I am currently looking of getting a travel bag and I am battling between the old boy medium and 19 medium for a travel bag but im a bit worried of the 19 being lambskin. Which one do you recommend more for travel? And the weights.. which one is lighter? I dont carry a lot of stuff in my bags whether travelling or day to day, I normally just carry my full size wallet my promax and a small nylon pouch for my lipstick, lip balm and a gum. I love 💕 the small Boy bag. I have the Small So Black. I can actually fit a lot inside. My mobile, key clay (to avoid scratching leather), don’t need a wallet as I pay with phone, lipstick, perfume, shades, and I’m good to go 🏃🏽♂️💨
The Boy is such a fun look, but it is not practical for frequent use or anyone that actually goes in and out of their handbag throughout the day. The Chanel 19 is one of the most user friendly designer bags on the market today and great for more frequent use.

Totally agree with this. The 19 I find is much better for everyday use. I also don't like them when they look too 'saggy' so that insert I use is a must as it helps the bag to keep a more structured shape.
@@Handbagholic I should get a base shaper. I went out to lunch with it yesterday and could not figure out what to do with it while I ate because of the floppy nature of it. The strap is too long to put it on the back of a chair or to use a purse hook.

Comparing these two bags are like comparing apple with orange. Both bags are so different. I don’t think the 19 bag will stay in style or trend for long. The bag will lose its puffiness and shape and won’t look good anymore.
The boy is like a brick.. And harder to maintain the shape. Bc once it's out of shape will be very obvious. Whereas 19 is already soft to begin with. Love your caramel small and small boy ❤️
