    So the end credit scene with Nick Fury was originally gotten to be slightly longer and feature a bunch of refences to other hero's. Nick said "As if gamma accidents, radioactive bug bites, and assorted mutants weren't enough, I have to deal with a spoiled brat who doesn't play well with others and wants to keep all his toys to himself". This is all said before Tony says "Who the hell are you".
    The gamma accident is a fun reference to the Hulk while radioactive bug bites is a reference to Spider-Man. And finally my favourite reference "assorted mutants" is nod to the Mutants of the Marvel universe people who have the X-Gene and of course the X-Men the group that's formed by and for Mutants.
    There's a few problems though as Sony own the rights to Spider-Man so they of course couldn't actually use Spider-Man. And the biggest one being Fox at the time owned the rights to the X-Men along with Mutants in general meaning Marvel could not use the term Mutants in the MCU for legal reasons.
    As you may know there is MCU Spider-Man films, Sony made a deal with Marvel that they could feature a Spider-Man in the MCU who is played by Tom Holland. But originally Kevin Feige the President of Marvel Studios wanted to tie the MCU to the Amazing Spider-Man films having Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man but this never happened. If Spider-Man 4 was never cancelled Tobey Maguire could've also been the MCU Spider-Man meaning he would've been active a good 7 to 8 years before the events of Iron Man.
    But yeah with the events of the MCU at the moment the delete scene doesn't fit into the MCU. I think this scene was more trying to connect itself to the Toby Spider-Man films and of course the Fox X-Men movies hinting at them taking place in the same universe but legal reasons it never happened, would've been cool though.

    I'm so glad you're getting into the Marvel Universe. You're in for an amazing journey. Tony Stark is a great character and his character arc actually occurs over the entire series and not just in this movie or the Iron Man films. He's arrogant and selfish and has a massive ego, but you'll like him more each time you see him.
    Can't wait to see your reaction to the rest of the films!

    • @nejoudtourki6000
      @nejoudtourki6000 ปีที่แล้ว

      He is NOT arrogant and he sure as hell NOT selfish, an arrogant person is a person who doesn’t allow other to contribute and who doesn’t listen to others and that’s NOT Tony, a selfish person doesn’t behave like he’s the only one who has experience thus making the only one allowed to never be questioned, a selfish person doesn’t put others before his own well being and that’s what Tony has done since his first movie and throughout the MCU movies. The person you’re describing as selfish and arrogant is Steve Rogers who always puts his needs before everyone else’s, and who thinks he knows better because he had one experience in his life which to him makes “qualified”

    Every time I watch a Marvel film, I'm reminded that when I was growing up in the late 70s/early 80s, pretty much all we had from Marvel was the cartoon shorts left over from '66 '67. Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Sub-Mariner. A couple times there were special appearances by X-Men, Ant-Man, Wasp and The Fantastic Four. They were basically frames from the comic books with sound, and the camera zooming in and out, or panning left and right to give the illusion of movement. Spider-Man was the only one who got his own fully animated half-hour.

    Happy to see another reactor starting an MCU Journey! You mentioned you would be doing some other movies as well (probably smart for overall numbers), how often do you think you will be putting out MCU content?
    - Watch in Release Order not Chronological Order (looks like you are, so good) for your first time through the MCU.
    - End Credit Scenes. Almost all of these will have scenes during and/or after the credits you will want to stick around for and watch.
    - Stan Lee, on of the creators of Marvel and these characters has cameos in these movies up until he passes, so keep an eye out!

    • @seanmahoney2671
      @seanmahoney2671 ปีที่แล้ว

      also... you probably already know, but the order is not Iron man 1, iron man 2, etc.... All the movies are one big story, so release order is Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers (for phase 1 of the MCU, not the phases you were talking about).

    • @TaraTunesIn
      @TaraTunesIn  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the info!
      I did look up the release order before starting! I didn’t realize during the first couple of movies about the end scenes but figured it out, and will now be checking all of them!
      I didn’t recognize Stan Lee as Hugh Hefner in Iron Man, but I did recognize him as the old man who gets gamma poisoning In The hulk, although I don’t think I said anything.
      I’m sure I will notice him every time moving forward, whether I say it out loud or not :)
      I think the plan is to do two Marvel, one other, two Marvel, one other, etc. for phase 1, and then take a break and return to Marvel phase 2 in the new year :)
