finally someone made a ride along video of one of the most powerful musclecars in the world. thanks a ton I enjoyed the ride along and he actually drove the car like it wants to be driven
Back when cars were cars! My favorite Mustang body: 69-70. I bet it's got some nasty low-end torque too! Runs right behind the Boss 9; muscle cars at their peak!
Beautiful cobra mustang shelby. I only seen 2 growing up as a kid. My dream car nice 🐍.
My uncle had a jade green 70...
@@herbertpetrillo485 yeah I saw a dude had a blue convertible gt 500 but some haters at school said it was a girls car so he sold it in 1976 for $3000!! Then he turned around & bought a jade Green Gt 350 fastback. I don't know why he listened to those idots the convertible was gorgeous with the top down you could see the roll bar. My dad bought me a 351 mach 1 4 spd if I graduated & I did.
@@herbertpetrillo485 yep I've seen that color on a gt 350.
That one brings back memory's, back in 71, I was visiting my aunt, and uncle down in Macon Ga, my uncle let me take his car out on the town, it was a 69 Shelby Mustang, with the 428 two four barrels, with role bars in it, well after a night in a few loco bars, I got pulled over bye some loco yokels from Hawkinsville Ga, and they decided I should be their gust for the night, lucky I didn't try to out run them, which I know that mustang was very capable of doing, but I was not, and not knowing the roads, and the area very well and the prospect of destroying that beautiful car, I decided to take them up on their offer, well 24 hours, and two hundred and ten dollars later, I was on my way, with the mustang intact, That was one night in my life with a Shelby, I will never forget.
My uncle has a 69 Shelby GT 500. He bought it in 1971 and it's his pride and joy
I can see why
Jon Williams i can relate my grandpa owned a 67 GT-500 in The 70s then in 1976 he sold the next day the kid called him and said that he had wrecked it
How much would those run in the 1/4?
I know a man down in Nokomis, Fl that has a white with blue stripe '69 GT 500 Shelby Mustang that he bought in '71 from the original owner.
I bet
It doesn't get much better than this from the muscle care era.
These big block Fords were fantastic back then.
That's the sound of perfection. Also my dream car. Great job! :)
I'm glad you like it. Thank you for watching!
Mjne too
Getting my 69 GT 350 back on the road, I choose the small block, original owner.
This car has and always will be my unicorn but hearing the ride along makes me love my 94 Cobra that much more. The squeaky clutch you can hear just before the engine roars. The long throw of the shifter. A car is unique because of it's quirks and even the fastest and most rare have their quirks
I love the squeaky clutch sound
My 07 gt premium looks pretty but wow her great-great-grandmother here is stunningly beautiful !!! Now I know where she got some of her looks. Grandmother here is a super model
Excuse me while I clean off my keyboard.
Thanks for watching!
One of my dream cars right there. The other is a 63 split window vette.
Rock 'n' Roll and mustang ford gt500.... Original car from '69 ..Beautiful!
Awesome car!! That brings back some good old memories. My grampa had a1970 shelby SCJ GT500 with drag pack. He sold it to Jim Osbourne from georgia in 1981... the car is now in wisconsin i believe.. Its red with the yellow stripes, never been restored and only 12,000 plus miles...
yes David Hollon, that is the car... WOW! I had seen it was at a dealer last year . i see they did some body work in the trunk area.... I have a picture of my dad and i standing next to it in 1970.. i was 5 at the time... i remember Jim Osbourne coming here to MT.Vernon ohio in early 1981 to pick the car up... i couldnt believe Grampa let the car go!!! I think he sold it for 15,000...
#1 favorite all time muscle car.
I like the leaf rustling around @2:25 nice touch ;)
Yeah :)
Ain't nothing like a 69 Super Cobra Jet Buddy!! You probably still have a smile on your face from riding in it eh!!☺
Yep, I know you know exactly what it's like....they really are awesome machines. The torque that thing makes is incredible. Thanks for taking a look!
I see one in North Carolina in 2002 ,the owner hi pass away Fulton Brayant, the cars are a monster!!!💪🏻
This was a great video , nice editing.
Thank you very much, I'm glad you liked it!
I love listening to that engine go through the gears.
It really does sound great....thanks for watching!
Way nicer than the new ones. Man what a car.
It really is an awesome machine...thanks for watching!
Absolutely immaculate. Beautiful doesn't even begin to describe this automobile.
I always liked the exhaust tips.
I love these old cars !
Then you came to the right place. Thanks for watching!
this is why i never felt comfortable at my cousins vette ralleyes. cobras are beautiful. plus my dad bought me a 351 cleveland mach 1 for graduation. yellow and black. nice cobra.
Wow! Just wow... Amazing car!
+Ralph Paglia Glad you like it. Thanks for watching!
love thos clocks on the passenger side. nice video
The down-sloping front fenders and nose look like the inspiration for the 71-73 cars, the hood too for the Mach1s of the same years
I am now going to subscribe to your TH-cam page. What a machine!
My father brought me to look at one in 1973; Acapulco Blue w/white Int; convertible 4spd & MINT! It had gold strobe striping down sides. This was during the big Gas Crisis. An elder lady owned it. She was asking $2,900 cash. He didn't buy. Sheesh!!!
The most beautiful car ever produced in my mind just gorgeous sleek powerful enough for fun times Shelby a statement of a car above all freaking beautiful!
Carol Shelby that name will live on forever !
Awesome Video on another Great muscle car only thing that could have made it better is if I was driving and did about a half dozen doughnuts in that parkimg lot
I would love to whip some doughnuts in a $160K car too, but I don't think the owner would appreciate too much..lol. That thing really is a blast though. Thanks for checking it out!
my favorite muscle car ever
It really is an awesome machine...thanks for watching!
Simply superb and another great video!
Glad you liked it, thanks for watching!
just beautiful
Thanks for watching!
I use to own mach 1 71 351 cleve. 4 speed. Rebuilt it when i was 17 uncles garage.
its that sound!
what a gem!
This car got an aux outlet?
Sounds great 👍. Look formidable.
oh lord! wish i own that one
she's sure got some balls, eh! looks to be beauty even underneath. great video shots man.
Oh yeah, that thing will really move. He was babying it a bit because it has a pretty healthy price tag on it. I had my friend Steve, from Area Rides, helping out with some of the camera duties again. He always does a great job. Thanks for watching Murray!
69 and 70 Mustangs look very different from the 71's new look. I'm no expert but the first thing i notice about this car is that it has the look of a '71 Mustang front end, the fenders and bumper, etc. the rear sides look sorta 69ish but they too may be 71ish. I know it's a Shelby so they make some changes but I wouldn't think they'd be able to get 71 front fenders if the car was made in 69. That may be where I'm wrong; the car may have been updated with the newer front end after 1971. Anybody have an answer? Thanks.
I understand what you're saying, and you're right, the Shelby bares no resemblance to the regular 69 or 70 Mustang. Ford's designers were mostly responsible for it's look. They may have been trying out the 71 type styling on the Shelby first to gauge people's reaction to it. As far as this particular car goes, it hasn't been modified in any way. All of the 1969 Shelby Mustangs share the same styling.
RamblinAround Thanks. That's interesting. Nice car, too.
I love the big nose Mustangs!
Thanks for taking a look!
Really nice Shelby Jeff !!
428 + 4 speed; That will chuck along down the road... LOL.
Dont forget my new vid to my friend.
Thanks for checking it out Jos!
cooool man it sounds great
I just love mustangs this one is absolutly awsome holy Moses so fast and furious thanks jeff and Jordan for this video i enjoy every moment
Amazing car
Its interesting how the Boss is so much more popular
I wonder if Ford thought of suing Mopar for the front end of the Challenger which came out the very next year. The grill and the whole front half looks like this Ford! I never knew this.
i like it because it's got lots of scoops n curves n yellow and noise.
Yep, it's hard not to like this one. Thanks for having a look Gabe.
Those are four important characteristics for sure!
Great car sounds excellent how about you grease the clutch pedal!
This but white or a 65 gt350 or a 69 Camaro z28 R's
Paint job adds 50 MPH , cool !
How is this car different from a 71 Mustang? They look the same.
Great video!
very niceee!!!! thx for sharing
Thanks for watching, we appreciate it!
Headlights coming, tail lights going
I would of loved to see a boss 9 in a few shelbys now that would make a statement not just a statement a perfect dream car above all the freaking best ! Sorry I'm just freaking with the thought of it!
One was a blue 428 convert. And he sold it to get a hardtop 351gt shelby.
Eso si es una señora máquina y un señor carro, el mejor vehículo de la historia
Ford rules!!
I WIIISSSH
Real car
Beautiful car. Only flaw I seen was hood doesn’t sit down flush
They are fiberglass, and this is quite mine is the same
Great.
Is that rear vent functional?
All scoops are functional on these Shelby gt's.
NICE NICE NICE
Thanks for watching!
The only thing im not feeling is the hood but other than that its beast
Thanks for having a look at it!
I've only seen one of these it was orange and it was a 350 I was in high school the rich kid up the street at the drive this dad's beat up 69 it was 1984 I like the squeak in this car though squeaky squeak squeak clutch or something
Nice!
Thanks for checking it out!
Nice
Thanks for watching!
Cerrano gt???(front)
Someone stole my Shelby and I want it back.
I can dream can't I?
Dammmm
How sweet it is !. ...damn. I'll have about 3 day's to decide what to do about this erection !
428 with the 3,91 ...it annihilate those stock tire ....dont ask how i know
The clutch pedal picot bushings need to be replaced!!
Back in the day I had one of these and I used to get tortured by small block Chevys on race night. Then I bought a mopar.
Really wow
can i buy this car?
Yes, it's currently for sale. You can check it out on their website...the link is in the description below the video. Thanks for watching!
Nice car. Should be fast
The front of that car looks a lot like a AMC
Superbe !!!!! :-)
AWESOME CAR!!! ;-)
I had a 68 KR..
and if I would have shifted it like that I'd be putting a new U-joint thing in about 500 miles.
had a tiger still have my 72 Stingray..
but by far my most favorite car the drive the most fun car to drive was my 73 Trans Am.
by far a better car than the 68 gt500kr.
it was faster but not as quick but they're handling the way the kr just kept on coming up on you an attorney and you had to power out of it you really had to use that engine to drive that car.
the Trans Am was like driving a experienced thoroughbred.
the Sunbeam Tiger was like driving a boogie board with an outboard motor
When I get older and you rumbling around are still doing this at that classic are selling price and you have one just the exact color call me I truly hate Ford trucks but I love that particular model of Shelby Ford Mustang
They still Rattle and squeak
She is a honey
1:31
Nice, but a 351 Boss will run with it and handle a ton better, because of the weight of the big block, big motors are only good for quarter mile, no twisty's
see how many phone numbers you get in a hr
Bonita el cobra Jet el. Único defecto el color 😒😒
do a fucking quarter mile!!!!!
Jk
Ford falcon RIP off lol
horrible looking exhaust
Amazing car
