of them wimpy contributors even attempted to help her hold the snake. This is amazing in SO many ways. The little girl gets her wish. You get to be absolutely badass on stage, just wrapping the snake around your shoulders and walking out. The patrons get to know more about snakes, and understand them better. Ms Blomberg gets to test her courage and dedication.
Honestly, I cried, I LOVE snakes and Harry Potter just like her and would love to go to Harry Potter world and hold snakes and have snakes (I’m not allowed 😔) but she deserves to do it way more then I do. This put me in a good mood :)

I'll never understand why parents refuse certain pets to kids. I was never one of those kids until I wanted to get pet rats since I've always adored animals. I'm sure if I had asked for a macaw my mother would've let me, but rats were out of the question. Recently I was given the chance to get 2 and I did. Before getting them, I was depressed and wouldn't leave my room besides to use the bathroom and go to school every couple of days. My physical health and mental health was shocking, but after I got them I improved significantly. My mother fell in love with them and actively tries to convince me to get more (I currently have 5). People are scared of what they don't understand. Anyone and everyone can get over a fear, some just aren't willing to do it.
I love seeing people who are scared of snakes actually come into contact with one and realize how cute and awesome they are!!!! (though of course if you're afraid of snakes that's ok too)
I'd say Maddie looked like an absolutely happy little girl It's great and important that organisations like "wishes & more" exist and do whatever necessary to give little children such experiences. And it's great of you to help wishes & more to give Maddie this experience. It's very wonderful

Emily you guys are easily the biggest positive channel on youtube, I love you guys so much and I cannot wait to meet you and support you through taking one of your babby snakes home (one day! Would love to pick up a false water cobra but I still have quite a lot of research in that department! And they still have lots of growing lol). You guys brighten my day/week/month/year whenever you upload, I've felt a huge release in my anxiety through watching you guys for the last year and whenever I feel down it seems to be that I just ran out of of Snake Discovery videos to catch up on and ran out of steam and need to go back and watch a few older videos.

I'm amazed on how many people went to see the snakes and carry them. I see so many people who are afraid of them and won't even dare to look at them. This is amazing. I'm glad Maddie got her wish and it warmed my heart to know that the lady faced her fears for a moment just to please this sweet little girl 😊
That lady did such a great job holding the snake and staying calm. Good for her that’s a really sweet thing to do for that little girl
Karla was so sweet. You could tell she was uncomfortable but she stuck it out for Maddie. Poor gal. lol Also, I can relate to that woman about the sensory stuff SO much. I use a weighted blanket and if I'm stressed, I'll hold my ball pythons. It's like the perfect hug. Hoping to get a boa someday. They seem like the perfect snake for me so far.

Honestly, any and every time I need a pick me up, this is the best way for me to get it. You, Ed, and 'the Lady' Klara (according to the comment XD) are absolutely amazing. The fact that you two went out of your way to do this, AND the fact that she was able to push her dislike of snakes aside... it speaks volumes.

Ed, from a (retired) pro to another: Carry a roll of gaffer's tape. So many uses in production and it leaves no residue on practically all surfaces.
If in only had a dollar for every time someone needed something gaffer taped.

@@JaelinBezel It was English, but written in the greek alphabet. A non-english speaking greek would not have been able to read it, just as an English-speaking person with no knowledge of greek characters would not have been able to read it either.

So friggin sweet! I grew up with a 4 and 5 foot snake, my dad was a huge reptile fan and totally loved them and babied them, so I grew up learning how to handle and respect reptiles, I love your channel and everything that you guys work towards, thank you so much for sharing, I really hope that your zoo/business/ classrooms, work out, you guys are amazing and so knowledgeable and I hope tons of people are able to learn from you guys! AWESOME, SNAKE DISCOVERY!
I am smiling so hard my freakin' FACE hurts! That was so good of y'all to do that; it was truly amazing. I kept seeing myself in those little girls; the very first snake I ever held was an extremely nice ball python that the local snake zoo, the Panama City Beach Snakeatorium, brought to our gradeschool when I was in first grade. I was the first kid to ask to hold one that day and if I could've kept that python I would have! Now I have three of my own, plus other reptiles; but I've never forgotten the weight and soft, smooth feeling of that beautiful snake. Thank you for giving that experience to others (and for waking a few adults up too!)

Awwwwww!!!!! That little.girl's reaction was priceless!!! 😄 And that fairy godmother was a fairy ANGEL!! What a TROOPER!! If she didn't like.snakes, I can only assume that means she probably didn't handle them on a daily basis or EVER for that matter! She opened that basket and plunged in as if she were doing nothing scarier than....kneading Doughboy something!! My hats is off to her!! And then she played it off for several minutes and managed to mask her discomfort with humor. Not one of them wimpy contributors even attempted to help her hold the snake. So much for chivalry!! 😁 This was really heartwarming and has haD me smiling the ENTIRE video and even still as I type this comment. @Snake Discovery Good job!! God bless you both!!

Honestly, I cried, I LOVE snakes and Harry Potter just like her and would love to go to Harry Potter world and hold snakes and have snakes (I’m not allowed 😔) but she deserves to do it way more then I do. This put me in a good mood :)

I'll never understand why parents refuse certain pets to kids. I was never one of those kids until I wanted to get pet rats since I've always adored animals. I'm sure if I had asked for a macaw my mother would've let me, but rats were out of the question. Recently I was given the chance to get 2 and I did. Before getting them, I was depressed and wouldn't leave my room besides to use the bathroom and go to school every couple of days. My physical health and mental health was shocking, but after I got them I improved significantly. My mother fell in love with them and actively tries to convince me to get more (I currently have 5). People are scared of what they don't understand. Anyone and everyone can get over a fear, some just aren't willing to do it.

I love seeing people who are scared of snakes actually come into contact with one and realize how cute and awesome they are!!!! (though of course if you're afraid of snakes that's ok too)
