@@Saru-yr3qk you've obviously never touched a car with these (it's ok, most haven't) but if you don't push down on the hood before you pull you'll most definently scratch the piss out of it.
@@yjjeeper1 I own a 69 with those hood latches, you can pull them out just as he did in the video without worry of scratching the paint. Now, I wouldn't have just let them drop down without care as he did, but it still wouldn't scratch anything. It's not going to scratch the paint because there are stainless steel plates under the hood pins.

In my opinion this is the most beautiful car ever made. Every single detail of this masterpiece is just magnificent.
Not a fan of the small lights added next to the headlights or the side skirting with side exhaust. Makes it look cheap to me.

@@poolie6662 b for build TH-cam channel basically built Eleanor, but with new technology from a newer mustang, but the Eleanor name licensing company sued b is for build and took the car from them because they called the car Eleanor which is a copyrighted name for a car because the Eleanor car is considered a character by law so any car/mustang named Eleanor or has anything to do with gone in 60 seconds is technically by law owned by the Eleanor llc company.
B is for build deserved it

I've had a 1966 Mustang since 1997 and I think it's crazy that the value for a base 289 is about the same, however if it's anything above that such as a HiPo, Boss, Shelby, etc, they have gone up tremendously. I kind of wish I bought something a little higher optioned because it would have cost about the same to fix up.

I love this car my favorite of all the Mustangs. Reminds me of my first car also a 67 Fastback Mustang that I got when I was 14 and was also my very first build.
This mustang "Eleanor" didn't exist like that. It had been created for the movie on base of 1967 Fastback...

One of my favorites
Eleanor, she is the only car I ever built myself. ;) I didn't even build the car I flew in Vegas in 1967. But I did have 9 cars built on the 48th floor of the hotel casino, so I could get the correct car for flying building to building in. The problem was, I didn't get to use the one I wanted to, I had to use the one closest to the window, because it was the only one that wasn't blocked off from exitting the building through the window toward the other building. There was only like 5 feet for getting acceleration too and no ramp to boot. People wondered how I sat in a flaming car for 47 minutes until the first responder finally made the run up the 57 flights of stairs to pull me out of a flaming car that had no gas tank in it and shouldn't have caught on fire..... It was the alcohol in the car in the back seat that caught the car on fire. I believe that is when it became illegal to drink and drive. Sorry people, fucked that up too, that on time in Vegas...... But atleast now it is legal to fly in any vehicle you can get airborne in and a quick flight to Las Vegas for gambling, where they always give gamblers free alcoholic drinks to keep people gambling.
By the way, the one closest to the window was the first car that was built that night, and the other 8 didn't really need to be built, but I kept making more people build more cars on the 48th floor until they got pissed and everyone told me, "we are not going to build you anymore cars for your suicide stunt, pick one now!" So I took some time alone to think about it and fix the first car up to make sure it was ready for the stunt. By removing a bunch of shit from it. I got 4 floors higher then I estimated I would. I estimated I would only go up or down 5 floors from the 48th floor, I was wrong in my calculations, because I was just taking a wild guess, and didn't calculate shit, like I was trying to convince people I was doing, making all kind of stunt calculations when I was alone.

1:40 One of the most copied cars in the world. B is for Build copied one by stripping down a 2015 Mustang body and spent months making 71 panels fit etc and right at the end when he was done with the car, his car, just his car, not any of the other ones that was copied was lawyered away from him after he was sued for breaking copyright laws that he didnt even know existed. Not given a chance to change it a little or painting it a different colour or changing the wheels or anything but just taken away from him. USA mafia. May those bastards have whats coming to them.
The car was never painted, the wheels were not even close to the same, and it was titled as a 2015 Mustang. The only thing that made it an Eleanor was the grill, front valance, and hood. All of which could have been modified or changed to look "different", never mind the fact you can buy these parts from hundreds of online catalogs. The only reason he got hit was because he is a bigger youtuber and he called it Eleanor. All he had to do was change the title to his videos, and bleep him saying that name, modify the grill, valance, and hood and they could have told them to take a flying leap. His lawyer sucks balls for caving and letting them take the car from him.

One of the worst fake Boss 429's in history...it is all wrong...the consensus is it is a 69 Mustang GT or possibly a Mach I...just the most obvious stuff is the Boss didn't have hood pins, didn't have a rear spoiler and the hood/scoop were the body color...and the Boss scoop was HUGE...and the stance was much different with bigger tires (the rear fender wells were slightly rolled too to accommodate the bigger tires). And the wick car sounds NOTHING like a solid lifter Boss 9 Engine...to me it sound like a 351 Windsor and is not even a color offered in the Boss 429 in either '69 or '70.
Steve Fowler My Dad bought a '69, ordered a Cleveland, got a Windsor. It was not a fastback and had a manual. My mom got it in their divorce, always hated it and her "boyfriend" sold it right from under me when I was 10 yrs old.
@@jimbot67nite14 Yeah the Cleveland was not officially offered until 1970 model year...but had your Dad bought his stang in early fall perhaps it was on the dealer options list by then. But officially the Cleveland was not available in the '69 mustangs
