BMPCC4K VS GH5s Low light comparison in 2023

Hello! this is me trying new talking format to share experience and to make quality of my videos better overall. Hope to get support and feedback from you guys and I will keep doing videos like this from now on constantly.

The GH5s is the best MFT of the Panasonic cameras. But, Blackmagic just has that cinematic quality that Panasonic can't replicate.

Yeah it's just a question of preferance which camera suits you more. My preferances has bipolar disorder so i've gor two lol

I'm curious, why don't you shoot in BRAW on your Pocket 4K at 4K DCI? It will give you way more flexibility in post. Learning Davinci Resolve is pretty easy. I recommend Casey Faris' tutorials. The noise reduction in Resolve should help. Plus, I am not sure if the crop to make it UHD is causing any increased noise.

I shoot ProRes Raw out of my GH5s in low light with great results also. It's just not shot in cam it's over HDMI.

I do use braw but for this test prores was making more sence since GH5s doesn't have any of raw formats :)

Would be nice to see how the gh5s prores raw/braw output vs the internal bmpcc4k braw compares maybe skin tones and color rendition would be even more similar than it is, I currently have a gh5s with atomos ninja V and just the prores 422 already looks different over the internal 10bit even when grading the same.
